Today's Commentary --- ICYMI: The shameful truth about the FBI's "examination" of Hillary's emails -- "Huckabee" preview -- Senator John McCain RIP -- Cable News -- Must-see video -- You might have missed -- Evening Edition - Daily Verse

With so much in the news every day, it’s easy for something earth-shaking to be overlooked, even for those of us not tied to the mainstream media narrative.  On Thursday, I wrote about a breaking story uncovered by Paul Sperry of Real Clear Investigations about the way the FBI dealt with those Hillary emails found (along with lots of porn) on the laptop of Anthony Weiner, former husband of Hillary aide and confidante Huma Abedin, in the months before the 2016 election.  But the story, outrageous as it was, didn’t seem to get traction until Jason Chaffetz did a segment on it for the Laura Ingraham show Thursday night.

Ever since Donald Trump shocked the Democrats by winning in November of 2016, Democrats have espoused a theory that then-FBI Director James Comey hurt Hillary’s chances with the October timing of his “re-opening” of that investigation.  (Of course, they never mention that she wouldn’t have even been a candidate by then if Comey had made her do the perp-walk back in July, but I digress.)  The actual story surrounding those emails is much more insidious.  And it’s no theory.

"Huckabee" preview

By Mike Huckabee

Join me tonight on TBN for a brand new, must-see edition of “Huckabee!” With all the hysteria on cable news this week over the legal issues of former Trump associates, there’s nobody better to help us sort it out than legal analyst Gregg Jarrett, author of the #1 best-selling book in America, “The Russia Hoax.”  With a scary number of young Americans rejecting capitalism for socialism, Dr. Kenneth Barnes, author of “Redeeming Capitalism,” will give us his ideas on how to return capitalism to the moral principles the Founders intended.  On the lighter side, I’ll have some humor and good advice from marriage blogger Sheila Wray Gregoire, author of “To Love, Honor and Vacuum.”  Add some great music from Christian rock superstar Matthew West, plus a hatfull of fun surprises.  It’s all coming your way tonight at 8 and 11 p.m. EST (7 and 10 CST).  For previous shows and a handy channel finder for your local area, visit

Senator John McCain RIP

By Mike Huckabee

Senator John McCain was a courageous warrior who served and suffered for the freedom we all enjoy. I lost the GOP nomination to him in 2008 but we never once had a cross word. After he beat me I campaigned vigorously for him. No regrets. My heart goes out to His family.

Cable news

By Mike Huckabee

Why Cable News Is Now Less Believable Than Pro-Wrestling (And More Combative): Watch Kellyanne Conway and CNN’s Chris Cuomo battle it out over Cuomo’s assertion that President Trump has no integrity, as based on the word of a sleazy lawyer who lied directly to Cuomo when he swore he wasn’t taping their conversation, then he taped it.

Must-see video

By Mike Huckabee

Must-See Video: Conservative comedian/talk host Steven Crowder and his camera crew tricked a trash-talking, Internet “social justice warrior” into meeting face-to-face.  This guy (who signals his tough guy bona fides by using the screen name “Slytherin,” the most fearsome Hogwarts house in the “Harry Potter” children’s book series) has allegedly filled social media with threatening messages, including calling police “pigs,” offering to pay $500 to anyone who would kill an ICE agent, and saying he “wanted a piece of” Crowder.

To convey that “your wish is my command,” Crowder dressed as a genie and surprised him at a Dallas bar to challenge him to a civil discussion and give him a chance to renounce his advocacy of violence and solicitation of murder, or else Crowder would file a police complaint.  The priceless results can be seen at the link. Suffice to say it shows very clearly the stark difference between being a genuine brave warrior and being a loudmouthed keyboard warrior who makes threats from the anonymous safety of the Internet, or who gangs up with others of the same ilk to sneak-attack women, elderly veterans or teenage kids in MAGA caps, all while hiding behind masks and then running away.

With these kind of Antifa gasbags becoming more and more emboldened, Crowder has done a tremendous public service with this video, exposing the cowardly faces behind the bold threats.  Let’s hope he inspires other conservatives to start tracking their planned disruptions on social media so they can be prepared if these weasels masquerading as warriors show up and start anything, pull the masks off their faces and expose them to the world, their families, the police and any future employers.

Antifa is right about one thing: fascism is not to be tolerated in America.  So it’s long past time to stop Antifa’s fascist tactics of violence and intimidation against innocent people just for exercising their rights to free speech and assembly.  As this video shows, it doesn’t take violent retaliation. As with cockroaches, just shining a light on them is enough to make them scatter.

You might have missed

By Mike Huckabee

Facebook and Twitter suspended and removed hundreds of fake accounts that were created by covert operatives of a foreign government in an attempt to influence the 2020 election.  If you haven’t heard much about this in the mainstream media, it might be because these were Iranian hackers pushing fake news and propaganda to harm Donald Trump and promote Bernie Sanders.  You’d think our media outlets would at least report it out of anger that these Iranian hackers were trying to take over their jobs.

Daily Verse

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

I know it is customary to leave RIP statements whenever someone dies, but in the case of McCain, it was well known among the servicemen in Vietnam that he was a traitor. It was recently confirmed to my husband by an ex-POW who was at the Hanoi Hilton with McCain that indeed he was a sellout in order to get better treatment. What a guy.

Mike, you're too much of a gentleman to point out the fact that John "Songbird" McCain was a total scumbag and enemy of America. God Bless.
