Pelosi takes it back

May 20, 2019

Did you think that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her fellow Democrats had spent the past year or so claiming that there was no crisis at our southern border?  Well, how wrong you are!  Maybe you thought you heard them say the phrase “manufactured crisis” so many times that they must be getting a royalty every time it’s mentioned, but no: they never called it a crisis.  Who are you gonna believe: Nancy Pelosi or your lyin’ ears?

Granted, she phrased it this way for maximum obfuscation: “We have never not said that there was a crisis.” But using the rule that a double negative adds up to a positive,  I assume that in plain English, that means they’ve always said there was a crisis.  Which they did not, never.

Naturally, she can’t simply admit they were denying it because Trump said there was, and they have to take up a contrary position to Trump on everything until it become untenable.  If he said that water is wet, they’d disagree with him up until the moment before they drowned in the stuff.  But she had to add a caveat that somehow puts the onus back on Trump:

Democrats always said there was a “humanitarian crisis,” which is Trump’s fault because of that evil family separation policy.  Actually, there’s a crisis because more people are pouring across the border than we can handle, and they’re bringing children with them because they’ve heard that if they do, they’ll be turned loose on the US side instead of being sent back, which is a stupid and dangerous policy that Trump inherited.  Also, the reason for separating the children from adults was for their own protection: we don’t want to put children in with adult detainees who might be violent criminals or sexual predators, plus we can’t be sure that the people claiming to be their parents aren’t really coyotes sneaking then in or criminals using them as cover.

Don’t buy that?  Earlier this month in McAllen and El Paso, Texas, ICE ran a pilot program of DNA testing of asylum applicants for a few days.  It found that nearly a third of them were not actually related in any way to the children they were claiming were theirs.

I eagerly await Speaker Pelosi’s explanation for why this is President Trump’s fault, and how cruel it is to snatch children out of the arms of the strangers who are exploiting them, and how the Democrats never did not say that wasn’t happening.

It really makes no difference that the stupid dems got woke finally. They still won’t work by partisan to fix what should have been done ten years ago! And now all my democrat friends will have to back peddle on the no crisis at the border bs also! They’re forcing me to become a I told you so kind of guy now! lol.

Mike you crack me up, don't ever change! My mom is a retired math teacher and my dad is a retired engineer so I can vouch that two negatives = a positive and triple negatives = a negative. Does Nancy P. tell the truth? Ain't, not, no way!

Not only is our lack of a comprehensive (and enforced) immigration policies providing for a humanitarian crisis with a strain on our financial and human resources; illegal drug trafficking; human trafficking......search out photos and videos of major cities showing the countless homeless encampments), the lack of border security and being over-run by illegals (as well as those "released into our society") are beginning to cause major health crisises which are just beginning to emerge.
The new uptick in Measles is just the tip of the iceberg that the media seems comfortable to report.
But there is also the increase incases of thyphoid (garbage, rats, fleas); and hardly any mention of the rise in the usually fatal Candida auris (for which there is no cure) and although this is primarily associated with healthcare facilities...fast becoming a danger on a par with MRSA; then the new rise in fatalities from a new strain of TB....(XDR-T or XDR-TB) which initially looks like a flu bug....but has no treatable cure.
The CDC has many, many articles on the varieties of these from many countries....but....the CDC stats do not appear to show the current picture as they do not "jive" with reports from various large cities in the USA.
Another reason we need secure borders...and...not only in the south.

What has happened to our government when one party (the Democrats) spends the majority of its time and energy violently opposing the other party and engaging the President in bitter skirmishes? This is NOT what they were elected to do. They were elected (hired if you will) to represent their constituents. The actions of Pelosi and a few other bad actors truly reminds me of a scorned mate in a bitter divorce proceeding. I think the old line " Nero fiddles while Rome burns" is very appropriate. These people are more hostile towards Trump and his administration than they are rogue nations that they need to be hostile towards. The whole situation reminds me of first-graders squabbling at recess. As one of "We the People" I am tired of the constant circus and all the clowns. Can't we just get down to dealing with each other in a semi-professional manner for the good of the country? Imagine what this constant squabble looks like to the rest of the world!

Dems & Pelosi fight to protect children forced to come to US and cross into US illegally. Dems, however, fight to kill life in the womb and out of the womb shortly after being born. If fetuses could vote, it wouldn’t be for Dems led by Schumer and Pelosi and politicians who prejudge them with being future criminals.

I have been saying over and over that the Border detention enters should be doing DNA on these so called "families" swamping our borders! I just knew these children were being used to cover the crimnals coming into our country. My other question, what are they doing with these children once they are released into our country? Killing them? Sex trafficking them? Selling them to the pedifiles? What are they doing with them!!!
