I do not take any satisfaction in the misfortune of others. But you at least have to stop and marvel at the divine irony in learning that while the media and Democratic politicians are pillorying President Trump as a racist for tweeting that Rep. Elijah Cummings’ Baltimore district was a dangerous mess, before Trump even sent the tweet, someone was burglarizing Cummings’ house.

President Trump, naturally, took the high road and expressed sympathy. Via Twitter.

-------------------------------

This morning, the Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that the US economy added 164,000 jobs in July, about what economists predicted. Considering how long the expansion has been going on, it’s a remarkably high number of new jobs, showing the continuing strength of the economy.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/articles/u-s-economy-added-164000-new-jobs-july-nominal-average-wages-increased-3-2-percent-past-12-months/

Here are a few more fun facts: Remember how Trump would have needed a magic wand to bring back manufacturing jobs? Since he was elected, the economy has added 523,000 manufacturing jobs, including 157,000 in the past 12 months. Overall, job gains have exceeded 100,000 in 29 of the past 32 months.

As of July, nominal average hourly earnings rose 3.2% over the past 12 months. That makes July the 12th straight month that year-over-year wage gains were at or above 3%. Prior to 2018, nominal average hourly wage gains hadn’t reached 3% since April 2009, over a decade ago.

The unemployment rate remained at 3.7% in July, marking its 17th consecutive month at or below 4%. The African-American unemployment rate remained at 6.0% percent, just above the historic low of 5.9% set in May 2018; and the African-American teen jobless rate dropped to the lowest level since it started being measured in 1972.

Finally, the number of people employed in the US in July was 157,288,000, an all-time record.

In summation, the only Americans who should have a hard time landing a job are the Democrats running to replace Trump.

------------------------------

As the left continue to rail about impeaching Trump, they never actually give any concrete reasons for it. Oh, but “Trump is guilty of all sorts of crimes, the most corrupt Administration ever, the Mueller report lists multiple grounds for impeachment!”

Okay…name them.

“Well, there are just…so many!”

Then name one.

“Racist!”

If you pin them down and force them, sometimes you can get one of two reasons out of them:

(1.) Trump committed “obstruction.” Which he must be pretty lousy at, since Mueller was never fired, Trump gave him unprecedented access to his records and staffers, his witch hunt went on for nearly two years, and he issued a 440-page report that didn’t have to be released, but was. When they say he “obstructed” Mueller, they mean he thought about firing him (which he had an unquestionable right to do), but didn’t. Thinking about something doesn’t mean it happened. There’s something I think about doing every time I see Adam Schiff on TV, but he doesn’t have my footprint on his backside, does he?

(2.) Trump didn’t stop Russian efforts to meddle in the election. Yes, and that wasn’t his job at the time. That happened on President Obama’s watch. The people who were supposed to be watching for that seemed more focused on trying to entangle Trump’s campaign in it than in warning him about it, which they would have done for any other candidate, but to quote Mueller, this was “a unique situation” (they weren’t trying to frame the other candidates.)

Even now, over two years later, Trump’s critics seem more focused on hanging Russian meddling in the 2016 election on Trump than on preventing it happening again in 2020. Fortunately, the Trump Administration is taking that threat more seriously than the last Administration. They’re not only actively working on countering any attempted Russian interference, but also meddling from other miscreants, the most worrisome (and least reported on) being China.

At the link, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo talks to Fox News about how “incredibly focused” on preventing election meddling this Administration is.

If you want to learn more about this subject, and other things of vital importance to America and the world, I’ll be sitting down with Secretary Pompeo for a personal interview tomorrow night on “Huckabee” on TBN. To find out where you can watch that show in your area, as well as see previous episodes and online exclusives, go to https://www.tbn.org/huckabee and click on the “WATCH” menu at the top of your screen.

Continue too report the truth about all of good things President Trump is doing that hardly even gets reported by most all major news media or any Democrat. All of the good thing are so rewarding to hear and understand that does not get reported by the biased and lying news media. Keep it up Mr Huckabee.

The "opioid epidemic" has me somewhat unnerved, there are so many people who don't use opiates who use other drugs but this one drug is getting all of this attention, it's just wrong in my opinion.
Meth kills so many every day and does so much MORE damage to so many people's lives but no attention from the President or anyone else for that matter. What needs to happen for meth to get the attention that opioids are getting.....more deaths, devastation, misery, and sadness. Meth is just as devastating if not more so, if it keeps getting ignored, that's exactly what will happen all the above.

Since I worked 42 years (for just ONE company), I worked quite a number of those years in BC.....(before computers). When they first decided to utilize in oir company....guess who got the job of developing in-house methods of tracking all methods of records....inventory, sales, cost of sales.....etc. Yeah...that was me....and remember....this was BEFORE Microsoft or any other advanced, linked modular systems. So....we had DOS....and eventually a program called Lotus123....and a few others. But...I hated advanced math in school. Did not understand the ourpose of algebra at all.
BUT....I learned to appreciate it...when I learned to program....especially WHY parenthesis are important....it is all about the "order" of how any equation is processed.

