  The latest information is that the Democrats who "negotiated" with McCarthy misrepresented what they were offering and completely snowed the Speaker. When House republicans confronted McCarthy with the subterfuge, pointing out that he was not getting from the Democrats what he imagined, he ignored them and plowed ahead over the cliff. It was a cowardly and lazy cave.

  Hey Governor. I've said this before, if the average person can bring all extra spending to a haul and pay the outstanding bills, then the government can too. They, I think, are supposed to be the example. By the way, your grandkids are in sound company! At 64 my dinner last night was a chicken breast - and two pints of ice cream, one Häagandas and the other Ben and Jerry's! God bless you and yours Governor!
