It just gets worse for the FBI. We knew that Christopher Steele’s Trump/Russia “dossier,” used as “evidence” to make the case for spying on Carter Page (and thus the whole campaign) could not be verified and was essentially fake. Now, guess what else is turning out to be a probable fake?
The infamous “black ledger” used to go after Paul Manafort.
Sarah's future plans
By Mike Huckabee
I must admit that it’s both hilarious and surreal to have so many “experts” claiming to know what my daughter Sarah plans to do next when I’ve told you that not even I know for sure. For instance, Politico claimed she’s “extremely serious” about running for Governor of Arkansas and is already laying the groundwork. It’s a job she’d be great at, I’m sure, but what sources does Politico have that are better than mine? Their story is attributed to a source described as “one of the people who has talked to” her. Well, that’s it: I guess they have me beat!
Politico also notes that Sarah has “made some contacts that could serve as the foundation for a political career” in Arkansas. Wow, there’s some breaking news for you!
For Politico and everyone else who wants to know what Sarah is really thinking and what her future plans might be, be sure to watch this weekend’s edition of “Huckabee” on TBN. Somehow, I’ve managed to land an exclusive interview, which I believe will be the only interview she gives to any media outlet between now and the time when she leaves the White House. That’s this Saturday at 8 and 11 p.m. EST, 7 and 10 CST, only on TBN. To locate your local TBN affiliate, visit us online at https://www.tbn.org/programs/huckabee
"Progressive" = Hate
By Mike Huckabee
For those who think I was overstating the case when I said that today’s “progressive” movement is the home of 100% pure, hate-fueled, judgmental intolerance:
And it gets even worse. (Warning: contains racist language so offensive that only a “woke” leftist is allowed to use it and not be banned from Twitter.)
Remember, these are the same people who are condemning Joe Biden for once being working with segregationist Senators to get things done. It sounds as if these people would feel much more at home on the segregationist side of the fence. Say, come to think of it, they’ve already given us all-black “safe spaces” and graduations at colleges, so they’re well on their way to “progressing” racial issues all the way back to 1950.
Reader sparks clarification on Rikers Island facility
By Mike Huckabee
Rivers Island is not a state-operated facility but a local jail for the New York City area. While I’m sure it has a segregated area with single cells, it is not a maximum security prison.
From the Gov:
Thanks, Thomas; we’ll clarify. Rikers is described as one of the world’s largest “correctional institutions” and is notorious as one of the very worst such facilities. It’s operated by the New York City Department of Correction, not New York State, but many of those who enjoy its bountiful hospitality for a time are inmates from state facilities who are awaiting trial on other charges. They’re transferred in and transferred out. For that reason, it’s not categorized as a prison –- even a “revolving door prison,” ha –- as that term technically applies to facilities in which inmates are there to serve long sentences.

An invitation to AOC
By Mike Huckabee
I try not to comment on every ridiculous, uninformed bubble of babble that drops out of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s mouth because (A.) I’m too nice and (B.) there are only 24 hours in a day. But this one went so far over the line of decency, it deserves widespread public condemnation.
In her zeal to attack our immigration authorities who are forced to deal with an unprecedented crisis at the border created by her own Party’s policies and stubborn refusal to do their job, AOC declared:
“The U.S. is running concentration camps on our southern border and that is exactly what they are… ‘Never Again’ means something…”
Yes, it does mean something. It refers to never again allowing a repeat of the kind of horror represented by the Holocaust, in which 6 million Jews were brutally murdered by the Nazis. When rightly called on this outrageous slander, AOC instead doubled down, suggesting that it's her critics who are ignorant of history:
“And for the shrieking Republicans who don’t know the difference: concentration camps are not the same as death camps. Concentration camps are considered by experts as ‘the mass detention of civilians without trial.’ And that’s exactly what this administration is doing.”
Other news you might have missed...
Hey, wait a minute! I thought that President Trump’s crazy, blundering, volatile, unpredictable foreign trade policy of threatening tariffs against Mexico unless they helped stop the tsunami of illegal immigrants was going to destroy relations with Mexico and spark a trade war?
So far, it’s resulted in Mexico finally taking action to reduce illegal immigration and Trump postponing any tariffs. And on Wednesday, Mexico’s Senate passed Trump’s new USMCA trade deal (US-Mexico-Canada Agreement) that will replace NAFTA by 114-4 with three abstentions. That makes Mexico the first of the three North American nations to pass the bill.
Meanwhile, guess who’s holding it up here?
Maybe Trump should take advantage of his critics labeling him as volatile and unpredictable by denouncing his own trade bill and claiming he hates it now. Then House Democrats would fast track it for passage.
There has been an arrest in the murder of former Arkansas State Sen. Linda Collins-Smith. The suspect is Linda’s friend and former campaign staffer Rebecca O’Donnell.
As I said when the killing was reported on June 4th, I didn’t serve with Linda (she was elected after I left office), but I knew and respected her as a staunch pro-life voice in the Arkansas Legislature. I’m hopeful this arrest will lead to justice and closure for Linda’s family. There are more details at the link, although I’ll warn you that it’s a tragic and disturbing story.
I’m sure you’ve heard about the attempted mass shooting at the Earl Cabell Federal Building in downtown Dallas Monday. The shooter picked the wrong target: he barely got off some shots at the front of the building before the many armed officers and federal agents on the scene started firing back. He ran and later died of his wounds, so he was the only casualty of his attempted assault.
But here is something remarkable that you might not have heard about or seen:
Dallas Morning News photographer Tom Fox happened to be waiting outside the courthouse for a trial to begin when all the drama suddenly went down. Thinking fast and without regard for his own safety, he grabbed an incredible photo of the shooter that captured the panic in his eyes when he realized what a deadly mistake he’d made. This is an unprecedented look directly into the eyes of a would-be mass shooter at the very moment when he realizes it’s all gone south and this is the end.
Last night, President Trump gave a wide-ranging phone interview to Fox News’ Sean Hannity. Here are some highlights of his comments:
And to see video of the entire 45-minute interview, click here:
Trump talked about everything from the economy to the 2016 and 2020 elections to the “unhinged” behavior of House Democrats. In fact, there was so much covered, I won’t comment on it all. You should read the linked recap, or better, take the time to listen to the whole thing.
But one piece of fresh news that deserves note is that Trump claimed a much-discussed Wall Street Journal report that he plans to live-tweet during the Democratic debates was “fake news.” He said it actually never occurred to him, but it’s such a good idea that maybe he’ll make the “fake news” into “correct news” by going ahead and doing it. This could accomplish the impossible: making those fake TV-created reality shows masquerading as "debates" into something worth watching, if only to read Trump's off-the-cuff reactions to them.
