'Justice' Department update: 14 whistleblowers come forward

There’s potentially some very good news in the fight for liberty and against tyranny. The ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, announced Sunday on Trey Gowdy’s Sunday FOX NEWS show that 14 FBI agents have come forward as whistleblowers. “There are lots of good people at the FBI,” he said. “It’s the top that’s the problem.” These rank-and-file agents are saying that what’s going on is “baloney.” They’re talking about the school board issue, Jordan said, and “a whole host of issues.”

Also on Sunday, President Trump, in his words, “respectfully requested” that the ‘Justice’ Department “immediately” return materials they took from Mar-A-Lago during their pre-dawn raid on his home a week ago. He posted on his platform, Truth Social, “Oh great! It has just been learned that the FBI, in its now famous raid of Mar-a-Lago, took boxes of privileged ‘attorney-client’ material, and also “executive privileged material, which they knowingly should not have taken.”

The request specifically cites at least five boxes and another set of documents. I suppose that, if they do return these, the FBI will still be holding on to other items that were noted in a property list they released on Friday: “binders of photos, a handwritten note, a leather-bound box of documents, and an ‘executive grant of clemency’ for longtime aide Roger Stone.”

The ‘Justice’ Department is still maintaining --- and mainstream news is reporting --- that Trump had possessed “classified” documents at Mar-A-Lago, but it seems clear that he, under his authority as President, had declassified them and was keeping them in a secure space on his property guarded by Secret Service agents. Compare this to the way Hillary was treated after putting classified emails –- which she had no authority to declassify –- on her private email server, where they were much less secure and easily hackable.

For the best laugh you’ll have all day, check out this brilliant mash-up video made after then-FBI Director James Comey’s infamous “no reasonable prosecutor” speech on July 5, 2016.

As we’ve reported, legal analyst Andrew C. McCarthy has thought all along that this is really about tying President Trump to January 6, not “classified” documents. Former Attorney General Michael Mukasey concurs with McCarthy.

And now, the NEW YORK POST is reporting that Liz Cheney has a connection with the huge, high-powered Democrat law firm Latham & Watkins, which has represented the DNC, Hillary for America, Michael Sussmann, and many others. They also donate big-time to Democrat candidates. Cheney’s husband Phillip Perry has been with the firm since 2007, though the POST says this has “not been previously known.”

We beg to differ --- this HAS been previously known. In fact, you might have known it yourself if you watched my March 5th HUCKABEE show on TBN. In my opening monologue, Liz and Phillip are right there on the FBI-style “cork board” showing the incestuous connections in our Washington DC sewer. My writer/researcher Laura Ainsworth dug up the connection months ago. Never say we’re not on top of all this! Anyway, enjoy…

Here’s the POST story.

REDSTATE has it, too.

We would clarify that Cheney’s spouse is not one of the attorneys of record for Hunter Biden --- just a partner at THE Democrat powerhouse law firm in DC, the one up to its neck in DNC political garbage. And that is bad enough. Latham & Watkins has another major connection worth mentioning again as well: partner Nicholas McQuaid, who was appointed by Joe Biden on his first day as President to lead the ‘Justice’ Department’s criminal division. That might help explain a lot.

Anyway, McCarthy appeared with Trey Gowdy on FOX NEWS Sunday evening to explain quite clearly why he ties the Mar-A-Lago raid to January 6. (Highly recommended watching; link below.) “This is clearly an open-ended warrant,” he said, “to the point of nearly being a general warrant. It actually enables the FBI, pursuant to the judge’s authorization of the warrant, to retrieve every single scrap of paper, regardless of whether it had anything to do, not only with classified information but with any crime at all, that was generated during the four years of the Trump administration. There’s no restriction on it whatsoever, and what I thought they were up to here was basically trying to do a fishing expedition to see if they could find information that’s relevant to the Capitol riot that might help them make a case arising out of January 6, and, looking at the warrant, I think that’s exactly what it is.”

My first thought was, if they’d do something this drastic to try to find evidence, it must be that they have come up dry so far.

McCarthy also addressed the so-called “procedures” for declassification that some are accusing President Trump of not following, explaining why that complaint is bogus. Here’s the full show.

Law professor Jonathan Turley expressed similar concerns.

Recall that Tuesday of last week, the day after the Mar-A-Lago raid, Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry was approached by three FBI agents who confiscated his personal cell phone while he was traveling with his family. They have since returned the phone –- after no doubt downloading all the information on it –- and have informed him that he isn’t a target of their investigation, but the damage has been done. Perry appeared on SUNDAY MORNING FUTURES to give Maria Bartiromo more details.

