Excellent New Memoir

By Mike Huckabee

Matthew McConaughey has an excellent new memoir out, filled with wise essays about his life, marriage, fatherhood and Christian faith, and advice that you might be surprised would come from a Hollywood star. He’s also become one of the few voices of reason and moderation in Hollywood. And his willingness to reach out and listen to other viewpoints sets him apart in an ocean of lockstep leftist totalitarians.

But of course, in this toxic political climate, being reasonable is a thought crime, and the Twitter warriors are now after him, accusing him of “flirting with the alt-right” just for granting interviews to promote his book with mainstream conservative TV and radio hosts.

In that story, the Daily Beast writer who went after McConaughey insists it’s not a call to “cancel” him. She writes, "The issue with 'cancel culture,' to the extent that one even exists, is not that anyone is, to borrow McConaughey’s neologism, 'illegitimizing' what these guys are saying. The Jordan Petersons and Joe Rogans of the world are not, as they so often complain, being persecuted or, as McConaughey put it in his Russell Howard interview, erased. They’re simply peddling the losing ends of arguments that have already occurred countless times—perpetuating a culture war while simultaneously trying to frame themselves as its victims."

If she’s so sure that, say, Jordan Peterson’s views are “losing arguments,” why is she so terrified of allowing him to make them publicly? Does she fear his “losing arguments” will be more persuasive than her own, which they surely are?

It’s yet another example of what I always hear from the left: “There’s no such thing as ‘cancel culture!’ And anyone who says there is must be CANCELED IMMEDIATELY!!!”

PS – At the risk of drawing even more fire from the left at Matthew McConaughey, here’s a terrific interview that he was gracious enough to have with me recently on “Huckabee.”

"Huckabee " Preview

By Mike Huckabee

If you’re not interested in watching Hollywood stars who’ve spent four years calling you a Nazi put on a show about “unity,” I have a great alternative: a new episode of “Huckabee” tonight on TBN! Prof. Alan Dershowitz will talk about “Impeachment 2,” the only flop that ever got a sequel. WalkAway founder Brandon Straka will reveal how Facebook erased his peaceful “leave the Democrats” movement with no warning or reason (you can find it on CloutHub now, and you have even more reason to walk away.) Doug Bender of “I Am Second” will give us a preview of his inspiring new book. Grammy-nominated musician/actor Frank Stallone will tell us about his award-winning new documentary. And we’ll cap it off with Don McLean and a salute to the 50th anniversary of one of the greatest songs of the 20th Century, “American Pie.”

It all starts tonight at 8 and 11 EST, 7 and 10 CST, and Sunday at 9 EST/8 CST, on TBN. To find out where you can watch TBN, from local cable and broadcast channels to streaming, visit https://www.huckabee.tv and click on “Channel Finder” on the top menu. You can stream previous episodes, highlights and online-only “Digital Exclusives,” including extended interviews, “In Case You Missed It” and “Facts of the Matter” segments, and extra performances by our great musical and comedy guests, all at https://www.huckabee.tv. You can also find past shows, highlights and digital exclusives on YouTube and my Facebook page.

“Is This Really News” Dept

By Mike Huckabee

The New York Times compared President Trump’s claims of election fraud to the “big lies” of Hitler and Stalin.

I don’t take that too seriously because I know the Times doesn’t really believe that Trump is Joseph Stalin. If they did, they would have written positive stories about him.

Biden's Coronavirus Relief Proposal

By Mike Huckabee

This week, Joe Biden released a $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief proposal. It would include another $1400 a person stimulus check, which added to the recent $600 payments would be a total of $2000.

There are more details at the link, but as usual, there’s not much point in getting too bogged down in the details. By the time it gets through the Congressional meat grinder (if it does), it will likely bear scant resemblance to what Biden proposed.

New Study Questions Mandatory Lockdowns

By Mike Huckabee

A new international study of ten nations by a group of Stanford researchers found that the ruinous mandatory lockdowns early in the COVID-19 (Chinese) coronavirus pandemic provided no clear, significant benefits over other voluntary measures, such as social distancing or travel reduction, in any country.

In a related story, with Joe Biden safely on his way to the White House (and although I’m sure it’s just a coincidence), Democrat Governors and Mayors are finally starting to question the wisdom of making their constituents continue suffering from endless business lockdowns.

I’m sure this also has nothing to do with the fact that Biden will be taking office amid a huge jump in unemployment benefit filings, due to the never-ending blue state business shutdowns.

