The federal government used the pandemic as an excuse to load up cannons with borrowed money and blast it in all directions (particularly to Democrat cronies and voting blocs), but here’s one place where a big bundle of it landed that you might not know about:

$340 million was taken out of the federally-funded Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund and distributed in the form of $1,000 checks to illegal immigrants. They were supposedly ineligible to receive federal COVID aid, but wherever there’s Democratic leadership, there’s a way to get around the rules that everyone else is expected to follow. Just take the federal funds, put them in a state fund, and distribute it to illegal aliens out of that. 

Yes, they did get the Biden Administration to approve the transfer, which the Economic Policy Innovation Center says means that “the Biden Administration directly subsidized ‘undocumented’ immigration under the guise of COVID-19 pandemic relief.” Another shocking but unsurprising story.
