STEELE TESTIMONY: FBI COORDINATED CLOSELY WITH THE STATE DEPARTMENT IN 2016

The British civil lawsuit by executives of Alfa Bank wrongly tied to a bogus "Russia" story is still going on, and THE EPOCH TIMES has obtained a recent transcript of Christopher Steele's testimony in that case. It suggests an even closer coordination between the FBI and the State Department in the attempt to tie Trump with Russia. With the Durham investigation locked down tight, this lawsuit offers further insight into what the intel bureaucracy was up to in 2016.

MUST-READ

With so many people being "canceled" for refusing to mouth self-incriminating left Newspeak, this is a report from someone who fought back in academia and won (at least for now.) It's a Must-Read for its "Know Thy Enemy" value.

UPDATE ON ENVIRONMENTALIST STORY

Just hours after posting the article written by a prominent environmentalist apologizing for all the alarmism, Forbes took it down from the website. It must've alarmed too many people.

CORONAVIRUS UPS AND DOWNS

A number of states are bringing back restrictions and ordering bars closed and restaurant capacities reduced in the face of a sharp rise in the number of COVID-19 (Chinese) coronavirus cases. (Note: I’ve already talked about how increased testing results in more cases, and even as the case numbers rise, fatalities are falling, which suggests that the virus is not as deadly as initially feared.) This prompted Joe Biden to claim that President Trump has “surrendered” to it. (He also called a reporter a “lying dog face,” but we’ll ignore that.)

Seldom do we see such perfect examples of the left’s habit of accusing others of doing what they have actually done. We don’t need movie theaters to open; the Democrats are doing more than enough projection.

Bar owners were just beginning to try to salvage their businesses, and they’re angrily pointing out that the same politicians who are shutting them down again just recently allowed massive gatherings of people in the streets to protest racism and the police. The officials not only condoned those super-spreader events, they encouraged them, participated in them, and over a thousand alleged “health professionals” signed an open letter claiming that protesting racism (and I’m sure coincidentally harming Trump’s reelection chances) was more important than stopping the virus. Either that, or they believed that the virus was a registered Democrat and would only spread at Trump rally venues and for-profit businesses.

That’s the point at which they flushed away their credibility by politicizing the pandemic. They can impose lockdowns by force, but they can’t force people to believe anything they say from this point on. Nobody wants to admit that the virus is here, it’s already spread far and wide (which is what viruses do), and further lockdowns and contact tracing at this point are likely futile. Politicians also can’t admit that the people are so fed up with them that they’d rather take their chances with the virus than deal with their “solutions” for another minute.

Now, here’s a story that claims the cases are being traced back to parties, not protests (although at least in New York, officials didn’t allow tracers to ask if anyone had attended a protest.)

On the other hand, here’s a chart from Instapundit.com, tracking the case levels in Austin through the opening of stores, restaurants, salons, bars and gyms.

Note that there was only a slight increase and then cases started to fall. But then came all the protests. A week or so later, case numbers took off like a rocket. Here are some similar numbers from Houston that suggest that bars are not the culprit.

And an executive at a Texas ER chain went on record as saying that there are more cases because they’re doing so many more tests and finding people with mild or asymptomatic cases. He says they see thousands of patients a month, and most get antibiotics and a steroid shot and are feeling fine in 3 to 5 days. He also says that hospital discharge planners are under pressure to list COVID-19 as the primary cause of hospitalization because it pays significantly more.

But to listen to Democrats like New York Gov. Andrew “Put all the COVID-19 patients into nursing homes” Cuomo, the problem is that those dumb Republican red state governors let businesses open too soon. The same Governor who threatened lawsuits early on if anyone banned travelers from his virus hotspot state is now requiring quarantines of people coming into New York from other states.

As Kyle Smith at the New York Post points out, Cuomo is taking victory laps over his handling of the virus and trying to spike the ball in the face of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, even though Florida has a bigger population than New York and one-third as many cases. The fatality rate in Florida is 15 per 100,000; in New York, it’s 160 per 100,000.

As for Trump doing nothing, the head of one health care company said he had never seen such a massive, swift and efficient public/private team effort as the White House coronavirus task force, yet Joe Biden claims he would have handled it better. But when Trump was shutting down travel from virus hotspots, Democrats were calling him racist and xenophobic and urging people to continue attending large public events in San Francisco and New York City. They also blame Trump personally for all 124,000 Americans who died from (or more precisely, with) the coronavirus, yet give him zero credit for the difference between 124,000 deaths and the 2.2 million they initially predicted.