SO.....for those of you who are frustrated over today's search system results, I suggest you look up "Boolean Search". Yeah...it still exists...and...it still works! There are several good sites that explain how to limit the built-in algorithms. And you will then understand how to use a few symbols (paranthesis is only one) and utilize certain key words like "and", "not", and a few others to create a limited search link. Of course...anyone who reads this is already reading the Governor's columns...so....already "smarter than average". But...perhaps pass it along to others....and they may actually be able to find some truth without Google, Yahoo, FaceBook, or any of the other leftist algorythms dictating the search results.

And, Governor.....I laughed about the white toaster comment! I also have one......and my advice to people is: never never never design a home with an all white interior....unless you plan to sell it in short order!!!!!
First of all...every little smudge, drip, or spill is visible and results in continuous cleaning!
And over time, some white items (especially plastics) then tend to turn yellowish (is that racist?). Well....it is true....and they cannot be fixed by cleaning!
And......if you happen to live in a forested area...especially with pine trees....never use white siding...and especially TEXTURED white siding....the pitch from the pine trees cling to it. Just more continuous work!

Is our security apparatus also focusing on election meddling by social media? Just a few days ago you quoted an expert that the Google search algorithm during the 2016 election cycle was so slanted toward HRC that it may have swayed over 10 million voters her way. This may not technically qualify as voter fraud, but it certainly is a massive ethical failure.

What about the 2018 elections. Did Google do the same then?

What about social media platforms censoring more and more conservative sites just because their truthful content offends the liberal sensibilities, but do not put out racist or other illegal or unethical content?

Mike Here is an idea for our rat infested cities. Every district needs a tradesman of all trades to run for the top offices in the district (Cummings and your act alikes stay away) voters vote them in you need people that can build; citizens without diplomas get into a trade school learn a trade the city will need demolition experts roads and street repairmen, communication experts so much will be needed contact Ben Carson and get manufacturing to come in on the sites that have been made ready for building. People in urban settings where gangs rule with drugs and crime you need to become an organization along with police to run them out or have them join you in the rebirth of your environment. Get the schools to demand children behave and learn quality values. After a six years as the people see life become better everyone will want to be a part of it that will make it hard for people like Cummings win and ruin your chances at a quality life. People getting rid of people like Cummings is not racist it just common sense once you get a taste of common sense you will want more of it. You ,the people of Urban living will be in control how you live, not a few like you have now. People of the trades get on the ballot!!!!!! Stay honest, everyone will WIN you will not get tired of it!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAGA

Anyone with common sense can figure out the Democrats do not have any Candidates worth while running for President. Americans should not vote for any of them . These Candidates talk a lot . But that’s all it is talk . They are trying to appeal to the people who want things easy and not have to work a job for a living . They want free money and free everything . I’m not willing to be taxed to pay for free loaders .

20 years ago Elijah Cummings said Baltimore was drugs infested but now President Trump said it, he's racist. can we say that Elijah Cummings is racist also. In light of all that surrounding Trump the economy is still booming so let's continue to make America Great!!! The Dems need to stop playing the blame game and come up with solutions to keep this country great.

There is another thing that is bothering me about this whole debacle : I thought that there was something called executive privilege. I should think, with the intense pressure on a president, he or she should be able to feel comfortable having confidential conversations and kicking around ideas with his staff. It is human to go off on occasion and blast something or someone but never take action. Not only should people not be asked about these private conversations but they should actually be prevented from giving them out. It is one thing to vent, and quite another take action. When Kim lobs off his missiles, it would be human to say something like, I’d like to paste that little runt into the ground. Does that mean he hates Koreans? Of course not. You cannot tell me that some of those with TDS have not said thing like, I’d love to stick a shiv in him, does that mean they are setting out to actual kill POTUS, of course not, it’s just venting. This double standard thing has got to go.

well Mike maybe at this point your footprint SHOULD be on Schiff's backside, ha, ha! He deserves it for his lunacy about collusion. I don't think he knows what constitutes collusion or obstruction. I am convinced the MSM has no clue what constitutes obstruction and they supposedly have read the report. And not ONE instance of obstruction is cited in it. Obsession creates lunacy. And it is apparent from the way they talk. The libs are eating themselves. See it with ovomit? Identify politics is backfiring. Gillette's stupidity against men is blowing up in their face and I am laughing. libs are just not very smart in their advertising and seem to e alienating their customer base with increasing regularity. And these clowns want to run the country? 1984 x 2?

When the left blames President Trump for Russian collusion, it reminds me of old lessons, one of which is the communist party plans, which stated, always accuse your opponent of things you are doing you know are wrong. Deflect attention to your opponent and, when they accuse you, it will look like they are covering up. Sounds exactly like what has been going on for the past 3 years.
