Proverbs 3:5

Google's New, Radical Agenda

By Mike Huckabee

Conservative reporter Christopher Rufo, known for his hammering of Critical Race Theory, revealed that he’d obtained a trove of documents from whistleblowers inside Google, detailing how the tech giant forces employees to undergo an extensive “racial reeducation program” pushing such CRT hot buttons as “intersectionality,” “white privilege” and “systemic racism.”

https://www.city-journal.org/a-radical-racial-reeducation-program-at-google?wallit_nosession=1

Naturally, the program includes video conversations with such figures as “1619 Project” editor Nikole Hannah-Jones, who started the idea that all of American history is based on slavery, and “anti-racism” guru Ibram X. Kendi, who claims that even for children as young as three months, “To be raised in the United States, is to be raised to be racist, and to be raised to be racist is to be raised to almost be addicted to racist ideas.” Conveniently, to Kendi, denying that you’re a racist is just proof that you’re a racist: “For me, the heartbeat of racism is denial, and the sound of that denial is ‘I’m not racist.’”

(If I called people who believed this poison “idiots,” and they replied, “I’m not an idiot,” for me, guess what that means.)

Rufo says Google’s program also includes graphics that claim “colorblindness,” “[American] exceptionalism,” “Columbus Day,” “weaponized whiteness,” and “Make America Great Again” are all expressions of “covert white supremacy.” One titled “The White Supremacy Pyramid” claims conservative commentator Ben Shapiro represents a foundation of “white supremacy” and that Donald Trump is moving society on a path toward “mass murder” and “genocide.”

The link has a lot more details about the divisive, anti-American propaganda that Google is allegedly forcing on its employees, some of whom must be uncomfortable with it or they wouldn’t be leaking it to Rufo (sounds as if Google is creating a hostile work environment and making people feel uncomfortable about their race. Say, isn’t that illegal?)

Just as a reminder: DuckDuckGo.com is an excellent browser (they also have a free browser phone app) that doesn’t track you, spy on you or sell your private information like Google, and as far as I know, doesn’t force its employees to endure racist, Marxist brainwashing sessions. (I also like the fact that the welcome mat at their headquarters building reads, “Come Back With a Warrant.”)

But because one of the many wonderful things about America is freedom of choice, there are a rising number of options for other privacy-protecting browsers that you can use instead of Google. Naomi Brockwell is a producer for John Stossel who also makes tech advice videos. She recently posted one on YouTube about the best search engines to protect your privacy. Needless to say, NONE of them are Google. She includes DuckDuckGo and several others you can try, depending on your skills and level of concern about privacy.

Check out her channel for lots more videos on similar subjects, such as the best browsers for protecting your privacy. Instead of further enriching tech giants that exploit you while attacking everything you believe in, why not patronize start-ups that protect your privacy, and that actually love American concepts like open markets, free speech, honest elections and judging people on character instead of skin color?

Debt, Spending and Financial Obligations

By Mike Huckabee

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen issued an ominous warning that unless Congress raises the debt ceiling (a process that normally takes a bit of time), sometime next month, “all available measures and cash on hand” will be fully exhausted and “the United States of America would be unable to meet its obligations for the first time in our history.”

https://www.westernjournal.com/treasury-secretary-comes-forward-truth-us-debt-country-course-devastation-october/

Yellen warned that delaying could “cause serious harm to business and consumer confidence, raise short-term borrowing costs for taxpayers, and negatively impact the credit rating of the United States. A delay that calls into question the federal government’s ability to meet all its obligations would likely cause irreparable damage to the U.S. economy and global financial markets.”

To be honest, I’m not certain how seriously to take this. Those of us who’ve traveled around the Sun enough times remember many occasions when we were told the world would end if Congress didn’t raise the debt limit. Even when the deadline passed and there was a “government shutdown,” it was treated by the media as a catastrophe, but it never really shut down necessary services (and by the way, why are we going trillions into debt for so many unnecessary services?)

