A bad day for the Biden administration

By Mike Huckabee

There’s an old joke about politicians: “How can you tell when they’re lying?” “Their lips are moving.”

So if you count our highly-politicized top brass military leaders in the same category, it’s impossible to say for sure whether Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley and Gen. Frank McKenzie, head of U.S. Central Command, were lying to the Senate Armed Services Committee on Tuesday, or President Biden has been lying to us. But one thing is certain: both versions we’ve heard of the tragically botched Afghanistan pullout can’t be true.

Going by sheer numbers, the timeline of Taliban advances and the fact that they were testifying under penalty of perjury and supported each other’s stories, I tend to lean toward Tuesday’s Senate version. That is that the Generals did warn Biden not to withdraw from Afghanistan without leaving a few thousand US troops or the Taliban would quickly take over. But Biden ignored them (likely so he could boast of ending the war by the 20th anniversary of 9/11) and pulled out our troops before evacuating our people. The Taliban took over in brutal fashion, stranding an unknown number of Americans and our allies under their control; and Biden lied about not being warned in order to cover up his monumental blunder.

Also adding to the Generals’ credibility is that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin confirmed that “Their input was received by the President and considered by the President for sure.” So Biden can’t blame his terrible decision on his bad hearing.

There was much more to the testimony, including Gen. Milley being called out for leaking to reporters and Sen. Josh Hawley calling on Milley and Austin to resign.

Milley’s testimony also blew away Biden’s claim that his hands were tied by the deal Trump had made (the only Trump policy he felt he couldn’t reverse, apparently.) Milley admitted that the Taliban didn’t abide by Trump’s conditions, so Biden was under no obligation to stick to the deal. Trump himself also had some things to say about that excuse.

Milley also tried to defend himself against the charge that he called China to tell them he’d warn of any attack Trump launched. He denied ever trying to insert himself into the Presidential chain-of-command, but from his testimony, it sounds as if Nancy Pelosi might have. Time for an investigation into her alleged attempt at insurrection yet?

Milley also made it clear that despite Biden’s boasts about ending the war, the war on terror continues...except we’re now in a worse position than we were before, and we’re likely to be hearing from ISIS or al-Qaeda within the next 12-36 months.

That’s just history that Biden failed to learn from coming back to repeat itself. Obama also pulled out of Iraq over electoral politics rather than for strategic reasons, and it created a vacuum that ISIS soon filled. Before we knew it, we were back, only facing something worse.

Here’s a clue as to how bad a day it was for Biden: his longtime colleague, liberal Democrat Sen. Richard Blumenthal, blasted Secretary Austin for providing no real response on how many Americans are still stuck in Afghanistan because, Blumenthal said, “Nobody is in charge right now” at the White House. So even Democrats are starting to notice the obvious.

Well, at least Joe Biden's not in charge. And Kamala Harris is too busy ignoring Biden’s border crisis she was put in charge of months ago to deal with Biden’s Afghanistan crisis. That left the White House with only one avenue of defense left against his own Generals contradicting Biden’s story: lie about what he said previously. Unfortunately for press secretary Jen Psaki, when Biden spoke to George Stephanopoulos about Afghanistan back in August, there were cameras rolling and a transcript was made.

Back then, he said that nobody told him to keep troops there “that I can recall.” I suggest that if they’re looking for a believable loophole, they might consider those last four words.

Not surprisingly, Biden’s loyal media allies are trying to find ways to save him and claim that he might not have exactly said what it sounded like he said if you squint at it from just the right angle. But at this point, it’s like trying to put out a four-alarm fire with a wet sponge.

POLL: Do you think General Milley and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin should resign from their positions for the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan?

Remember Alan Jackson in your prayers

By Mike Huckabee

Country music icon Alan Jackson revealed that for ten years, he’s suffered from Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a degenerative nerve disease that has advanced far enough that he now has difficulty keeping his balance when he stands onstage.

Fortunately, he says it’s not deadly, but it is similar to dealing with MS or Parkinson’s. And he’s keeping his sense of humor, joking that it’s ironic he has a disease that’s known as “CMT.”

Read the full story at the link. I think you’ll appreciate his comment about traditional country music and other traditional things that are getting buried these days. And I hope you’ll remember him in your prayers.

New sexual harassment scandal at CNN

By Mike Huckabee

Chris Cuomo isn’t the only sexual harassment headache that CNN would like to avoid talking about. It appears that their leftwing anchor Don Lemon may be in court in January, facing a sexual assault lawsuit. The details are at the link, but even though the dirty words are censored, I warn you, it’s still an image you might prefer not to have in your head.

