By Mike Huckabee

Come on, Judge Sullivan; at this point, you’re just embarrassing yourself.

I say this because at the time of this writing, late Wednesday night, Emmet Sullivan, the presiding judge in the Michael Flynn case, still has not complied with the federal appeals court that ordered him to drop the case. What he did was issue a “stay of the current settings” for a hearing already on the calendar and for any further briefings.

The vote was 2-1 from a 3-judge panel of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. I’m not a lawyer, but it seemed to me that even the judge who dissented was doing it based on the timing of their intervention, not the merits of the case itself. But that’s not enough for Judge Sullivan, who, in defying Attorney General Barr’s decision to drop the case, has shown himself to be the very incarnation of Captain Ahab, determined to harpoon the Great White Trump if it sinks him.

(Aside: to show how apt this imagery is for describing TDS, I’ve included this quote from Melville’s MOBY DICK: “...all evil, to crazy Ahab, were visibly personified, and made practically assailable, in Moby Dick. He piled upon the whale’s white hump the sum of all the general rage and hate felt by his whole race from Adam down; and then, as if his chest had been a mortar, he he burst his hot heart’s shell upon it.”)

Anyway, Barr –- who is, after all, the prosecutor –- wants to dismiss the case. The D.C. panel wants to dismiss it. Lord knows Flynn and attorney Sidney Powell want to dismiss it. One would think even the original prosecutors would want the case dismissed, as Powell has amassed a mountain of evidence of their misconduct big enough to send THEM to the hoosgow. It seems the only one still involved who doesn’t want to drop it is Judge Sullivan, and the appeals judges have essentially kicked the ball back to his court. He doesn’t get to exercise his own discretion on whether or not to drop it, but he may choose to continue to stretch this out and have the matter re-heard by the full appeals court.

Project Veritas has released another undercover video, this one allegedly exposing the free speech-crushing leftist bias inside Facebook.

Facebook insider/whistleblower Zach McElroy said, “We are essentially in charge of what gets said and what gets stifled,” and he’s willing to testify to Congress about Facebook’s bias and its algorithm that results in 75-80% of posts selected for review being ones that support Trump or conservative causes.

The video captures Facebook moderators bragging about how they target and sideline conservative posts. One is asked if she deletes every Republican post that comes up, and she replies, “Yes! I don’t give no (bleep)s, I’ll delete it.” As for anti-Trump posts that do violate policy, she said, “You gotta take it down, but I leave it up. If you see something that’s not supposed to be up, it’s probably me.” Another said, “If someone is wearing a MAGA hat, I am going to delete them for terrorism…I think we are all doing that.”

Check out the link to see the Project Veritas video, as well as video of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg testifying under oath to Congress that Facebook doesn’t have any bias, why, “to the contrary, our goal is to be a platform for all ideas.”

He must define “all ideas” the way the New York Times defines “all the news” in its motto, “All the news that’s fit to print.” That is, all the news that fits the leftwing political agenda. If Congress doesn’t change the law to yank Facebook’s protection from lawsuits as a “neutral platform” (HA!), then can we at least see perjury charges brought?

Former Secretary of State John Kerry is warning, in pure defiance of the American tradition of the peaceful transfer of power and acceptance of election results, that if Trump wins in November, there will be “revolution” in the streets. What’s going on now is only a small preview. This is the kind of intimidation tactic you’d expect to hear in a Third World thugocracy.

Since we’re in 2020, this is a suggestion so crazy, it almost has to be true: could the idea of wiretapping incoming National Security Advisor Mike Flynn’s calls with the Russian ambassador, and ludicrously prosecuting him under the Logan Act just for doing his job, have been suggested by Joe Biden because…he saw it on cable reruns of the TV show, “The West Wing”?

Too bad everyone else involved didn’t watch reruns of “The FBI” with Efrem Zimbalist Jr. and learn how they were supposed to do their jobs.

Wednesday, Senate Democrats used the filibuster to block consideration of the GOP bill on police reform. They badmouthed it in offensively hyperbolic terms (Nancy Pelosi using it to blame the murder of George Floyd on Republicans), declared it “unsalvageable,” and ranted that it didn’t go nearly far enough in addressing all the racism and corruption that’s run rampant in big cities run for decades by Democrats (well, they didn’t actually say that part. I just included it for context.)

But why are rich white liberals like Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi so desperate to kill this bill, which was crafted largely by Sen. Tim Scott, one of the few black Senators and someone who has experienced police racial profiling firsthand?

For all their denunciations of the bill and its creators’ motives, it’s actually very similar to the Democratic bill the House came up with, although, of course, it doesn’t go as far in terms of spending or increasing federal power over local policing. Many details are virtually identical, yet the Dems would have us believe that only their bill addresses the problems (created under their jurisdiction – sorry, just adding accurate context again), while the Republican bill is so weak and racist that it’s not even worthy of allowing debate to discuss alterations and amendments.