Finally, if you’d like a laugh, check out how far the “fact-checkers” at Politifact had to bend over backward to deny Trump’s claim that Biden accused him of racism and xenophobia for cutting off travel from China when the virus first arose. If you can read Biden’s comments and not infer from them that he would’ve left the borders wide open for anybody to come in and sneeze up the place, then you have a reading comprehension problem.

JUST WHAT THEY WANTED

There’s another disease coming out of China’s pig farms that could turn into a second pandemic. At least we know about this one early, which will give our officials time to take care of the most important job of all: coming up with a name for it that doesn’t suggest in any way that it came out of China. I suggest “Arkansas Razorback Fever.”

CONSTANTLY TESTED

Joe Biden raised eyebrows yesterday when a reporter asked about his reported cognitive decline and he denied it, saying he is “constantly tested” for cognitive decline.

It has people asking, “Why do the Democrats think it’s necessary to test him constantly for cognitive decline?” Of course, that doesn’t mean he’s suffering from it. Just like getting an STD test doesn’t mean you’re promiscuous, but if you get one every day, people do start to talk.

TRUTH DOESN'T MATTER

Michigan State University has forced Stephen Hsu to resign from his position as vice president of research and innovation because he quoted Michigan State research that found that police are not more likely to shoot black suspects. Anyone in his position in a modern university should have known that research now starts with deciding what you want to believe and working backwards from there.

Shutting down the Bars is just a CYA moment--The Left is very aware of the number of Guns in Southern Homes and having a Drunk Redneck ( I can associate with the REDNECK Part) Might be a real danger. Why does anyone think the PUSH to abandon the 2nd A. is so high on the Socialist aka Democratic Media list and by fiat their supporters in Congress on BOTH sides of the Aisle? I fear the Media might convince enough of the uninterested, uninformed to not even show up because ONCE again this is going to be a Slam Dunk for the Dim Wits. The Difference between now and 2016 is the media, aka the Joseph Goebbels of Propaganda, still have their collective Knickers twisted so tight around their head the circulation has caused cognitive disfunction from lack of Oxygen. I have actually experienced this phenomenon and for weeks I was basically a walking Zombie. Since they act as if they are still Oxygen Deprived they are like the 2 year old having what we in the south call a " HISSY FIT". they will use every tactic known to man and care not one bit about the Republic! They actually BELIEVE they will SURVIVE the transition to Venezuela or Cuban Status? NOW THAT is REAL IGNORANCE on display for all to see.

First, let me apologize for the length of this. I got it from a friend and it makes sense to me. I would like your opinion!

