Georgia fights for life

April 3, 2019

Georgia legislators have passed a bill banning abortion after the baby has a detectable heartbeat, which is around six weeks, unless the pregnancy endangers the mother’s life or poses “substantial and irreversible physical harm” to the mother.

The bill is under furious attack from the pro-abortion movement, particularly from Hollywood.  The Writers Guild  and over 100 liberal actors and comedians so far (there’s a handy alphabetical list at the link) are threatening a boycott of Georgia if it becomes law.  Leaders of pro-abortion states such as Pennsylvania are seeking to cash in on the graves of unborn children by aggressively trying to poach Georgia’s lucrative film business (you stay classy, Pennsylvania Attorney Gen. Josh Shapiro – again, see the link.)

Georgia’s new Republican Gov. Brian Kemp is now in the hot seat, having campaigned on signing the bill but being put under massive economic and public relations pressure to veto it.  Interestingly, Kemp has something in his background that none of his Hollywood critics can claim, that I’m aware of.  Kemp is a former pediatrician, so he understands what’s happening in the womb and what abortion really is (Shapiro wanted to be a pediatrician like his dad but switched to poli-sci and law after flunking a pre-med class; and most of the people on the Hollywood boycott list are just former celebrities.)

Whatever Gov. Kemp decides, there is an important point here that should not be overlooked: the argument these people are making against this law is that a heartbeat begins at six weeks, and that’s before many women know they are pregnant.  They think that’s a reason to allow abortion at that stage.  If they were capable of stepping back and examining what they are saying objectively, they might realize that they are actually making an argument against abortion.

I know that many of the people on that boycott list are parents (Amy Schumer is pregnant now.)  I’m sure they love and cherish their own children. I would like to ask them, when they first heard their child’s heartbeat through an ultrasound, did they yawn, “It’s a meaningless sound from a lump of tissue that it would be fine to shred” or did they feel thrilled and say, “It’s our baby’s heartbeat!”?

Through their own words, they are admitting that a beating heart – the most basic sign of human life – is present in a child in the womb very early on, before the woman even realizes she’s pregnant. That realization should make any compassionate person at least think a little harder about their support for abortion.

If you would champion allowing a baby to be killed after it’s already been born, as we’ve heard from politicians recently in New York and Virginia, then I can see how a heartbeat from the womb might not move you. But if your own heart has been hardened that much, then I wouldn’t be surprised if a child in the womb at six weeks has a more detectable heartbeat than you do.

I don't understand how a government that relies on a tax base, can murder their future taxpayers. It doesn't make sense, and it is murder. No way around it.

The IRS isn''t the ONLY agency that needs to look into the SPLC. How abut DOJ, FBI Treasury? The corruption is coming back to bite them...finally. And not too soon.

I addition to the IRS looking into SPLC, they need to direct their attention to al sharpton and how much in taxes he still owes. People all over the country are hounded, harrassed, having funds absconded, losing homes, etc for far less tax bills than sharpton and I suppose some other big names with big money. Whatever happened to what was touted as an investigation into the clinton foundation/dynasty?

If a woman does not want a child, the time to stop it is at the point of intercourse. By having unprotected intercourse, the woman is running the risk of becoming pregnant,

America Has Been Given But One More Chance With This President To Return To God The Creator And His Ways. America Continues To Follow The NWO Agenda. Biblical Prophecy Is STILL Unfolding EXACTLY As Written. God Is About To Pass Judgement On A Christ Rejecting Nation And World. Oil On Full Church, Our Redemption Draweth Nigh.

I urge everyone planning a vacation to go to Georgia. I applaud them for protecting the helpless unborn. Ignore the immoral Hollywood actors. I am praying for Georgia

    Dear Govenor,
I don’t suppose you are good friends with Joe but here is a note .inwoukd like to send to him:

    Dear Mr. Vice President,
I am an independent leaning conservative. Frankly, I have become disenchanted with most of Congress on both sides. Everything else seems more important than the people’s work. I am writing in hopes this will be seen by you because my observations have been that you are a pretty good man with a conscience. It appears to me that you are just an affectionate older gentleman. I saw nothing salacious or creepy about your demonstrations of affection. Now you know what it is like. Think Kavanaugh! You do realize that it is your own party that is really making a big deal of this. Sure there are some GOP, too but they are just getting back for the meanness of you party. I hope that this might enable you to see how Mean, socialistic, and just plain nasty your party has become. Search your conscience and look at what your party is really standing for these days. How you can continue to associate your self with the DNC is a mystery to me. I can see why you don’t want join the GoP either. How about declaring that you are .independent. Roosevelt and .Kennedy must be turning in their graves. Don’t you like it that minorities are getting ahead with jobs and that the country is enjoying good economics? You party keeps people victims. Think about it.

Rush Limbaugh got it right a few days ago when he said ( his own personal belief) that the slippery slope into the liberal-progressive abyss was inhanced by Roe vs Wade. The devaluation of human life by that decision makes all morality subject to selfish desires and will justify anything according to any supporter of abortion. Truly Satanic!.