The suspicion is that they’re on a fishing expedition for anything they can use to tie President Trump to the riot on January 6. As if that weren’t bad enough, this particular FBI action sure seems to carry the taint of political retaliation. That’s because Perry is chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, which had issued articles of impeachment against Attorney General Merrick Garland over his targeting of parents as “domestic terrorists” for expressing their opinions at school board meetings. “So, yes,” he told Maria, “this might be, again, having the Freedom Caucus, those members, again, bend the knee, submit to the will of the establishment or else.”

Kash Patel was outspoken on Maria Bartiromo’s show, explaining how what’s happening now is tied to the phony “Russiagate” scandal: “Basically the same corrupt FBI government gangsters, the same agents that were involved in Russiagate, the same counterintelligence agents that were involved in making the bad false call in the Hunter Biden laptop, you’re going to see are the same counterintelligence agents that...assisted in the raid of Trump’s home….These agents knowingly break their oath of office and the law, get promotions, and we need to demand their names.”

Of course, we know the names “Auten” and “Thibault,” an outspoken anti-Trumper who was in the position at the FBI of decided who would be investigated and who wouldn’t. We know the upper echelon spearheading Crossfire Hurricane. Now we want the rest. Patel says they’ve broken their oath of office and that the FBI’s current abuse of power is being run “by the same select few of corrupt politicians who are acting as FBI agents.”

Devin Nunes, also on the show, noted that this sleazy political activity was going on before Russiagate. There was the IRS scandal, with Lois Lerner targeting conservatives. Also the gun-running under Fast and Furious, during Obama’s administration. Benghazi and that cover-up. And much more, in what he described as “stair-step” fashion. “Ultimately,” he said, “...this leads to something never done in American history before; you had a President’s home ransacked by the same goons that were involved in all of this.”

Even though the ‘Justice’ Department and FBI deserve criticism, he said, “someone [is] making those calls.” He says the people involved in past shady dealings are now at the DOJ “and at the White House.” The Big Three: Susan Rice, now Biden’s domestic policy adviser; Jake Sullivan, now Biden’s national security adviser; and attorney Lisa Monaco, now deputy attorney general at the DOJ. (Monaco is described by Mark Levin as “the number one Svengali in the Department of Justice,” and Levin can go down the line of several more.) They’ve all just moved up, promoted to the top.

These are the people crafting the narrative that the White House didn’t know about the raid. But as Nunes said, “If you don’t believe the deputy attorney general and the top people at the White House [knew] this, you’ve been living under a rock.”

Patel described how the current regime is hiding material that Trump had designated as “lawfully declassified.” He said, “Congress has a monumental lift ahead of them. Come November, they better start subpoenaing these documents immediately and putting these people before the American public. Merrick Garland and FBI Director Chris Wray have failed in their mission to uphold the law. They have become political hucksters, and they are completely destroying our Constitution and putting on a two-tier system of justice.”

We reported last week that this raid has been called a “textbook” violation of the 4th Amendment. Sunday night, Mark Levin on LIFE, LIBERTY & LEVIN read aloud from the Bill Of Rights, making the point that much of it is currently under attack today –- or ignored, much as the old Soviet constitution was. At the moment, that especially includes the 4th Amendment, which says, “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.” This search warrant --- never mind the shocking way it was carried out --- absolutely violated the 4th Amendment. No wonder the DOJ had to go to a lowly magistrate, a political hack, to sign the warrant. Who else wants to go down in history as having done that?

Levin also cited the 5th Amendment, the “due process” right, that is being violated now in the treatment of many arrested and held without bail on charges of “trespassing” and/or “parading” during the January 6 protest.

He pointed out that the violation of President Trump’s rights isn’t even all that much of a party issue. Trump “scares the hell out of the ruling class, the so-called establishment, in both parties.” “We the people” have to kick them out of Washington, he said. WE have to get the support.

I’ve long observed that the crazed behavior on the left stems from their inability to accept that Trump was the legitimate President. (So how could HE just declassify documents with the wave of his hand?). But it’s much more than that. Trump and his supporters are considered by those who hate him to be subhuman, and thus not worthy of constitutional rights. In their minds, it doesn’t matter what they do to President Trump –- or, by extension, to his supporters –- as long as it keeps him from running for office again and, preferably, results in a perp-walk. The Constitution is out the window. That’s the sickness we’re fighting. This is what they want to see…

When the WASHINGTON POST reported that the FBI search was apparently seeking classified documents about nuclear secrets, all the left and even mainstream media sensationalized that. But what happened to that? We said when the story broke that it smelled suspiciously like a strategic leak of a bogus story to WAPO from the FBI to make their mission sound more acceptable. We should give NBC NEWS credit for reporting Friday that Trump has denied the story and that they’d been unable to independently verify it.

