Roger Stone Update

January 26, 2019

Since yesterday’s late-breaking bulletin, more details have been released about the seven counts leveled by Special Counsel Robert Mueller against Trump adviser Roger Stone.  There are more details at the link.

https://www.westernjournal.com/roger-stone-indicted-on-multiple-charges-as-part-of-muellers-russia-collusion-probe/

The charges include obstruction, making false statements and trying to get a witness to lie about what he knew about WikiLeaks’ release of DNC emails.  But they do not charge him with conspiring with WikiLeaks or with any Russians.

These charges will give Trump haters more ammunition to say, “Look at all the indictments Mueller is running up against Trump associates!”  On the other hand, they’ll give Trump defenders more ammunition to say, “Look at all the over-changing of felonies for process infractions and unrelated violations that have nothing to do with ‘Russian collusion,’ which was supposed to be the point of this investigation!”

Former Harvard Law Prof. Alan Dershowitz called it a “typical Mueller indictment,” in that it alleges no Russian collusion or any crimes committed before he was appointed, nothing but alleged crimes generated by the investigation itself.

https://pjmedia.com/video/alan-dershowitz-slams-typical-mueller-indictment-says-crimes-generated-by-the-investigation/

Dershowitz said it’s obvious this is designed to put pressure on Stone, who is 66 and would likely die in prison if convicted, to incriminate President Trump.  But so far, Stone has been adamant in denying the charges, which he says are meant to pressure him into bearing false witness against Trump, and he vows to fight them.  Dershowitz also added that the pre-dawn FBI raid on Stone’s Florida home to arrest him was also likely meant to put pressure on him.

That raid is getting as much scrutiny as the charges, and rightly so.  Stone is 66, doesn’t have a current passport, and he told the prosecutors that if he was indicted, he would voluntarily turn himself in.  So why was it necessary to send a pack of armed FBI agents in body armor to launch a pre-dawn raid on his house, pounding on the door to haul him away and ransack his home as if he were John Gotti?  Upon arriving in court, the judge quickly determined that he wasn’t a flight risk and released him on a $250,000 signature bond, which means he didn't even have to put up any money.

I know that anti-Trump liberals revel in any display of legal force against anyone associated with helping to elect Trump, but have they considered the precedent being set by allowing a prosecutor with an unlimited budget and no clear charges to go after American citizens and dig until he finds a crime, then send armed federal agents after them as he were staging the raid on Osama bin Laden?  Do “liberals” really see no problem with that happening in the United States of America?  I wanted Hillary Clinton to face a real FBI investigation, but I wouldn’t want them showing up at 6 a.m. to knock down her door and wave guns around at her family.

And that’s another issue: how can people who want all guns kept in locked safes, and who assure us that having any gun on the scene during a tense situation increases the danger of someone being hurt or killed, condone letting armed agents storm into someone’s house in the middle of the night to serve warrants for nonviolent process crimes against people with no criminal record?

And then there’s the issue of how CNN just happened to have a camera crew staked out and waiting at Stone’s house.

https://www.westernjournal.com/cnn-obtains-footage-fbi-raiding-former-trump-adivser-roger-stones-house/

They claim it wasn’t a leak from the FBI or Mueller’s office; their reporter just has a great nose for news. Since the grand jury met on a Thursday, which was unusual, naturally, he requisitioned a camera crew to spend all night at Stone’s home, just in case.  And that might be true.

Although I have a nose for something else, and that story is making it go off.

I ask the same question over and over, and I know a lot of Americans do the same; how can this continue to happen? What can be done to stop this madness and protect the people being harassed and prosecuted, when the left skate free of everything?! I just don’t understand.

As a citizen I am feeling more and more helpless against the Democrats and the far left. As a Born Again Christian I take courage in Jesus Christ.

I'm so frustrated that we, the people, have no voice. Nothing is more apparent than the corruption in our judicial system. How an assistant ag can tell the president he should fire Comey and turn around an hire a corrupt man like Mueller to investigate, surrounded by anti Trump zealots. All this corruption is ridiculous, and destroying this country. Trump has to be protected by God as these people of Satan have no shame.

Could you please explain why this is allowed to go on? I know a lot of information has come out to show the whole thing was manufactured on lies. Why doesn’t someone take this to federal court to be tossed out? Fruit of the poison tree.

This is the same thing that happened with Flynn and others. Mueller charges these people with process crimes, hoping that they will make up a story of a crime they can charge President Trump with. They're all charged with lying, so even if they make up a story about Trump, it means nothing. The Democrats hope that voters will believe it anyway.
Trump and his associates have been watched since before he was elected; if Trump had done anything truly wrong, they would have known, and would already have kicked him out of office.
It's sad that this is happening, while those who have committed real crimes are said not to be "prosecutable".
It's also sad to see many on the left write gleefully on social media about getting rid of President Trump. They are so full of hate, they don't even see that Trump is doing great things for America, and could do more if the left would stop investigating and obstructing him.