And this is after the Democrats insisted that the issue is so urgent that a bill MUST be passed before July 4th. So the Republicans offered up a bill with virtually everything they wanted – and they killed it. Why? I thought black lives mattered to them.

Tyler O’Neil at PJ Media has a theory to explain why they’re doing this, and you won’t be surprised to hear that it involves the Democrats thinking that something else matters more than black lives, and that’s election-year politics.

    Governor Huckabee,

I voted for Trump and will do so again in November but feel that he doesn't care whether or not he wins. I am also upset about his taking away Obamacare for those of us who are forced to use it. I never voted for Obama but had to leave a part-time job because Obama's plan caused my employer to drop the insurance I had been getting. I have pre-existing conditions that need to be treated and am horrified that Trump will take away anything affordable. See, I am a teacher who had tenure but unfairly lost my job because of a bunch of lies. It has been 10 years ... and I still don't have a job that will even pay for a living. Please tell President Trump that we desperately need him but that there are a lot of professional white people like me who are suffering in this economy. I would really love the opportunity to talk with you about my concerns here in Georgia!

Gov Huckabee: With regard to BLM: So now the leaders of BLM get to tell everyone else what the statues of Jesus and what stained glass windows in their churches should look like. If that isn't beyond ridiculous, I don't know what is. If I don't like what's in someone else's church, they'd tell me "don't go there," and then they'd tell me where to go (and I'm sure we all know what where refers to.) Bottom line: so now one organization or one group of people is the sole arbiter on what is good and what is bad and gets to tell everyone else how to live their lives? (and down to the most minute detail).

    RE:Trump 2024
I was going to make a pledge and I noticed a "Black Lives Matter" logo near the Kickstarter logo. What is the affiliation with Black Lives Matter and Kickstarter? I am sure that Kickstarter collects a fee for this service and by making a pledge I would be indirectly supporting an entity that I feel is inherently opposed to the values this film espouses.

So, the white people in the House of Representatives voted down a bill written by a black man in the Senate. So shouldn't we all be shouting that all Democrats are RACISTS? Isn't that the new normal?

I know why your PAC contributed to Tommy Tuberville. I am 75 and have always been an Alabama fan. But my choice against Tommy T is because I believe Jeff Sessions did what his conscience told him he must do in recusing himself. I have never known of anything about him that would cause me to question his morals or values. I can't honestly say that about Coach T. Not a put down at all and not a Bama fan being a Bama fan. Just the way I see it.

" reruns of “The FBI” with Efrem Zimbalist Jr. and learn how they were supposed to do their jobs." Hey, Mike, you have this FBI mixed up with 'what was' formerly the 'real FBI.' You know, the one that took on the likes of Baby Faced Nelson, Machinegun Kelley, Dillinger,!

This current iteration of our esteemed, world's most competent, premier law enforcement agency now spends its invaluable resources by sending **15** agents to 'investigate' a 'rope hanging in a NASCAR garage!' All because ONE individual was 'triggered' over this National Security issue that turned out to having NASCAR "Smolleted!"

You do have to wonder how many actual National Security 'Secrets' wandered out the door while these 15 highly valuable agents were preoccupied with America's premier PC event? As ole John Stossel would say, "GIVE ME A BREAK!!"

It seems that Judge Sullivan just wants to keep his mug on the front page. Justice doesn't seem to have anything to do with it. Just like the rioting "protesters", he isn't listening to authority and cares nothing for justice.

    Mr Huckabee,
Am going to keep posting this till it's at least acknowledged. Would be nice if subscribers could react, or even reply, to one another's comments. Am hoping that this idea is NOT, in the homespun words of Sen Kennedy, "dead as fried chicken!" ;-)

It appears to me as tho this Judge Sullivan has created him a neat little "CHOP" jone, somehow, deep in the "halls of justice"?? -- and has barricaded himself with some neat little barricades of resistance while he erects for himself his own "nation of resistance" to all that is American and sane right.
He may continue to do so until the forces of "right" have to go in, storm trooper style and remove HIM!!

Mike, are we living in a alternate universe? What in the world is this rogue federal judge Sullivan trying to prove? Has someone got some dirt on him that they are going to put out if he dismisses the case? What is his personal interest or beef in this case? Personally I think he should be removed from the bench through whatever process necessary. Be it impeachment or whatever. Of course Nasty Nancy Pelosi would never allow that to happen.

What's to be done by those of us who see the downfall of a great government which is being destroyed from within? I know that voting is a strong voice, but what else? I feel outraged that the history that made this country is being torn from the pages of our lives. History is where we learn what was right and what went wrong. It's like being an ostrich and burying your head in the sand and pretend it never happened. Yes, some of our ancestors held human life in disregard. But we cannot change the past, we can only learn from it and make our efforts better for all. Do we have racial disharmoney, yes we do! But we have leaders and their followers wanting to take us so far to the left that is it going to be the downfall of our government.
