Welcome but unsurprising news

By Mike Huckabee

Georgia State Rep. Vernon Jones announced that he’s switching parties from Democrat to Republican. He said the GOP desperately needs leaders who know how to fight, and after fighting back against the outrage mobs that came after him for daring to say Trump’s policies helped black Americans, he proved he’s one of those.

Sen. Joe Manchin, are you listening?

Larry Correia asks an excellent question

By Mike Huckabee

You might remember Larry Correia as the accountant-turned-novelist whose blog surveyed other forensic accountants, insurance investigators and other fraud experts on their opinion of the 2020 presidential election (the consensus was that if they saw that many red flags in any private business, they’d launch an investigation.)

He has another excellent piece out that asks a simple question that our government leaders might have a hard time answering: Why does the government have thousands of auditors across multiple agencies whose sole job is to examine us with a fine tooth comb to insure we’re following the rules, because they can’t take our word for it…but if we have questions about how they run elections, we’re supposed to accept whatever excuses they give us as the truth, then shut up and go away without looking for ourselves?

Good commentary

By Mike Huckabee

This is a good commentary from RedState.com about what happened in Washington Wednesday and how it’s the sad but inevitable result of a long series of bad decisions, many of them by people who are now trying to claim a moral high ground that they have no right to.

Progressives are pressuring Breyer

By Mike Huckabee

“Progressives” who are still smarting over Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s refusal to retire while Obama was in office are already pressuring liberal Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, 82, to retire so that Joe Biden can replace him with “a young, black woman.” Their claim to be anti-racist would be more convincing if they’d offered a name instead.

Focus Group-Tested Word Alert

By Mike Huckabee

I’ve noticed that anyone who points out that the same Democrats who supported violent leftist protesters who attacked federal buildings are now condemning violent rightwing protesters who attack federal buildings is being accused of “whataboutism.” For those unfamiliar with this word, it’s a made-up term that means “Stop pointing out my hypocrisy.”

Good news for the people of California

By Mike Huckabee

The petition to recall Gov. Gavin Newsom just reached 1 million signatures. They still need nearly half a million more before March 10 to trigger a special election. I have a feeling that won’t be a problem, since people can sign the petition from their homes, and thanks to Newsom, they’ll probably be stuck there with nothing else to do until at least March 10.

The Squad Gets A Promotion

By Mike Huckabee

If you’re wondering what the radical “Squad” members got in exchange for voting for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker, we’ll now have to contend with them being on powerful committees that have direct effect on our lives. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez immediately made it clear that she considers the Democrats’ miniscule majority in the House and tie vote in the Senate to be a mandate to cram a lot of ruinous radical left policies down an unwilling nation’s throat. Yes, this will end well.

Excellent article

By Mike Huckabee

Excellent article from the Federalist (published before Wednesday’s Congressional upheaval), debunking the media outlets that think they’ve “debunked” the notion that there was anything untrustworthy about the November election.

Mike Pence's praiseworthy speech

By Mike Huckabee

When Congress reconvened after yesterday’s shutdown, Vice President Mike Pence made a speech that’s getting praise from both sides. There’s a full transcript here.

Very concerned about the survival of the GOP party after yesterday. One friend always a Republican is planning to never vote again after the Capital incident. Another friend who immigrated from Germany & became a citizen the right way says she will never vote again due to the election irregularities. How many GOP voters feel this way today?

Since the only people after health care workers and essential workers are all over 65, why aren't they using the Medicare database to make appointments for seniors. Many are fragile and signing in online or making multiple phone calls to try and get an appointment is not something they do well. There has got to be a better way, than calling in for hours and then being told there is no more vaccine and, no, you can't make a future appointment. Check the news.

    Cap Hill Riots Not done:
If Antifa is around for 1-20.
    & Far Left goes nuts.