And when Adam Schiff was asked why, if Trump had nuclear secrets at Mar-A-Lago, the feds waited 18 months to retrieve them, he couldn’t answer that question and shifted away from it. He also tried to say that he hadn’t “seen evidence” that Trump had gone through the declassification process. That’s another bogus argument.

Finally, just before Garland came out and gave his statement last week –- you know, the one in which he looked a prisoner in a hostage video –- President Trump allegedly contacted someone at the DOJ to send him a private message. Late Sunday evening, THE NEW YORK TIMES reported that Trump’s message read: “The country is on fire. What can I do to reduce the heat?”

Seems oddly out of character, don’t you think? Is it real? Mike Miller at REDSTATE ponders this story, and we will, too, until the next update.

Iran blames Rushdie for the attack

Author Salman Rushdie is reportedly off the ventilator and talking and joking after extensive surgery due to the brutal knife attack on him, but he has suffered life-changing injuries.

The young New Jersey man, Hadi Matar, who jumped up on stage and attacked Rushdie on camera and in front of a crowd that had to pull him off and subdue him, pleaded not guilty to second degree attempted murder, which certainly stretches the term “not guilty.” Meanwhile, the US media continue to act baffled as to what could possibly be the motive for someone who posted memes on social media sympathetic to radical Shia Islam and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to attack Salman Rushdie. ‘Tis a puzzlement!

Iran denied any link with the attack, but of course, blamed it on Rushdie himself.

And a Tehran newspaper whose editor was appointed by Iran’s Supreme Leader, the Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini, wrote “A thousand bravos…to the brave and dutiful person who attacked the apostate and evil Salman Rushdie in New York...The hand of the man who tore the neck of God’s enemy must be kissed.”

Finally, I am shocked and saddened that it took a full day for the White House to issue any statement about the attack, and when they did, it only made matters worse.

The opening was fine, if cliched: Biden’s Twitter account post said they were praying for his recovery and thanked the first responders. But then it went south, both with what it did and didn’t say.

Didn’t say: not a word about the dangers of radical Islam, or Iran promoting violence and terrorism (Biden’s still trying to woo them into signing a nuclear deal even as they’ve used the flood of oil money he’s created to supercharge their nuclear program to the point where they’re already threatening to nuke New York City), nor did he condemn the Iranian media celebrating the brutal assault. But he (or whoever wrote this) did work in this:

“Salman Rushdie—with his insight into humanity, with his unmatched sense for story, with his refusal to be intimidated or silenced—stands for essential, universal ideals...Truth. Courage. Resilience. The ability to share ideas without fear. These are the building blocks of any free and open society. And today, we reaffirm our commitment to those deeply American values in solidarity with Rushdie and all those who stand for freedom of expression.”

Read the piece at the link above by Robert Spencer at PJ Media, who reminds us that this Administration has declared war on the First Amendment, it’s treated parents who protest at school board meetings as domestic terrorists, colluded with media and social media to silence anyone who criticizes its policies under the veil of “spreading disinformation,” and prosecuted Trump supporting protesters beyond the full extent of the law while ignoring leftists who committed far worse crimes.

I agree, it’s a bedrock American principle that people should feel free to share ideas without fear. So why did a pastor and Special Ops veteran who was planning a protest of the unprecedented raid of President Trump’s home at FBI Headquarters in DC decide to cancel it? Because he received multiple warnings from potential attendees that it was “a trap”: the FBI might infiltrate the protest, instigate violence that they would blame on the protesters, and arrest and prosecute them for it.

These citizens are now planning protests in their hometowns instead. But the very fact that they no longer trust their own government or even feel safe in exercising their First Amendment rights in the very capital of the United States of America shows how badly this President and his Party have violated the trust of the American people and their duty to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I urge every one of you to go to the polls in your hometowns this November and use your freedom of expression to send them a message by kicking as many of them out of office as possible.

The New Neo blog examines the FBI raid on former President Trump’s home and asks why the left in America – Democrat officer holders, media figures and Deep State swamp dwellers – not only hate him with the burning heat of a thousand suns, but also think they can treat him unlike any other President in history has been treated. Their conclusion is the same one I reached long ago and have often talked about: they have never been able to intellectually accept the fact that he really was elected President.