Please prayfully consider if God is calling you for this critical mission. If not you who? My Faith Votes just might be a great starting point.

Why is Mueller getting to continue with this investigation and using tax payers money, destroying lives? Why doesn’t President Trump shut this down and fire Mueller? Enough is enough.

In Wikipedia: "McCarthyism is the practice in the United States of making accusations of subversion or treason without proper regard for evidence. The term refers to U.S. senator Joseph McCarthy (R-Wisconsin) and has its origins in the period in the United States known as the Second Red Scare, lasting from the late 1940s through the 1950s. It was characterized by heightened political repression as well as a campaign spreading fear of Communist influence on American institutions and of espionage by Soviet agents." McCarthyism pales in comparison with Mueller's disregard for evidence and his blackmailing and ruining lives to justify his witch hunt. We now have a new egregious historical replacement for McCarthyism -- Muellerism!

I find it redundant that Hillary, Bill and the Obamas seem to be getting by Scott free when they have done a lot worse than Roger Stone! Why not go after the most corrupt players first and go down from there....we want nothing more than to see Hillary And Obama be indicted now!

Why does this only happen to GOP members? Even Bill Clinton, who lied to the FBI, Congress, the American People, etc. was treated with kid gloves. And even when he was impeached, he was still able to serve out his term as president. There is NO equal justice for all anymore in this Country! Nothing happens to you if you're a Dem, but there is Holy Hell to pay if you're GOP, for mere infractions. How is Weiner not serving time? How is Hillary still never having been indicted for far worse infractions, in fact flat out crimes, including lying to Congress, FBI, destruction of Federal Property, Obstruction of Justice, Collusion/Treason against a sitting president, and all those truly involved in the real scandals that have been exposed. I'm sick & tired of the phrase, let's see what happens! GOP has sat idly by watching their own and supporters suffer by the bogus Mueller investigation, which was simply done to deflect from the real criminals! How long does it take for Equal Justice?? Appoint a 2nd special counsel now and start indicting all these rotten bastards, including Mueller!!

Is there not someone who sees through all the bull and can just put a stop to it, maybe if someone did the same to Hilarie and Obama they would find where all this is truly coming from. I’m just ready for President Trump to be able to do his job and receive the recognition he deserves!

You have heard the drumbeat that Wikileaks is an agent of Russia. I have not seen any fact based proof of that! Just the old scam that if you repeat it enough people will believe it. I seem to recall that Wikileaks has take them to task too in the past but that is being conveniently forgotten by the DemonRATs! The only thing that has not become obvious in the prophesy of Revelation is who is the one world leader, everything else has fell into place. It is going to get much worse before the end!

My anger and disappointment is directed at establishment republicans. Its incomprehensible how they have allowed a corrupt liberal like Mueller to destroy Trump associates and receive a paycheck doing it, while many democrats have committed egregious crimes and not one is under investigation. It's so sad that the president doesn't have his party's full support. He trustingly listens to advisors who in many cases have given him wrong information. For instance, who's lame brain idea was it to suggest Wray for director of the FBI? He's a reinvented Comey. Now, I believe the new AG will not do his job either, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt-until? I have never seen such a useless 2 year investigation that is nothing but a waste of money. What are republicans thinking?

The way the FBI arrested Roger Stone is nothing less than the way the socialistic communist countries operate as police states. Is it not ironic that this so called investigation is to try to link president Trump to Russia a country run by the same procedures displayed on a citizen only accused of a crime. This whole investigation has been no more than an attempt by these so called elite seeking to take over our nation. What was shown in the way Mr Stone was arrested ought to be a real wake up call to all who really love our nation. Question? Where are the voices of outcry of our elected representatives voices concerning this outrages show unnecessary police force ?

The FBI raid is a common prosecutor tactic to get attention, if an elected official, to better chances of reelection or in this case to persuade public opinion that the prosecutor is doing their job in an aggressive way. It does send a strong message to the guilty but only irritation for the innocent.

Mr. Huckabee, how is it possible for CNN to be at the home of Mr Stone at the same time that 6 fully armed FBI agents arrived? Why are people not realizing how closely the FBI works with CNN?

It is getting more and more difficult to remember that I live in the United States of America. How sad this whole situation is.
I will never trust the FBI again. This Mueller ridiculous "investigation" must be put to a stop

Trump should simply tell Stone and any others who are charged with these "process crimes" that, if convicted and sentenced to long prison terms, he will pardon them after, say, 90 days.