    Cap Hill Security:
Secure outer doors when large rally outside.
    Post sensors near doors
Need a Command Post inside Cap Hill.
    More armed guards X trained
Combined Police Force: Secret Service, Fed Faciliites, Cap Police, DC Police alone.
Or rerun same with Far leftists involved storming Capitol

Yesterday was a dark day in America. But a day that our US Congress and US Senate returned to the task at hand. Now, may Nancy Polocie have peace and not continue to pursue impeachment of our President. There is no need to keep this pot boiled.

If progressives want Breyer to retire shouldn't they be asking Nancy Pelosi 80 years old and Joe Biden 77 to retire?

You are out of touch! Please review what happened at the Capitol on Wednesday. It is obvious that these were BLM and ANTIFA thugs, that Capitol police removed the barriers and escorted them into the building all the way up to the chambers! Then, that is where it all went wrong and someone in the House fired shots through the door and killed this young woman. It is all on video and is apparent to anyone who watches the tapes will know this was a setup! A setup by the Democrats and probably McConnell to interrupt the proceedings so everyone could get off the hook and just move on! The crazed insane Democrats will do anything to regain power! They are destroying America! I watched it from my home and I knew it was rogue paid for actors the second it started! They came in four buses, some said with the FBI , escorted by the police! This was a setup to stop all the world from hearing about the corruption and stealing in our 2020 election and to stop those who were objecting to those States where the voting laws were changed by the Democrat attorneys during Covid shut downs. The Democrats will stop at nothing to get their way! God, Please help our Country! God bless America!

I'm watching the hyper-hypocrisy (I think that is a word as good as Nanny Pelosi's "whataboutism") of the media, and of course Nanny Pelosi. You'd think yesterday's disruption of the Capital building was a major slaughter, but as far as I can learn, the only death came at the hands of a Capitol Police officer (who would have flunked out of my gun-safety course). Zero Firebombs, Zero buildings burned, Zero cars over-turned and torched -pretty close to the "mostly peaceful" rioting that Sleazy Joe was encouraging back in October, when Antifa and Black Thugs Matter were burning Portland and Seattle.

So, Mike Pence delivered a speech praised by both sides? So what? The Republicans in Congress, except for a very few, are no different than the Democrats. They don't represent the American people. Pence proved himself a weak and feckless man who couldn't do the simplest thing to make an effort to verify the election. Good Riddance to him. Nice speech on the way out, but no one leaves Washington DC poorer. I am sure he will be taken care of by those he knelt down to.

You quote James 3-17.18 on making piece this is true it is from the lords on mouth . But also he says stand firm against evil doers and call out evil .also may I add he didn't change the old testament so going to war is not sinful and rising up against government tyranny is not . If it is the preachers that called there congraegations to arms in Concord and Lexington the start of the revolution they were you say hipócrits . And had no right to do so, tyranny is as prevalent today as it was then and our government is becoming a tyrant under Democrats and rhino Republicans. People are fed up and react you say oh me oh my the are slimy thugs. I say bull they are Patriots that are tired of his opresive government of swamp creatures. What happened in DC was the birth pains of what's coming civil war . Read and heed but I doubt you will . George Washington had a prophetic vision and prophecy at valley forge the final part of this prophecy is about to be fulfilled. You can read that if you like the at the library of Congress. We are Patriots that love this country but when we stand up even our own party Cal's us SCUM

I think the same should happen to New York State, get signatures to recall Cuomo, as the next gubernatorial election is November 2022 and if he gets in, we need to get signatures to recall him!

Dear Governor: Yea for the $900 billion in relief for Americans and businesses. The Lord knows we need that relief. BUT. . . this amount is a small portion of the entire spending bill that is to sustain federal government spending through its next fiscal year. The larger portion includes an other worldly amount of waste amounting to taxpayer abuse. How do we find and identify the culprits in government, industry insiders, and lobbyists coupled with their outrageous budget amounts/recipients? Only embarrassment may spare taxpayers of this magnitude of pork. Your friend, Tom