In their fevered minds, it was Hillary’s “turn.” Trump was supposed to be the clown she could easily defeat; that’s why they gave him so much media attention in 2016, to make sure all other candidates were shut out. They were shocked when he turned out to be a great candidate (and Hillary one of the worst ever; self-centered, arrogant, lacking in empathy, all no surprise to anyone from Arkansas) and won. People like him – pro-American, non-establishment outsiders who want to reduce government, drain the swamp and return power to the people – are not only not supposed to win, they think it’s their job to ensure they aren’t allowed to win.

(I got a taste of that in 2008, when I surprised the GOP by rising in the primaries and suddenly found myself attacked as a tax-loving socialist by the Club For Greed set. They didn’t like me saying that just because the economy was great for those on Wall Street, that didn’t mean it was great for working Americans. We saw how right they were when the mortgage meltdown hit just months later. But it didn’t matter to them, since Wall Street got its bailout. Did you?)

From day one, they never accepted that Trump really won, so anything they did to thwart him was, in their twisted minds, fair game. Hillary herself called him an “illegitimate President,” offering no evidence other than a dossier of garbage that the FBI used to lie to judges to get bogus warrants to try to frame him for colluding with Russia, because why not? After all, he’s not REALLY the President.

For years, they accused him of things he wasn’t guilty of, but they clearly were, like trying to institute racism into the government or enacting dictatorial executive orders, or ignoring court rulings, or my favorite: “smashing norms.” Remember how Biden was going to bring back “normality”? Only if staggering incompetence is your idea of Washington normal. Trump never sent the FBI to raid Obama’s house to look for something, anything, to charge him with. But Biden did it to Trump.

So now, we have a “new normal.” I hope the next Republican President respects Biden’s example of the new normality by raiding the University of Delaware, so we can finally see what’s in Biden’s Senate papers that were supposed to be released in 2019, but are still locked away from public view for some reason.

    Mr. Huckabee,

I’m puzzled. Cannot the citizens of this country do something about a rouge person in the Government of the United States? Isn’t there a process known as “recall” which can be taken up by the people?

I mean, I understand we are governed by Representatives. However, aren’t Representatives subject to recall by the citizens, or is that prerogative only available to the elected Representatives? Can we not recall a President or a Congressman? I understand that would be a monumental task, and said person’s office term would probably be completed long before the process culminated, but wouldn’t the results serve as a warning?

Maybe the People would learn how to protect themselves from tyranny. Perhaps we could then PUSH our Representatives to make changes that would expedite the process during these present times when the internet and computers make it possible to vote and count simultaneously.

    Why 60,000+ new IRS agents?
Audit any who complain at School Board/City Council meetings
Audit big contributors to Christian Churches which are socially active
    Got the message?

As long as the right paid off by by Soros Klaus Schwab and the WEF we will see a deeper descent into depravity. Only if all 3 letter agencies defunded and perp walked do we have a chance. Right now Joe is fiddling while Rome burns. What next Second civil war or the French Revolution?

Best comment on the latest tax and spend bill that I have seen, “If as the Biden administration says, inflation is zero, then why did we have to pass the Inflation Reduction Act?”.

The biden Administration is just an anti american government agency driven to destroy the rule of law the constitution and the real american value or just the dream of living a propsperous life the will just to be happy, safe and the freedom that is God given. The sanctuary cities should be getting all the illegal migrants after all, lawlessness is what they stand for the more illegals for these cities will make a better chance of more commerce for their city better for the United States if the sanctuary cities keep all the criminals as the Illegals comply to law allow them into law and order communities. Keep sending the illegals to the sanctuary cities until they can cancel their lawlessness and become lawful.

A friend sent me a funny touched up photo of Merritt Garland dressed up in Melania's clothes with a foot note of him saying that the raid was very productive.
On the lighter side, it seems obvious from the IRS recruiting notices for prospective agents to be willing to use deadly force, the buildup of the IRS arsenal, a recent federal notice to all agencies to be prepared for deadly violence from death threats against the government agencies arising from the Mara Lago raid, that the RAID on President Trump's home, was meant as a pretext to CAUSE an insurrection by the FEDs and their newly forming militia who are itching for a reason to slap our country down under Marshall Law prior to the election while they are concurrently trying to split the Republican vote with a third party and re-instate COVID simultaneously. And now, 14 federal whistleblowers coming forward confirming the traitorous federal scum running things. WHAT SLIME!

Food for thought: What if (since they can't find anything to use against Trump) they're looking for anything Trump could use against them?
