We’ll also visit “Our Kind of Town” and cap it all off with great music from country superstar Collin Raye.

MY NEW PODCAST
I've been wanting to do a podcast for a while now, so I'm proud to announce The People's Podcast! It's a show about Politics, News, and everything else happening in the world around us. You can find it exclusively on Quake Media, so please subscribe today and I'm excited for you to join me!
TWO EMAILS PER DAY
I am sending the Morning and Evening newsletters to all subscribers until November 10. Each email will have unique content so don't worry about overlapping stories. With so much news before and likely after the Election, I don't want you to miss out on a story during this critical time for our country.
I also hope that you will forward my emails to friends and family looking for news delivered from a conservative point of view. I will tell it like it is, and you can expect me to continue to comment fairly on the good and bad. On November 11, we will return to our normal email delivery.
Here’s the New York Post’s own account of their victory over Twitter censorship.
I wish I could say these social media and search giants are finally developing consciences and realizing that they’ve gone too far and Americans will no longer tolerate their arrogant belief that they get to determine who’s allowed to exercise free speech. But I have a feeling this has a lot more to do with it.
On a related topic, here’s an interesting post from Instapundit by Charles Glasser, reminding us of some of the anonymously or shakily-sourced shaggy dog stories about Trump that the media were only too happy to treat as hard news, before they suddenly did a 180 and started applying strict journalistic standards of verification to any negative stories about Joe Biden.
LAUGHABLE ARGUMENT FOR BIDEN
Of all the ludicrous arguments the Democrats make for electing Joe Biden, the most laughable is that he stands for truth and will restore honesty to the White House (the claim that he’ll restore integrity is a close second.)
As anyone who’s been around Washington for any length of time knows, Joe is famous for telling transparent whoppers. His first Presidential bid imploded when he plagiarized another politician’s speech and even his life story. His standard stump speech is rife with widely-debunked lies about Trump, including the “very fine people” hoax and the garbage claim that Trump called US soldiers “losers and suckers,” refuted even by John Bolton. But Biden’s latest appearance in Florida included some new outrageous lies that betray just how worried Democrats must be about losing that key state.
Stacey Lennox at PJ Media reports that Biden told Latino audiences in Florida that Trump “doesn’t care about Cuban and Venezuelan people,” adding, “Look what he’s doing. He’s sending Cuban Americans back to the dictatorship. He’s sending Venezuelan Americans back to the dictatorship.”
Um…no. Not only is he NOT sending people back to Cuba and Venezuela, but as Lennox notes, “The Trump administration sanctioned Cuba for material support for Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro when he refused to leave office following the vote to oust him legitimately under its constitution.” Trump also recognized opposition leader Juan Guaido as Venezuela’s legitimate president and made him his guest at the last State of the Union Address.
In fact, it was the Obama/Biden Administration that sucked up to Cuba’s communist dictatorship, giving the brutal Castro regime numerous concessions for nothing in return. Trump mostly followed Obama's policies for several years in dealing with the socialist strongman in Venezuela until he got frustrated by the trademark Obama/Biden lack of progress and ratcheted up pressure even more, making Venezuela one of his top foreign policy priorities.
What’s really amazing is that Biden, or his campaign aides, actually think an audience of Cuban- and Venezuelan-Americans won’t know that he’s lying to them about these events, which are probably among their main topics of kitchen table conversation.
Check out the link above for more, and to see again the inspiring video of Cuban-American businessman Maximo Alvarez’s speech that was one of the highlights of the GOP Convention. It’s about the greatness of America and the misleading rhetoric from the left that he fearfully recalls hearing before in his native land before everyone lost their freedom.
CHRISTIANS SHOULDN'T SUPPORT TRUMP?!?
Kylee Zempel at the Federalist takes a closer look at pastor and theologian John Piper’s argument that Christians shouldn’t support Trump, and responds that he’s making an unfair comparison between Trump’s character and Biden’s policies. What we should do instead is compare Trump’s character to Biden’s character, and Trump’s policies to Biden’s policies. When you do that, it’s hardly certain that Biden has the better character, but it’s overwhelmingly clear whose policies Christians should support. And she posits that it’s not crazy for Christians to believe that Trump’s personal sins are less serious than Biden’s policies.
Speaking of Pastor Piper, he announced that he did not and would not sign an advertisement by “Christians Against Trumpism and Political Extremism.” They included his name and those of other faith leaders who’ve criticized the President, allegedly to “thank” them, but the ad design implied they were endorsing the ad.
FYI: That so-called anti-Trump Christian group is actually backed by Stand Up America, a group led by former CIA agent, Biden supporter and notorious Never-Trumper Evan McMullin and his 2016 running mate against Trump, Mindy Finn. The group’s website also endorses a group called “Pro-Life Evangelicals for Biden,” which is as hard for me to imagine as “Mice For the Orkin Man.”
One more of many examples of why campaign ads should be taken with a pillar of salt.
