Last weekend was the second annual “Women’s March,” featuring a lot of profane anti-Trump signs and rants about the rights women have lost, but precious few details about what those might be. Even some older feminists are starting to question the point of recent feminist actions that are actually setting women back in the workplace and that seem based more on leftwing politics than helping women, who are benefiting from the booming Trump economy. It’s especially strange to see so much feminist anger aimed at Republican women when most of the biggest name sexual harassers of the MeToo movement – Harvey Weinstein, Matt Lauer, etc. – have been outspoken liberals and self-proclaimed “male feminists.”

DACA talks

By Mike Huckabee

President Trump is taking flak from Republicans for his suggested DACA compromise that would reportedly offer a pathway to citizenship for up to 1.8 million children of illegal immigrants. That’s understandable, since he ran on a promise not to give citizenship to anyone who came here illegally, which includes even children brought by their parents without any control over the situation. But before Trump’s supporters get too angry, they should take a deep breath and watch the Democrats’ reaction. There’s a good chance they won’t grab this overly-generous offer – and some suspect that might have been the reason Trump offered it. It may not be a real deal, it might just be a rope-a-dope, and his opponents are just dopey enough to hog-tie themselves with it.

While those on the right think Trump is offering to give away the farm, the left is reacting as if he proposed putting Dreamers into Dachau. I’m not exaggerating. Anti-Trump liberals (even the ACLU) immediately began parroting the insane talking point that Trump’s proposal is based on “white supremacy” and is a “legislative burning cross.” No, seriously. Even the House Democratic leader, Nancy Pelosi, claimed that Trump’s offer was “outside the circle of civilized human behavior” and was a campaign to “make America white again.” She said it brought “a tear to the eye of the Statue of Liberty” (I knew Trump made Cory Booker cry "tears of rage," but now even the Statue of Liberty is weeping uncontrollably. Democrats don’t need a DACA bill, they need a Nuedexta prescription).

Huckabee preview

By Mike Huckabee

Pop some corn and call the neighbors, a new episode of “Huckabee” is on TBN tonight! I’ll talk with Florida Rep. Matthew Gaetz, who’s leading the drive to release the classified memo on FBI bias and possible abuse of power in the Clinton and Trump investigations. I’ll also sit down with rockabilly legend Wanda Jackson and (you’ll wanna shave your legs for this) bring you the music of country star Deana Carter. Plus we have more important issues, fun and surprises in store! For info and to find out what channel TBN is on your TV provider, click here:

Trump's first year

By Mike Huckabee

The Heritage Foundation just assessed President Trump’s first year and found he was more successful for advancing conservative values than even President Reagan in his first year. Yet there are still some diehard NeverTrumpers on the right who refuse to believe he’s not a liberal in disguise. If so, it’s a darn good disguise. I suspect that they grudgingly know he’s doing more for conservatism than they ever did, but they just “don’t like the cut of his jib.” Come to think of it, they felt the same way about that Hollywood cowboy, Reagan, too.

Larry Nassar

By Mike Huckabee

The entire USA Gymnastics Board will resign on demand of the US Olympic Committee, after their former doctor Larry Nassar was sentenced to 175 years in prison for molesting young girls. Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman is calling for an independent investigation of both the Committee and the Board to find out how Nasser got away with his crimes for so long.

The recent “MeToo” movement has been receiving some backlash, due to women who seem to be using it for revenge or to harm the careers of men whose actions weren’t really criminal. But Nasser is a perfect example of why standing up and speaking out is long overdue. In handing down the sentence, his (female) judge told him, “You do not deserve to walk outside of a prison ever again." That’s something that every decent person of either sex can agree upon.

One film you might want to see

By Mike Huckabee

If you’re anything like me, this year’s list of Oscar nominees mostly left you cold. But there’s at least one film you might want to make it a point to see. It’s a Kenyan-German co-production that’s up for Best Live Action Short Subject. I know, but it sounds a lot more interesting than anything on the Best Picture list.

I don't think the dems (who are half wits) even realize they are being played. but let's hot tell them. Someone I have read, Wayne Allen Root, I believe said they are and the object of the game is to give them nothing when they refuse to cooperate with the agenda. The left is so dumb they can't go by law. Apparently they think DACA is not subject to law. As for the memo? Look who is running scared? why? They know they will be exposed to the world. No, the statue of liberty is NOT shedding tears. Probably wishing for a sword to slice some libs or a hammer to knock some sense into them. Suggestion Mike: a new name for liberals, The Despicables. Or how about the irrationals? ha, ha!