Team Biden can't give up on this fake news

By Mike Huckabee

Even after the “whipping migrants” accusation against horseback Border Patrol agents has been exposed as fake news, and even after some liberal media outlets are backing away from it, the Biden White House continues to…well…whip this dead horse.

But when the media talked to everyday people along the border in Del Rio, Texas, if they were looking for condemnations of the Border Patrol, they were sniffing up the wrong tree. They didn’t fall for the hoax in the slightest.

It’s worth noting that every one of these everyday working people, from the taco stand to the hardware store, has more wisdom and judgment than the President of the United States.

From Christine D:

Re.: More Election Audit Fallout

Brilliant! Thank you for candidly covering the Maricopa County Presidential audit. Since we can no longer count on major network news (including the one that falsely claims to be "Fair, Balanced and Unafraid"), your clear eyed assessment is so greatly needed and appreciated. Dan Bongino's voice is important and widely received, but he is just recently addressing this issue. Thank you for your history of covering this and other topics of immense concern as they occur.

From Joy B.:

Thanks for responding to Howard A.'s snarky and self-congratulatory note. He obviously doesn't read your newsletter regularly, or he would know that you and your awesome staff never post anything you haven't vetted, or certainly not without disclaimers as in that post, and if something does get by you, you own up to it. Bravo to the Huckabee staff, and Howard? Next time, pay more attention.

So sorry to hear about Alan Jacksons problem. I remember the first time I heard him on the radio. I thought, he is going to make it big, and he did. I have most of his CD's and he is one of the greats. Thank you Mike for telling us about this.

    Governor Huckabee:
I understand Captain Sam Brown might soon be a guest or Huck's Hero on your TV show, this
is great news, you will love this man as he is a living example of courage.

On the note of Milley, Austin, and Pelosi, all need to go. The general needs to retire and someone needs to fire Austin and Nasty Nancy.......she has way to much power. We would hate to see her in the WH if Biden and Kamala are ousted also.

    Keep up the great work..............
    hugs and regards,

Mark Milley took all necessary steps and plans to block any military action against China by President Trump BUT he acted like a little pussy-cat when Biden made that disastrous move in Afganistan

Donald Trump's failed reelection was a product of the "Deep State" this syndicate is so powerful and connected with all sectors of Government, huge Corporations, and the Congress that has members over 20 years of office time are a part of this; all corrupt and with a lot of power to have elected a pair of low life people with biden and harris's character is unimaginable to the most powerful office on this hemisphere is without merit or intellect. It is criminal, Donald Trump in 2019 had this country on track to become the best country this planet has ever had. The Deep State was not going to let that happen it was NOT going to be replaced by the best operating country in the worlds history. The best feeling for me was watching the growth of this country after Obama had ruined the country, today I see the corrupt leadership in every agency this government has today is the worse feeling, as the corrosive leadership weakens this country and its people teaching our young to hate really leaves old people like me without a country, to wonder what will my grandchildren will have after I am gone; that is what haunts me today and it is the worst feeling. So forgive ME Lord for what my thoughts are today I do leave the future of the Grandchildren in your hands. I will finish out my days as it were 2019.

I realize this comment of mine doesn't have anything to do with the subject of today's news, however, I was made aware of a Bible verse just yesterday that is revelatory: Psalm 109. In it David prays to God to remove David's enemies and have them replaced by someone else. This got me to thinking about Sorry Joe, and this is the conclusion I came to. How can I castigate a man who, in reality, has no idea where he is, what he's doing, or where he's going? He's a sick man, as are so many other men and women who suffer with the same malady. No wonder he bows his head in confusion; no wonder he has notes to remind him of what he's supposed to say; no wonder he gets lost on his way back to his office; no wonder he can't remember anything from day-to-day or hour-to-hour. He should be in a facility where he can be taken care of like any other grandfather who struggles with the same issues. To realize that his wife, of all people, is contributing to his downfall just so she can bask in the limelight of First Lady is the most reprehensible action I've ever witnessed. So, now I've stopped belaboring him in my thoughts and have decided to pray for his early release from this Hell he's living in. He's not responsible for his actions, others are...and we all know who THEY are.

I hope you or your staff watched Tucker tonight. He gave the page number of the crazy bill that says companies will be charged $750,000 per unvaxed employees. Also sent time on the firing of hospital employees.