Chicken pox is a virus. Lots of people have had it, and probably don't think about it much once the initial illness has passed. But it stays in your body and lives there forever, and maybe when you're older, you have debilitatingly painful outbreaks of shingles. You don't just get over this virus in a few weeks, never to have another health effect. We know this because it's been around for years, and has been studied medically for years.
Herpes is also a virus. And once someone has it, it stays in your body and lives there forever, and anytime they get a little run down or stressed-out they're going to have an outbreak. Maybe every time you have a big event coming up (school pictures, job interview, big date) you're going to get a cold sore. For the rest of your life. You don't just get over it in a few weeks. We know this because it's been around for years, and been studied medically for years.
HIV is a virus. It attacks the immune system, and makes the carrier far more vulnerable to other illnesses. It has a list of symptoms and negative health impacts that goes on and on. It was decades before viable treatments were developed that allowed people to live with a reasonable quality of life. Once you have it, it lives in your body forever and there is no cure. Over time, that takes a toll on the body, putting people living with HIV at greater risk for health conditions such as cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, diabetes, bone disease, liver disease, cognitive disorders, and some types of cancer. We know this because it has been around for years, and had been studied medically for years.
Now with COVID-19, we have a novel virus that spreads rapidly and easily. The full spectrum of symptoms and health effects is only just beginning to be cataloged, much less understood.
So far the symptoms may include:
    Fever
    Fatigue
    Coughing
    Pneumonia
    Chills/Trembling
    Acute respiratory distress
    Lung damage (potentially permanent)
Loss of taste (a neurological symptom)
    Sore throat
    Headaches
    Difficulty breathing
    Mental confusion
    Diarrhea
    Nausea or vomiting
    Loss of appetite
Strokes have also been reported in some people who have COVID-19 (even in the relatively young)
    Swollen eyes
    Blood clots
    Seizures
    Liver damage
    Kidney damage
    Rash
    COVID toes (weird, right?)
People testing positive for COVID-19 have been documented to be sick even after 60 days. Many people are sick for weeks, get better, and then experience a rapid and sudden flare up and get sick all over again. A man in Seattle was hospitalized for 62 days, and while well enough to be released, still has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Not to mention a $1.1 million medical bill.
Then there is MIS-C. Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children is a condition where different body parts can become inflamed, including the heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, skin, eyes, or gastrointestinal organs. Children with MIS-C may have a fever and various symptoms, including abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, neck pain, rash, bloodshot eyes, or feeling extra tired. While rare, it has caused deaths.
This disease has not been around for years. It has basically been 6 months. No one knows yet the long-term health effects, or how it may present itself years down the road for people who have been exposed. We literally *do not know* what we do not know.
For those in our society who suggest that people being cautious are cowards, for people who refuse to take even the simplest of precautions to protect themselves and those around them, I want to ask, without hyperbole and in all sincerity:
    How dare you?
How dare you risk the lives of others so cavalierly. How dare you decide for others that they should welcome exposure as "getting it over with", when literally no one knows who will be the lucky "mild symptoms" case, and who may fall ill and die. Because while we know that some people are more susceptible to suffering a more serious case, we also know that 20 and 30 year olds have died, marathon runners and fitness nuts have died, children and infants have died.
How dare you behave as though you know more than medical experts, when those same experts acknowledge that there is so much we don't yet know, but with what we DO know, are smart enough to be scared of how easily this is spread, and recommend baseline precautions such as:
    Frequent hand-washing
    Physical distancing
    Reduced social/public contact or interaction
    Mask wearing
    Covering your cough or sneeze
    Avoiding touching your face
    Sanitizing frequently touched surfaces
The more things we can all do to mitigate our risk of exposure, the better off we all are, in my opinion. Not only does it flatten the curve and allow health care providers to maintain levels of service that aren't immediately and catastrophically overwhelmed; it also reduces unnecessary suffering and deaths, and buys time for the scientific community to study the virus in order to come to a more full understanding of the breadth of its impacts in both the short and long term.
I reject the notion that it's "just a virus" and we'll all get it eventually. What a careless, lazy, heartless stance.

Another great read, thank you. I heard on Tucker's show last night that 2 Republican Senators want to get rid of Columbus Day Holiday & may be replace it with Junenineth (sp?). They want a holiday, then make it June 19 & leave all others alone. This is over the top. I'm truly pissed off. They start with one holiday & one by one eliminate all holidays. These Republicans, if they are, should be ashamed of themselves & they are pandering to the extremist! Sen. Ron Johnson & Langford (Utah?). Just as I've been hearing, were are the Republicans? I will not contribute another dime to this party if they don't start standing up & do the right thing for this country.
On another note, I heard that some states are using the money from the Federal Government for the COVID-19 is being used for other state projects. Is this true? We have a senior home waiting for 3 weeks for testing kits for patients, employees & nurses, etc. There's something wrong with this picture when our Governor says everything is good. Who do you believe these days.
The mayor & governor of Washington should resign for what they let happen in Seattle. They should be sued & they have blood on their hands. My heart goes out to all our police & all responders, God be with them. That is if we have any of them left. How do we change this?