Someone has to stand up to this insanity. Abortion is one thing when it is just "a clump of cells" their words not mine, I wouldn't do it then because I believe life begins at conception. But I can understand it, but after 4 months or so when it is a FORMED BABY even if it can't live outside the womb, to me that would be out and out murder. And for people to actually think you could do this UP TILL BIRTH? Are they crazy? Even if you are not religious I would think that just plain morals and common sense would stop this. Stacy Abrams from Georgia called the people trying to stop this EVIL. What??? EVIL is the most aberrant word that I can think of and they are going to apply it to people trying to stop the murder of our children? The bible says in the last days Evil will be called good and good evil. I never thought I would live to see it in my lifetime.

Thank you again, Brother Mike. I love what people say in their comments, especially about your last line. I just want to warn Georgians to google "eavesdropping law" which was passed and signed into law in California. Due to that law a young man named Daniel has been accused of breaking a law. The video he got from a former employee of Planned Parenthood, has been sealed, and there's a gag order. When I go to visit my son in June in the Bay Area, I hope they don't put me in jail for talking about the case. The video shows negotiations for body parts by employees of Planned Parenthood and I think it may be similar to Unplanned. Imagine, too, how the eavesdropping law could shackle law enforcement officers. It says nothing can be revealed without the permission of all those in the video or audio. I think Kamala Harris can be thanked because she was probably Attorney General when this Satanic pact was redacted. California's former governor, Jerry Brown, also signed the law which allows ballot harvesting. That may be why even the Republicans who were winning suddenly lost after voters (?) were visited in November 2018. If Gov. Kemp thinks this is the only pact with Satan he'd be making, he should talk to some conservatives in California like Ben Shapiro. California's legislators also tried to bankrupt faith-based colleges and universities. I think that was Kevin DeLeon if I'm not mistaken. My son's family lives in California so I of course hope it can be saved but don't let the same curse fall on Georgia. Thanks to Mr. Kirkland. I've said time and again that I know Dr. King would roll over in his grave if he knew what trash the Democrats are selling to his people. May God bless you, Brother Mike, your precious family, and all your loyal supporters.

Many other states need to follow...Can these HOLLYWEIRDS not keep politics out of business...Going to the movies has become way to expensive and we go only once a year (maybe)... to see such films as UNPLANNED, How to train your dragon, the Kirk Cameron films...etc..,We need to make all their LEFTWING crap backfire on them.

Thank you so much for what you said about abortion. Amen. Amen.
From my own heart these women are sickening, and so are the men who insist on them having an abortion.
I pray those who are voting on this bill will stand firm.
I wish Holywood for the most part would go out of business, and they would have a long time ago if everybody had stopped watching the crap like many of us did. I enjoyed the talent, and the movies many years ago when we either learned something from them, or had a good time laughing at the clean humor. Believe me those days are over. I don't want you in Georgia Hollywood.

Thanks for providing the list of signatories. Economic boycott cuts both ways. Please double-check your pediatrician statement...I am unable to verify. Nonetheless, you don't need to be a doctor to understand the abortion procedure and how it inhumanely tortures and kills another life.

I live in GA. and it would be perfectly ok with me if the movie crowd would take their cameras and equipment and go back to Hollywood. How dare they come to my state and tell us what we should do or not to do. We value life more than the money they are saving in taxes by the big tax break we gave them. The unborn child is a gift from God and it is not for sale.

God bless you Mike. Keep exposing these wicked sins and the utter foolishness it represents. The fool hath said in his heart there is no God... and by extension...human life is not sacred. Abortion is murder.

    Hi Governor,
These Hellywood(no typo) actors all think pretty highly of themselves, don't they? They want to curse Georgia for limiting abortion(ban it, I say) but God does not wink and say, you can keep your fame and fortune given by Jehovah Jirah, no, he will take it away for their stand on spilling innocent blood. God may not bless Georgia, since they only seek to limit the taking of innocent blood instead of stopping it, but I doubt He will curse them when they are taking a first step in doing the right thing. Every time Hellywood does something like this I know God will take care of them, in due time.

Have a blessed day, Governor Huckabee. I love your daughter, Sarah. She speaks right up! (like you do).

I live in the south metro Atlanta area, and we are doing just fine here. As a born and bred black Georgian, just like most of us, we cherish life more that anything, thus the reason why our state has been exceedingly blessed, with one of the best economies in the country, and people are moving here in droves, with jobs abundant all around. The movie industry is booming here, primarily with Tyler Perry's studio producing movies and shows, and others are doing just as well. So, IMHO, those Hollywood hippocrites can keep their sorry butts on the west coast, where they belong. If they have Georgia on their minds, the sancitity of life should be as well.

Where did you get the idea that Brian Kemp was a former pediatrician? That's not in his bio. And I never heard that when he was running for governor. He was a businessman, majoring in agriculture, I believe.

On FOX last night the one commentator had it right Georgia should be saying to HOllYWOOD we don't want or need you. If California politicians had their state in order and did not regulate the movie industry out of California

It is so hard for me to believe that people value money more than life, but that seems to be the moral condition of our nation. I hope that you will be writing a new book soon to address all of the depravitiy and nonsense of the liberal left that is determined to get its way, no matter what.