Congress usually reaches a “solution,” by which I don’t mean they do anything to get our financial house in order, they just kick the can down the road by raising their own debt limit (try doing that with your credit cards.) So while I agree with Yellen that this is a crisis, I can’t imagine our current Congressional “leaders” taking it seriously enough to do anything real about it. They seem to have adopted the attitude that consequence-free unlimited debt is now reality.

So it’s a toss-up as to which they’ll do first: vote to raise the debt ceiling again, or vote to spend another $3.5 trillion.

Texas: Securing Elections and Protecting Babies

By Mike Huckabee

Elsewhere today, we linked to a Fox News article about precisely what’s in the new Texas election integrity law that Democrats are howling about. But for those who have subscriptions to the Wall Street Journal, this is also worth a read.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/whats-really-in-the-texas-voting-law-elections-republicans-11630533819

The Journal editorial board talks about what’s in the law, but also explains why the hysterical attacks on it as “voter suppression” are ludicrous. For instance, while 24-hour voting is banned, since letting people drop off ballots at 3 a.m. makes fraud easier, in some cases, voting hours are actually expanded. 24-hour voting and drive-in voting are banned (except the latter is okay for disabled people), but they were only allowed for the first time last year due to the pandemic.

The editors also point out that in a previous case in Georgia, when the ACLU argued that expecting people to buy a stamp to mail in their ballots was an “unconstitutional poll tax,” the judges said that “bordered on the frivolous.” I’d say that like most leftists these days, it showed no respect for borders at all.

Just bear in mind that when everything Biden has touched, from the border to the economy, has turned into a blazing dumpster fire, and he’s just surrendered Afghanistan and $85 billion worth of weaponry to the Taliban on the eve of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, while leaving unknown numbers of Americans and allies behind in the process, it’s not surprising that the Democrats are desperate to distract the public with anything else.

I guess, “Look, Texas is securing elections and protecting babies’ lives! GET ‘EM!!” is the best they can come up with.

"Menstruating Persons"

By Mike Huckabee

From the same leftist biological geniuses who gave us the terms “birthing person” and “chestfeeding,” comes a new one from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. In attacking Texas’ new law protecting babies with a fetal heartbeat from abortion, she claimed it was an attack on “menstruating persons.”

https://www.foxnews.com/media/aoc-mocked-term-menstruating-person-describe-women

There was a lot of other baffling gibberish thrown in there, too, and I’ll let Sister Toldjah at Redstate.com try to unwind it all. AOC has gone so far down the rabbit hole of transgender doubletalk that she can’t even bring herself to say “women” for fear of offending non-female “women” so she’s reduced to spewing word salad like “menstruating persons.”

https://redstate.com/sister-toldjah/2021/09/08/aoc-tries-to-further-explain-wacky-menstruating-people-comment-and-i-have-thoughts-n440005

Oh, one bit of biological science that isn’t covered in the article: abortion laws affect pregnant women (sorry, “birthing persons”), and they aren’t menstruating.

"Not the right strategy"

By Mike Huckabee

It takes some people an incredibly long time, but after getting it completely wrong over and over, they are eventually capable of learning. As proof, I offer far-left Portland, Oregon, Mayor Ted Wheeler’s admission that - based on the outcry from the public and the media – allowing armed groups of protesters to battle in the streets and ordering the police to just stand by and do nothing was “not the right strategy.”

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/portland-mayor-police-riot-response-strategy

He added that “Portland is still trying to find the right recipe for handling riots.” Let’s hope this means he’s at least figured out that the recipe shouldn’t involve combining a bunch of explosive ingredients and then just walking away.

How can Yellen even propose at raise in the debt ceiling when the Democrats are spending us into oblivion? biden is currently giving every refugee a $1295 ck and wanting more to settle them into our country. I live with a fixed income and see my costs soaring every time I go to the grocery store or the gas station. I have to determine each expenditure and live within my income would it be too much to ask our government to the same?

