Even if our own federal law enforcement bureaucracy fails to investigate Hillary Clinton, it appears the chief prosecutor of Ukraine might actually do it.

From everything we can tell at this point, Robert Mueller and his team of investigators have found no evidence at all of “collusion” (conspiracy) between then-candidate Donald Trump and the Russians. (We’ve seen much evidence of wrongdoing on the part of the investigators, though. I digress.) But according to THE HILL’s John Solomon, Ukrainian prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko –- their equivalent of our attorney general –- has opened a criminal probe into attempts by a Ukrainian official to interfere in our 2016 election...on behalf of Hillary Clinton.

He has done so because a member of the Ukrainian parliament claims that the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), a man named Artem Sytnyk, was trying to damage Trump’s campaign and help Hillary become President.

With gratitude,

Nunes sues Twitter

By Mike Huckabee

California Rep. Devin Nunes hit Twitter with a $250 million lawsuit for “shadow-banning” conservatives, censoring viewpoints that oppose leftist dogma and ignoring complaints of repeated abusive behavior when it’s coming from liberals against conservatives.

I’m not an attorney, so I can’t comment on the lawsuit’s chances of succeeding, but I’m glad to see Republicans finally fighting back hard against Silicon Valley limousine liberals who think that having created a popular public forum means they have the power to decide what is allowed to be communicated over it.  It’s one thing to remove blatantly abusive or threatening content, but quite another to allow power-mad techies deep in the bowels of Twitter or Facebook to quietly hide posts that challenge their freshman-level socialist views.

Incidentally, does anyone else find it odd that leftists have been crying for over two years about Russia attempting to unfairly influence elections via social media, but they think it’s fine when they try to unfairly influence elections via social media?

There are many more details about the lawsuit and Nunes’ reasons for filing it at this link.  Warning: some of the quotes are pretty vile:

"Seattle Is Dying"

By Mike Huckabee

Radical leftists in Seattle are apparently having embolisms over this powerful news special, “Seattle Is Dying,” which was aired by KOMO-TV. They call that station “Trump TV” (because it’s owned by conservative Sinclair Broadcasting) and put quotation marks around the word “news,” accusing the right-wing media of using this documentary to instill hatred for the poor. According to leftists, this sort of documentary criminalizes poverty. On the contrary, it justifiably implicates leftism itself, for promoting policies that have led to mass homelessness, filth, heartbreaking substance abuse, widespread theft, untreated mental illness, post-apocalyptic stretches of land, and violent crime.

Follow-up to "Seattle Is Dying": Seattle readers agree that it is

By Mike Huckabee

My commentary on “Seattle Is Dying,” a mesmerizing (and maddening) hour-long news special produced by KOMO-TV, brought in many thoughtful letters. Here are a few excerpts from some that came in from people who have lived in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest…

From Kenneth:

My cousin sent me this video, and for someone who grew up in a quiet suburb of Seattle I was totally horrified by what I saw. My sister, who still lives in the Seattle area, is a Democrat, and we very seldom speak because if the subject turns to politics and I even mention the word ‘Trump,’ she goes into a rage of how bad he is and how he is ruining the country.

Google erasing history?!?

By Mike Huckabee

Back in the USSR (not the Beatles song but the actual communist empire that Bernie Sanders seems nostalgic for), people who displeased Joseph Stalin would be erased from history books. Photos would even be altered to remove their images.

If Greenpeace co-founder Patrick Moore, who now outspokenly opposes the radical green movement, is correct in his allegations, Google is helping Greenpeace bring back the Stalinist practice of “disappearing” heretics from history.

I guess we shouldn’t be surprised.  If the left now endorses tearing down monuments, statues and crosses and banning books, plays, movies and TV shows in order to obliterate from history anything that doesn’t conform to their contemporary PC standards, it was only a matter of time before they got around to cleansing the Internet of inconvenient photos…and facts.

More on the Electoral College

By Mike Huckabee

The go-to excuse of the left for wanting to destroy or change every American institution that might keep them from winning an election and ruling without challenge is that these institutions are “racist” and the Founders who created them were racist.  The latest is the claim that the Electoral College was created to protect slavery and slave states.

At the link, something you won’t find in the Democratic Presidential field – an expert on American history – explains that “nothing could be further from the truth.” The real reason -- to protect smaller states from the tyranny of larger states -- is just as valid today as it was then, maybe even more so with so many states moving to give away their Electoral votes to whoever wins the popular vote, even if that candidate isn’t on their state’s ballot.

By the way, there are now 12 states representing 181 electors that have signed onto that deal.  Before it actually has an effect on the 2020 election and sparks a Constitutional crisis, some conservative organization needs to file a legal challenge.  It’s not only an obvious attempt to get around the Constitutional requirements for federal elections, it’s also a violation of equal protection for state legislators to give away their constituents’ right to have a say in the Presidential election to voters in other states.

I thought liberals were the ones who were so worked up about everyone being able to vote and have a say in elections.  Unless you vote the “wrong way,” and then they’ll give your Electoral votes away to New York and California.

Our feel-good Huck’s Hero story of the day

By Mike Huckabee

Our feel-good Huck’s Hero story of the day: how Navy SEAL-turned-Virginia House Delegate John McGuire took up the cause of Vietnam veteran Richard Oulton.  Now, 20 years after his HOA forced him to take down his American flag, and with the support of McGuire and Oulton’s fellow homeowners, Old Glory is flying again.  Read the full story here:

Here are three ways that you can tell you are lazily and cavalierly throwing the term “Nazi” at your political opponents:

1.  When you call President Trump’s son a “Nazi” for defending Chelsea Clinton from the outrageous charge of being responsible for the New Zealand shootings because she condemned anti-Semitism.

2.  When you call anyone a “Nazi” for defending anyone who condemns anti-Semitism.

3.  When you call anyone a “Nazi” who isn’t a Nazi.