    07/02/2020 07:01 AM

    Governor:
I have been trying to think of why a fair sized minority of all races don't like or trust the police. I spent almost 6 years working with them myself and have the highest respect for what they do every day.
I have come to the conclusion that the way they are depicted on some of our most popular police shows the past two decades has helped our biased and corrupt MSM networks foster this feeling of mistrust and dislike.
    For example:
Chicago PD where our hero Hank and his team break the rules every week, cover up their deeds, even at times killing off a criminal they can't get too. In one recent story line before I quit watching the show, Hank and his team arrest the wrong black suspect. A local black drug dealer has the suspect killed in jail to protect himself. Hank and the team figure it out and let other black drug dealers know so they can murder the real guilty drug dealer.
Of course there are multiple story lines where fellow cops won't snitch on a bad officer because cops don't do that, and Internal Affairs is hated by all.
Blue Bloods where our hero family has lots of issues. Yes they have a family dinner every week where they pray. But the solution to all problems seems to be to sit down with Dad and have a Scotch or Bourbon neat to make everything better. A big focus on story lines center around hot headed Danny who likes to smash suspects heads on tables in the interview room, slam them against walls during arrest and choke them with his forearm, or slam the to the sidewalk or the police cruiser while cuffing them. Then he and the rest of the family gang up on do gooder sister, the DA, who is of course always morally right.
NCIS and its sister series shows our police investigators as mostly upright and by the rules. But who do they go after? Members of our military who are killers, rapist, drug importers, spys, traitors. Gee, what a great military. They also hate to snitch and don't like their own internal affairs people who are suppose to root out the bad apples.
NYPD Blue where all our hero cops slam suspects around on a weekly basis. They also hate Internal Affairs and would never rat out a fellow bad officer.
The Shield, where to even start on this anti hero cop show.
What ever happened to Adam 12, Dragnet, the old version of the FBI??? Where our police did things the right way, had good community relations, and all worked together to get rid of the bad apple cop, not refuse to snitch or hid behind the Police union.
It's no wonder many people have the attitudes they do toward police. Our young people don't seem to be intelligent enough to separate the fiction of these shows with the reality of the real world. The networks are only too happy to keep feeding us these types of shows to do the exact same thing the Universities and High Schools are doing to indoctrinate our children into thinking we are a terrible country.
Based on current events, regardless of race, it seems to be working really well for the Socialist Democratic party and their agenda. I wish you, President Trump, and all the conservative commentators would call the old democratic party by its real current name every time you speak. It is the 'Socialist Democratic Party'.

Because of Jesus Christ I can face tomorrow. I have faith in Him and the infallible Word of the living and true God. The things that are happening around the world and especially in this country do not surprise me because Jesus said these days were coming. So through the power and strength of the Holy Spirit I will just stand back and let God do what He wills. In the meantime, however, I will be going about sharing the Good News to those who are perishing without hope. Everyone needs Jesus and He stands ready to receive, by faith, all who will come to Him. He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Him. Mike, thank You for these newsletters. They put things into perspective and help us see what is going on. God bless you and your staff in the days to come. <><

Mike, Here is another VERY important point. All this time BIG pharma has been covering up natural cures that REALLY do kill and make viruses go away. Everyone who has died from covid-19 was murdered by BIG pharma's coverup of natural cures all because BIG pharma cannot patient anything natural and make GREED buck$ from it. Some days it seems as if the rulers and tyrants have finally taken over and put an END to hope. NOT while my heart still beats!

COGNITIVE DECLINE: Trump/Conservatives need to be careful and respectful as they discuss cognitive decline (Joe Biden). Many American families have lost a loved one to dementia or may now be caring for someone with dementia. We do not want Trump and conservatives to come across as mocking and demeaning someone with cognitive losses. Compassion and protection are the attitudes needed. Why are the Democrats pushing J Biden out there? Someone needs to lead him gently off stage.

Here is the biggest news yet from democrats. The dust storm from Africa was caused by Trump. Any complications from illness or even death are all his fault because he hasn't did anything to stop it. He hasn't ordered resperators nor has he passed out face masks. You should not go to church or dine out during this catastrophy. Rioting, burning your neighbors house or tearing down momuments is ok tho. Bad Trump! I watched Joe Biden when he said "lying dog faced" whatever to that reporter and it really looked like he was having a huge senior moment and flashback to probably what he'd been kidded about (or chastised for) many times since he said it and so thought he was being funny, making a joke. But it came off like a wet blanket. I don't know what you'd call that, but I really think he was trying to kind of tease that guy at first?

Call me defiant, maybe ignorant, or plain hard headed, but today was the first day that the city mayor and county executive have declared that everyone once again must return to wearing the "Marxist Mask" in public places while still practicing "socialist distancing!" I am not wearing one and I found literally everywhere I went, grocery store, restaurant, automobile dealer, insurance agency, and even a law office, about the same number were without masks as before the socialist/democrat edict was issued. (I even saw a policeman without one in the restaurant) Not everyone is buying this Marxist/Lenin type control in Missouri.