In reading your article about AOC's claiming that saving a baby's life was tantamount to attacking it's mother, a "menstruating person", would killing a baby girl, a "pre-menstruating person", not be attacking a defenseless baby in the womb also? As Ronald Reagan once said something like, 'I've noticed that those who are FOR abortion have already been born.' seems apropos for the unthinking, unfeeling and immoral.

Secondly, why waste the ink, typeface and paper on spelling out the twit AOC's name fully? Most everyone knows who you mean by only using her initials.....and cringe anyway. If they do not know what AOC stands for, why abuse them any further by twisting their brains with knowledge of her? While everyone deserves to have a say with their opinions and ideas heard, sometimes, like listening to Biden, Harris, Schumer or Pelosi, what is heard cannot be unheard and it festers, leaving little room for logic or peace. What really hurts is that most of those just mentioned are in line for the presidency and vying for the title of worst president ever.

The Proverbs 3:5 verse today was a perfect response for me to give someone. Thanks!

PLEASE make sure people know this latest ploy by Biden to get people vaccinated is nothing but something big enough to take peoples' minds off Afghanistan.

Gov., thanks for the advice on alternatives for Google. I changed to the DuckDuckGo search engine months ago, as well as the Brave browser on my PC. Unfortunately, on my Chromebook I have to use the Google Browser, (I can't download and replace it with Brave on Chromebook's proprietary operating system) but at least I can use DuckDuckGo as my search engine.

Just Askin' - Who are these "menstruating people" the left is yammering about? I don't think Líl Donny Lemon, or Anderson pooper scooper are menstruating people. That Canadian doofus who wanted his "lady parts" given a brazilian wax job is not menstruating. If you ""follow the science" you will find that the only menstruating people are women. I realize that is a concept a bit too far for most of the leftist spokes weasels, but most Americans get it. And realize this - if you refer to women as 'menstruating people" we are laughing at you.

I used DuckDuckgo until I learned they are not what they say. http://techrights.org/2020/07/02/ddg-privacy-abuser-in-disguise/

From another site, "DuckDuckGo.com - Yet another lefty search engine. DDG has merely partnered with other left-wing sites like Bing, Yahoo, and Wikipedia to produce 'their' search results. A simple "news" tab search for "election" recently turned up article links to CNN, Wash Post, ABC, Politico, CBS, and USA Today in the top 7 results. A simple web search for "Trump" produced left-wing news articles at the top of the page by the same lefty "news" outlets. Not surprisingly, the people at DuckDuckGo are rabid Democrat donors. Use 4conservative.com or qWant.com instead. Use TheLibertyDaily, CitizenFreePress, Populist.press for news aggregator sites."

Well with all the far left craziness I just need to change my name and all documents. Must be Menstruating Person to keep in step with "progress" and show I am now "woke". Imagine a nation of 350 million self- identifying as Menstruating Person. Start of a new trend. Like eating Tide Pods. Probably tastes the same!

Build Back Better a slogan the biden the most bizarre nitwit the oval office has ever housed. Imagine biden a building contractor his foundation of concrete would be on quicksand, Imagine biden a cattle man he would raise his stock in the Jungle among tigers and lions and let them free graze without protection Like he did with Americans in Afgan. brilliant , Imagine biden as an oil producer he would shut down oil pipelines and stop drilling for oil and import oil at a higher cost, biden had a couple of strokes that he never recovered from and the Deep State took advantage of that, biden is a person with brain damage the deep state made him a President Of the United States and programed him with a slogan of Build Back Better, America is back and on track to become a Marxist state. Better ? Not a chance, this nitwit is backwards upside down inside out and full of SHITFF Biden is a waste product for the buyers of the Build Back Better cult. Biden's plan is to make America a Marxist country he doesn't care about children having to live like a refugee he will turning into dust.
