President Obama is beginning his post-presidency the same way he began his presidency: by accepting a prestigious award for dubious reasons. Over the weekend, he was at the Kennedy Library in Boston to accept the Profiles In Courage Award for giving us Obamacare. I don’t know how much courage that took, but admittedly, it does take some superhuman chutzpah to look people in the eye and swear that they can keep their doctor and their insurance policy if they like them when you know that’s a giant load of horseradish.

Obama urged Congress to show “political courage” by not repealing Obamacare, despite the fact that it’s imploding on its own from fleeing insurers and skyrocketing premiums. Personally, considering the unconscionable level of dishonest demagoguery surrounding this issue, or any attempts to reform the DC bureaucracy, I think the real “Profiles in Political Courage” Award should go to anyone in Washington who has the guts to say that a giant government program is a failure and needs to be repealed and replaced.

It does take a lot of courage to accept an award when it is not deserved. Can you say, Nobel Peace Prize. . . Isn't there less peace in the world after 8 years of Obama? The world has never been more dangerous. Remember Hope and Change? During the Obama Administration I hoped for a change in administrations.

Mike Huckabee, you can't handle that history will treat President Obama extremely well, and what will you go down in history as? Governor of Arkansas ?? and FAILED GOP candidate. Don't forget you lost in 2008 and 2016!

Only Obama and his cronies live in this fantasy world that he has done something fantastic for our country.

Like the Cowardly Lion gets a medal of courage in the Wizard of Oz, Obama gets a participation medal of courage in the make believe Reality of Liberals.

Obama is a man without a legacy with nothing to show for his 8 years as POTUS but a case full of undeserved medals.

The real highlight of the bill passing, was the fact that those who voted for it, never even read any of it. They merely took his word for what was in the bill, based on his campaign promises.

At least Mr. Obama actually believed in the importance of achieving healthcare for millions of Americans. It takes chutzpah for the GOP to actually call their plan a healthcare plan. A tax cut for the wealthy would be more appropriate. I'm with the 65% of America who believe in the ACA, wish to keep it, fix it and more importantly expand it. Why are we the only major country on the planet that does not care enough about their citizens to guarantee healthcare? Just like we do military, police and fire protection, education, and more! What's imploding in this country is the exorbitant cost of healthcare and drugs because of the for-profit industry - $600+ a month for insulin, over $6300 a month for MS drugs (that's my monthly cost), thousands for the average cancer treatment. Now explain to me how a family making less tha $75k a year can afford that? And, please don't attempt to defend your fellow GOPer who stated that "no one dies because they don't have health insurance" because that is an outright lie.
