BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY

COVID Stimulus Bill Passes

By Mike Huckabee

The House passed the Democrats’ $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief/stimulus bill with no Republicans supporting it and two Democrats opposing it. It now goes to the Senate, where the Parliamentarian has already ruled that its $15-an-hour minimum wage hike is not a budget issue and can’t be included in a budget reconciliation bill that needs only 51 votes to pass. To pass, it will need every Democrat backing it and Vice President Kamala Harris to break the tie.

That link tells a little bit of what’s in it, and which parts Republicans support and oppose (for instance, they oppose the $350 billion to states to replace lost revenue as a bailout for badly-run blue states at the expense of successful red states.) And here’s some more on a portion of the bill that’s being called a big giveaway to teachers’ unions and federal workers.

The bill also calls for most Americans to receive another $1400 stimulus check. Added to the last $600 check, this would fulfill Biden’s campaign promise of $2,000 checks, or so the Democrats argue.

But that’s going over like a mustard milkshake with their base. “Progressives” are burning up Twitter with angry tweets about how they voted for Biden to get $2,000 checks, and he’s already bombed Syria before they got their money. Life lesson: if you’re going to sell your vote, get the money in advance.

Finally, new figures released Thursday show that GDP grew at an annual rate of 4.1% in the fourth quarter, suggesting that the economy is already bouncing back on its own and could hit the highest expansion rate since the Reagan era in 1984. That calls into question the need for any more stimulus bills. But then, that rebound happened when Trump was in office. Considering what the Democrats are doing, it’s no surprise they assume the economy is going to need artificial respiration.

Someday Soon

By Mike Huckabee

Despite the government’s best efforts to keep COVID panic alive, it appears that even Dr. Anthony Fauci is finally starting to come around to the reluctant realization that someday soon, the pandemic is going to end and people are going to go back to living their lives as they see fit, no matter how good it’s been for Fauci's career and the ambitions of power-mad Democrats.

Here’s an interesting article that touches on all the fearmongering about the coronavirus and how life can’t even get back to normal after most people are vaccinated is actually discouraging people from getting vaccinated while scaring those who are vaccinated into continuing to hide at home from a virus they’re already vaccinated against.

Standing Up To CRT

By Mike Huckabee

Have you had enough of the left’s “critical race theory” bringing back racism, division and segregation that were thankfully dying out before they fanned the flames to revive them for their own political advancement? Then join the oldest Chinese-American rights group, the Chinese-American Citizens Alliance of Greater New York in standing up against it.

CACAGNY just issued a manifesto blasting critical race theory. And they don’t mince words, calling CRT a “hateful, divisive, manipulative fraud” pushed by hate groups masquerading as anti-racism crusaders, when what they’re selling is actually “racist, repressive, discriminatory, and divisive.”

Read the full text of their letter for a description of what CRT really is, how it’s harming unfavored ethnic groups, like Chinese-Americans, and what Americans who are fed up with this racist “anti-racism” propaganda can do to stop it.

Trump Plotting Political Comeback

By Mike Huckabee

Politico has a story about former President Trump’s latest move, which shows he has no intention of leaving politics, no matter how badly his presence causes his critics to become so enraged they start "literally shaking."

Sharp Questions From Senator Paul

By Mike Huckabee

Sen. Rand Paul (who is also a medical doctor) is predictably being called a transphobe for sharply questioning Biden HHS nominee Dr. Rachel Levine, a transsexual who supports giving puberty-blocking chemicals to minors. It's a practice that causes irreversible physical effects and for which there are no longterm safety studies. Because when you’re choosing someone to oversee America’s Health and Human Services, you want someone who puts personal and political beliefs ahead of patient safety and basic biological science.

Durham Resigns

By Mike Huckabee

Last night, it was announced that John Durham had abruptly announced his resignation from the US Attorney’s office.

Most Trump supporters hearing the news immediately assumed, “Well, that’s it: the real insurrectionists, the coup plotters who abused the power of the federal government to try to overthrow the results of the 2016 election, will get off scot-free and probably get cushy jobs in the Biden Administration.” And while I wouldn’t be at all surprised if that does happen, this news doesn’t mean that Durham’s investigation of the Crossfire Hurricane targeting of the Trump Administration is over.

Fortunately, Trump and Attorney General Bill Barr foresaw this possibility before the election (Biden has already fired a number of US Attorneys, including one investigating Democrat corruption in Illinois) and named Durham as special counsel, a role in which he will continue. Only the Attorney General (presumably, Merrick Garland) could fire him.

Garland was pressed on that during his confirmation hearing, but as with most questions, he dodged taking a firm stand, other than that he sees no reason why Durham shouldn’t be left in place (you know someone is trying to avoid giving you a straight answer when it takes them two negatives to make a positive statement.)

