If the US House isn’t giving Americans a wake-up call on the dangers of entrusting today’s Democrats with any power over their lives, they should take a look at New Mexico, where I imagine voters are experiencing a serious case of buyer’s remorse.  Democratic Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, who has seldom met a far-left hot button issue she doesn’t support, has been in office for all of four months.  Already, she’s denied there’s a crisis at the border and withdrawn the state National Guard troops, leaving communities overwhelmed with a flood of illegal migrants, she’s under fire from Colorado for busing migrants there, and she’s demanding federal aid to deal with the migrant crisis she previously called a “charade.”

https://www.westernjournal.com/ct/nm-gov-pulled-natl-guard-border-now-begging-help-deal-illegals/

And now, the latest leftist transformation of New Mexico: she’s signed onto a state-level version of the “Green New Deal” which mandates the state get 100% of its energy from renewable sources.  This is now the left hopes to get around Congress’ aversion to this insane bill: by forcing it onto the people blue state-by-blue state.

https://www.westernjournal.com/ct/leftists-now-pushing-gnd-state-level-just-got-1st-victory/

Since 100% renewable energy is impossible, what this really means is crippling the state’s energy industries and destroying jobs, sticking citizens with skyrocketing power bills, and enriching “green energy” companies through crony capitalism at taxpayer expense.

Oh, and did I mention the Governor has approved a big pay raise for her Cabinet and agency heads?

I feel sorry for the people of New Mexico, but I hope they’ve learned their lesson.  Maybe the next time they go to the polls, they won’t say, “Thank you, sir, may I have another?” and fill in the “D” circles again.  In the meantime, the rest of America can look at states like New Mexico, California, New York and Washington and feel relief that as bad as the impeachment-crazed Democrats who’ve taken over the House are, it could be worse.  If they weren’t completely obsessed with attacking Trump 24/7, they might actually pass some of their agenda.

Thank you Mike Huckabee. I love New Mexico and cannot believe what is happening here. Thank you for your support and prayers. Our ranchers near the border are truly suffering and there is no relief for them. Our new Governor is not interested in supporting them as this is rural territory and not a big populace of voters. The abortion issue here has become a crisis although there is a large number of voters that are really fighting and caused the last abortion bill to not pass. Thank God for all these warriors. We appreciate your prayers. Wanda in Albuquerque

The sad part is there are many of us in these states that did not vote for self seeking, narcissistic state crippling, money sucking people like Lujan-Grisham????????

Thank You Mr. Huckabee. I have been in Colorado since the age of 2, except for 7 years as a young adult working in California in the Aerospace Industry until it became impossible for the industry to stay there) I’m 53 as of June 6th. I consider myself a native to Colorado and I am absolutely shocked as to what has/is happening in this beautiful State. My husband and I are Ranchers in the Southeastern part of the State, and our new Governor is ruining my home. I imagine we are being watched closely right now with our RECALL effort set to begin on July 8, 2019. Please pray for our hard working Colorado families. The things being passed are going to hurt so many of us, we work so hard just to maintain the equipment we have, and now our legislators are force feeding electric cars, no more coal, the red flag law, the NPV, oil and gas, etc... Anything and everything that hurts our Agricultural Communities which have already been struggling throughout the past Administrations reign. We cannot afford the heavy regulation that is about to bestow us. Thank You for your time. God Bless you sir, and that Beautiful, intelligent Daughter Sarah.
We have been so blessed with a wonderful life, I pray that we can continue in our beautiful State of Colorado.

As a New Mexican interested in state politics for many years, I say confidently that your view of the NM political scene is hogwash. Don’t feel sorry for us; we feel sorry for you and your uninformed opinion.

Whew! That's scary. Uhoh… I live in New York. Thankfully Buffalo is far enough from NYC . Still Albany's reach can get to us. I wish people would realize what trouble he brings us.

I just hope you all know that not all New Mexicans voted for her and there are lots of us trying to get her out of office. There are 3 counties surrounding Albuquerque and Santa Fe and they have a larger population than the rest of New Mexico and she's got them blinded.

I feel sorry for people in New Mexico as so many now are Hispanic. Not sure if they vote based on real understanding of candidates or if the American Indians truly vote! These issues could make for the real problems. Sad, so sad.

It’s time for people to be smart. Not like the last election. If they want to be free, they must vote the leftist liberals out. Otherwise I’m afraid there will be some form of socialism, and filthy cities, and all our money going in their pockets.

As far as the Green New Deal goes presently app 18% of domestic energy that goes into the grid comes from renewables. Presently the grid is at its maximum in many areas causing brown and blackouts. To change all automobiles in the US to electric would not be feasible with present grid capacity. Its a pie in the sky idea to think we could change over to 100% renewables at such a fast pace. I just wish we had a Congress, Senate, and President that could work together to solve our problems. Yes work on renewable energy at a pace that industry and the public can adapt to. Not waste time chasing Unicorns and voting on the New Green Deal. MAGA !!!!

Anyway.... over 60 subpoenas issued for every electrical device ever made... and synder friends. Look what awaits Trump.

Reminds me of the frog being boiled in hot water slowly and hardly ever noticed what was happening. This is also going on with wars overseas and in constant turmoil with other countries. People accept it as normal. That's just what you do. Government bullies and the culture in America is bully culture. Forget apple pie and hamburgers. All this is not normal.

    Governor,
For the first time I can see the positive side of the crazy Democrats who want to impeach Trump....they aren't passing any of the crazy ideas like New Mexico.

Pure insanity! What is really getting to me is seeing all this evidence of corruption and seeing NOTHING being done about it. This applies to all areas from illegal immigration, education, the new green deal to health insurance, social security and homelessness.

Republicans blame Democrats, Democrats blame Republicans... what an idiotic, expensive farce.

Americans are weary and fed up!

New Jersey is a blue state, yet we, the people that did not vote Phil Murphy in as governor are now in the first few months of recalling the governor. The approval by NJ State Board of Elections approved the “Recall Phil Murphy Petition” and we have Sign the Petition events throughout NJ. People Need to realize what the laws are when you’re fed up with outvoted public official does it matter if it’s a Mayor, Senator, Congressman/woman, Governor. All you have to do is get people together for my committee then do the legal paperwork and if it’s turn down the first time because it Hass to be worded correctly you just continue it and in New Jersey that is what we’re doing we are fed up with him making us a sanctuary state and Tim raising taxes after taxes after tax it is seriously a “rain tax”!! Just because their elected him doesn’t mean you can’t get them out of office before their term is up!

Please pray for our state.....our leaders in Santa Fe are destroying our beautiful state, which struggles economically anyway. She was elected by the Rio Grande corridor , which runs through the most highly populated portion of the state and the most liberal, plus, she is a Pelosi want to be!! But, about one half of conservative voters did not bother to vote in 2018!! Hopefully this will be a different story with the next election and have learned our lesson!!

Simply move the guards back to the border, Colorado meets the buses at their border and send them back to New Mexico, if she is over whelmed with her job maybe she should step down.
A little off subject, polassy said she didn’t want President Trump impeached she wanted him in prison. Someone needs to ask her on what charges, murder, stealing, not doing his job, spending tax payers money on booze. She should clean her own house before going after President Trump.

It's time for "buyers to beware" when it comes to elected persons across the board and not just look at slick ads absent a complete picture of the truth of the person's positions, values, knowledge of U.S. History and the Constitution.
