Today's Edition

Mat Staver of the Liberty Counsel, who has guested on “Huckabee” on TBN, blasted Planned Parenthood as a “despicable organization” on news of its plans to spend $45 million pushing pro-abortion candidates in the 2020 elections.

Despite Republican promises to defund Planned Parenthood, it still got a record $617 million in taxpayer money last year, a 9% increase over the previous year. Meanwhile, as the total number of abortions in the US fell, PP performed a record number of them: over 345,000 in 2018-19, according to its own annual report. Let’s hope that President Trump’s executive order to block federal funding for clinics that perform abortions cuts that taxpayer support. But PP and the ACLU brag that they’ve been able to use lawsuits and friendly judges to defeat or delay 70% of the more than 300 state bills to restrict abortion introduced in 2019.

Now, you might be thinking, “How can Planned Parenthood spend $45 million to push pro-abortion candidates? Aside from all their poor-mouthing about not having enough funds to provide 'vital women’s health services' (which they barely do), isn’t PP a 501(c)(3) non-profit?”

Why, yes, it is. And here’s what the legal advice site has to say about those:

Reader asks: How to help Michael Flynn?

By Mike Huckabee

From Dow H:

Does Flynn need funding now? Is there a way to donate to help him out? A little bit from a lot of concerned citizens to defend and fund this patriot would be worth advertising. I have been amazed at how much Flynn was pivotal in exposing the illegal acts by our government under the Obama administration. Without his integrity and commitment to stand up against criminal acts, I doubt we would have ever known about the FISA problem, or the NSA contractors.

From the Gov:

Thanks, Dow. From what I’ve read, Flynn saw his new job as Trump’s national security adviser as an opportunity to clean up the abuses and inefficiencies that had plaguing the intel community. He was instrumental in calling attention to them. That appears to be one of the reasons he was targeted. (Another was his strong opposition to Obama’s Iran deal.) How sadly ironic that he was taken down through those very tactics.

I don’t know if lead attorney Sidney Powell is working pro bono or not, but even if she is, it’s very expensive to go to trial. There’s clerical staff, research and possibly investigative help to pay, along with travel and much more. And Flynn's ordeal has been going on for three years.  For information on donating to the Michael T. Flynn Legal Defense Fund, here is their website:

Letting the Cat Out of the Bag: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi slipped up and revealed what “impeachment” is really about by inadvertently channeling her predecessor, Tom “Even though there is no evidence, the seriousness of the charge is what matters” Foley.

Using that criteria, they could’ve impeached Trump for causing the Johnstown Flood in 1889.  But since some of them have already said they plan to keep impeaching him over and over, I probably shouldn’t give them any ideas.

Joe Biden Gaffe Alert, Weekend Edition: Joe Biden claims that as President, his Cabinet will include two “qualified” Latinos, and apparently, he intends for one of them to be “Beto” O’Rourke.

I’m not sure which is the bigger gaffe: thinking that Robert Francis O’Rourke is Latino or that he’s qualified.

The Democrats have only held narrow control of Virginia for a little over a year, and already, they’ve tried to force so many radical leftist, anti-gun, pro-abortion laws onto the people that open rebellion is growing against the state government.  At the link, some food for debate: law professor Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit looks at the history of popular uprisings to overthrow out-of-control state governments to ponder whether the Trump Administration would step in to protect the status quo or just stay hands-off.

And as always, leave it to the conservative humor site The Babylon Been to have the most pointed take on the story:

Brace yourself for an idea so jaw-droppingly idiotic, it could only have come out of an elite, Ivy League university.

Bible Verse of the Day (KJV)

"If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?"

I recently purchased & watched the movie "Unplanned" the true story of Abby Johnson. I have offered the movie to our church & they are interested in showing it. It is beyond my thinking that anyone who professes to be a Christian could favor abortion. But it is also beyond my way of thinking if one is a Christian, why you would vote for the pro-abortion political party- the Democrats! God can & will heal our Nation if His people turn from our sins as a Nation (2 Chronicles 7:14), but Roe vs Wade would have to be overturned as just one of the great sins of our Nation. Legalizing same-sex marriage another great sins of our Nation, etc. For the individual woman who had an abortion(s) they can be forgiven through Jesus Christ & Him alone if they call upon Him for their salvation & forgiveness & I hope many do!

The word "despicable" is but one adjective that only BEGINS to scratch the surface of the kind of abomination abortion is in GOD'S eyes!

I wonder if Planned Parenthood ever talks about the hell some women go through sometimes years AFTER they had an abortion! While at the time some women had the abortion they don't experience feelings of guilt, later on they DO! Some women experience feelings of guilt when they become a Christian....AND..

Years ago, a woman who started a movement against abortion spoke at the church I was attending at the time and she told us how, while in the past...before she got married...she had aborted a number of babies, but, when she got married, and became pregnant, she was decided to KEEP her baby....She then went on to tell us that, during a sonogram she had, when she saw her baby sucking its thumb, she began to weep hysterically BECAUSE....

It was the first time that she realized that what, in the past, she had killed was a REAL baby and not just a piece of protoplasm! It is BECAUSE this woman suffered such profound grief AFTER this realization that she decided she wanted to go around the country pleading with women to not be guilty of the sin SHE had been guilty of and was now paying the price for!

Perhaps more anti abortionists should find women like this woman and have THEM cry out against it!

Mike, how on earth can Christians be forced to unwittingly "support" Planned Parenthood through our tax dollars when we so strongly disagree with their destruction of the unborn. If God is the giver of life and Satan comes to kill and destroy, let's pray that President Trump puts this on the top of the 'to do' list. I believe it was Ronald Reagan that stated that everyone in favor of abortion has already been born.

"....he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?" Just a bit of an issue with that thought. Having received far more 'schooling' in the Marine Corps than I ever acquired in any actual school, Sunday school even, we were advised that 'enemies' are not to be loved only rendered safe as in captured or dead! I fear America's external enemies far less than her 'current internal' enemies. There is Evil in this world, and I don't think God would have us 'love Evil.'