Ordering his AG to fire a special counsel who’s investigating a scandal in which Biden and other members of Obama's circle were allegedly deeply involved would be very bad optics, and the kind of thing that would have Republicans demanding that a Republican President resign over (see Richard Nixon.) But Democrats have built such a strong record of circling the wagons when one of their own commits impeachable offenses and looking the other way in order to hang on to power that I can’t see that being much of a concern for Biden – unless he’s afraid that his fellow Democrats are looking for an excuse to show him the door and bring in Kamala Harris, and then all bets are off.

Thank you for all you have done for the USA. I am praying that your daughter Sara will play a part in our politics. I honestly believe she could be our first woman president. I am 94 years old. In all those years I have heard nothing but compliments for both you and your Sara. Sincerely, Kathleen

Bill Barr is a traitor from the deep state of DC swamp!
He didn’t do anything to help POTUS Trump, including Durham!
The optics was to set Durham up so he can’t be fired but all along he was to just quit! This is the feeling of wool being pulled over your head...

I read an article, can't remember where, about Piper aircraft potentially having to change the name of their aircraft as many have Indian names -- Cherokee, Comanche, etc. I wonder what that would do to the military helicopters, who many also have Native American names? When does "woke" stop just being stupid?

    Dear Governor Huckabee,
Thank you for your newsletter and for your commitment to bring us the truth. Daily we look forward to reading your commentary.
My husband, Andy, and I would also like to thank you for coming to the Colorado Christian University event in Tucson and speaking to us. It was a stirring address and one we won’t soon forget. We also appreciate being able to speak to you in person prior to the dinner and your address. It was great to reminisce with a picture about being a part of your Israel Experience, as well as when you were so kind and gracious to supply tickets to your NYC Huckabee show to my family to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday. That is something she will never forget and for which we will always be grateful. She is especially fond of the memory from your show of Tony Orlando (he was one of your guests that day) calling my mother, “Mother America”.
Thank you, Governor, for being such a blessing to so many people. May Gods bless and keep you a d your family.

Just another reminder of the predictions I submitted >a year ago--Biden is unfit for public office-we knew that before.(understand here that this condition is typical of aging humans--biden does not understand his own decline--he cannot be "blamed" for this natural occurrence--the "blame" here resides in his "handlers"--they have perpetrated this sham on the US citizens.)
His own party will effect his removal. Then, the swamp will take over as we all knew would eventually happen. This Country is on a downward spiral into the socialist maelstrom--nothing short of revolution might even have a minuscule chance of succeeding--the problem here is the aging conservatives who might be able to affect change are the primary targets of the "virus"---talk all you want about where this virus came from, and who engineered it(wanna give me some stats on the common flu and how many folks are infected?????????)
The real sol;ution is the rapid return of our Savior He will negate all this-we will endure the 1000 yrs ,but he will triumph---
I only wish I could witness the destruction of all those who work so hard to destroy our human condition--then again, I understand this would NOT be what our Savior advocated--but it sure would be nice to watch all the Satan-inspired entities get their just rewards---

"Durham investigation?" Let me just say that I'm still alive because I haven't been holding my breath that ANYONE in that puzzle palace of DC corruption will ever be 'perp walked' into prison! I know a stoneworker or two that would 'volunteer unpaid' to replace that carved-in-stone statement over the SCOTUS lair of "EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW" with the correct statement of "NO EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW!" As ole John Stossel would say, "Give Me A Break!!"

Love the show and first and foremost I am in the fight. I believe everything you are saying to reform elections needs to be first. I personally would like to hear the “back up plan” as well. What if the dems change election laws in ways it makes it almost impossible to win again? How are election laws actually going to change in blue states anyway? Always hope but feels like we are up against a brick wall to change laws in our favor there.

I also would love an update on the boycotts. Are we having an impact boycotting Amazon, Apple, Google…….

Even if Durham is NOT terminated soon, this investigation will lead to no convictions. Just another waste of time and taxpayer dollars, like the Mueller fiasco.

A Bible verse to consider for your verse of the day:
Acts 4:19-20 - But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.”

I love Pres Trump, I really do, but he has listened to people in his admin that meant him nothing but harm. He does not not need to run again. He already shown that that he was the best president that America has had and ever will be. But Wash DC will never let him do what is good for this country. Republicans turned against him and the demonrats would rather see America fall than to see Trump succeed.

I have a question, does John Durham even exist? Has anyone ever spoken to him? There are few photos of him and no videos of him ever speaking. And the photos are all the same ones over and over. Only two videos and not one word does he speak.

Your last sentence in your comment about Senator Paul questioning HHS candidate hints at sarcasm but is not strong enough in that direction to make the reader see the sarcasm. If not sarcasm this statement has not been supported by your previous commentary. What say you?
