We’ll have more on some of these stories on Monday, but just so you know:

Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg dropped his appeal to prevent former Trump-hating New York prosecutor Mark Pomerantz from being subpoenaed to testify before the House Judiciary Committee, after a judge pretty much left him no choice.

The election software company Konnech Inc. dropped its lawsuit against True The Vote, after founders Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips were outrageously imprisoned, strip-searched and put in solitary confinement for refusing to reveal their sources. True the Vote released a statement reading, “Konnech’s litigation was meritless and intended to harass this organization. They have failed. We are evaluating our options with regard to holding them accountable for their unwarranted actions. We believe Konnech dismissed its lawsuit because it saw that it would lose.”

And the Supreme Court issued an administrative stay on a lower court’s ruling that the FDA violated its own rules in approving and removing safeguards from the abortion pill, mifepristone. This isn’t a ruling on the merits of the case, but it means the pill will remain available for now. The Alliance Defending Freedom, which filed the suit on behalf of doctors and medical groups, said it’s “common practice” for the Court to maintain the status quo until they can hear an appeal and issue a ruling. That’s been fast-tracked with oral arguments set for May 17.