I would like someone to start a count chart of Biden blunders. Number #1 has already occurred and will be extremely costly to our nation. Inviting the caravans to begin again during a pandemic. How ingenious can your policies get. I think #2 might be reengaging on the Paris accords. #3 could be stopping pipeline construction and getting back to energy dependence. #4 Encouraging Iran to accelerate their nuclear ambitions. Biden's course it is like the Titanic, full speed ahead into the iceberg. The guy is beyond being a fool. I feel we are in trouble. jack

I would appreciate a valid explanation of what 'really' happened in this Presidential election and the evidence of fraud. Why has this issue been hid under some rug? Perhaps if the Trump supporters heard the 'truth', things would calm down. We were just put on a shelf and expected to shut up. Not so free, are we?

Everyone questions lockdowns BUT Joe wants to mandates more the 100 days?
    Lockdowns= More virus spread
Less Or NO Lockdowns= No Virus spread, see FL.
    No Unity seen on issue
    More move the goal post
    & we Never Get ahead.
& then we see our DC Occupation force for 1-20?
Is that next IF they cant use virus for control.
    ALL from Marx playbook
Notice how mayors etc Open Up as Biden assumes WH
    ALL planned or No?
Gee imagine the lives ruined since March to date for lockdowns?
Econ costs to the US alone
    Blame Biden & allies for
& side note Twitter wont let Joe use Trumps Twitter followers.

Excellent. I think you have the quote of the year here when you said if the left thought Trump was acting like Stalin, they would have praised him. We are being called upon to accept, move on, look to 2022; but can Constitutional Americans really forget that democracy was savaged until a leftist takeover ousted a duly elected president?

BURNING BRIDGES. President Trump when he was a business man when he split with companies after contracts were completed the companies would not turn on him and go out of their way to help a competitor but that seems to be what happened with his associations with persons President Trump put in office. President Trump probably would not gotten into office without FOX and probably were against Trump from day one but many were very intelligent and believed in President Trump's goals

DC Riots 1-6: Staged, preplanned pre Trump rally.
For more control since the May riots didnt do enough
    & NG force for Occupation?
    Retain for next 4 years?
1-6 riots NOT about Pres Trump BUT control
& media abused speech for more Bad optics.
    Rigged day 1
    Worse than 2017 1-20 riots.
& Biden will issue Mask mandate for Fed facilities & interstate travel
See how many in DC tow line on mask mandates alone

FYI ... for the past 3-4 days most of your twice-daily emails to me have been deposited in my JUNK/SPAM folder despite my having your address in by address book. And I’ve repeatedly rerouted the email to my inbox.

IF the email makes it to my inbox intact, it’s usually of a form that makes it almost impossible to read! Are you aware that you (& others) are being manipulated this way?

I've taken exception lately to some of your references to the events of January 6 and to President Trump. I, however, don't want to just comment when I'm upset. This comment is a compliment. My husband and I watched Huckabee tonight. Your opening monologue was spot on, a good show throughout. We enjoyed all the guests, and the ending was just as good as the beginning!

    Thank you Governor,
It looks like congressional Democrats want a repeat of 2009's slow recovery. Then UI was extended for 99 weeks without a top up. Now they want an extension wit an added $400. Why would the low paid want anything else?
Compounding the work disincentives is the plan for more regulations and more taxes. The Biden, Pelosi, Schumer triumvirate can hike taxes with budget reconciliation.

Question you must ask yourself, where is all this money coming from. Was one of secret deals that Hunter Biden made was that when his father was elected, he would borrow the money from the Chinese in exchange for when it comes due, he will allow the Chinese to take possession of California, Oregon, Washngton State along with TWITTER AND FACEBOOK to be used as collateral.

Will someone please tell me and the rest of the US whree that secret orchard of Money Trees located.. I would like to bring my bushel basket and pick off that tree and invest into U.S. Treasury Bonds, so i collect some of the interest being paid.

You might read this but I truly doubt it. The Lord did say pray for your leaders that they might do God but he also said call out evil and stand against it and leaders are not excluded from this PERIOD

The Left seem to be terrified that morals, truth, and common decency may make a return in this deteriorating country. Otherwise,, why would they fight so hard to destroy any person who dares to promote them publicly?

Similarly, if they had nothing to hide regarding the election, why are they in a near state of madness over allowing anyone, anywhere, to question the absolute fairness of the election, even trying to destroy the senators who were simply asking for ten days to investigate the states in question? Their desperation is glaring.

Seems like, if they have nothing to hide, they would just tell republicans, "Well, you go investigate your little hearts out".
