False claim by Biden

By Mike Huckabee

During his CNN townhall Thursday, President Biden made the false claim that he’s been to the Southern border. When asked about this by Peter Doocy of Fox News, press secretary Jen Psaki gave an excuse so feeble that it could qualify for Disability. She replied that Biden "did drive through the border when he was on the campaign trail in 2008.”

Of course, the question isn’t “Did he visit the border at any point in the distant past?” It’s “Has he visited the border since he became President and turned it into a disaster?”

I can see, though, how she might think her answer was relevant to today. Maybe she meant that he saw how easy it was for him to drive through the border, so he decided to make it that easy for everybody.

Hidden no more

By Mike Huckabee

The hidden tax on the poor and middle class isn’t hidden anymore: the latest Zogby poll found that nearly 30% of Americans say they’ve had to miss meals due to high inflation raising the price of food. This is especially common among the young and the poor. Note to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki: those are not people who are just worried about their treadmills not arriving by Christmas.

Stop the presses

By Mike Huckabee

President Biden has conceded that fences are necessary to provide security!

Not a border fence, of course. He’s still blocking the completion of that, while Senate Democrats are scheming to tear down what's already built, at least in certain areas. But Biden is building a fence around his own $2.7 million summer beach house. Got to keep the criminals out – of HIS property, at least.

"What am I doing here?"

By Mike Huckabee

Moment you might have missed during President Biden’s CNN townhall: When he lost his train of thought and suddenly asked, “What am I doing here?”

Don’t ask me, I’ve been asking the same question since January 20th.

A warning of the many problems with relying on solar

By Mike Huckabee

It’s no wonder that leftists are waging a war on hard sciences and the scientific method. Nothing that requires arguments to be supported by evidence is their friend.

That leads me to this read-and-share far-and-wide editorial from by Dr. Joel S. Holmes, an alternative energy engineer.

It’s a warning of the many problems with relying on solar panels for our energy needs, and why in mandating that, the Green New Deal not only won’t work, it would actually make environmental pollution worse.

Shooting details emerge

By Mike Huckabee

Some details are emerging from the investigation of the fatal shooting on the set of Alec Baldwin’s movie “Rust.” The New York Post reports that there had been turmoil prior to this, with union crew members walking off the set to protest unsafe working conditions. The paper quotes unnamed sources as saying that a non-union replacement prop master who was “just brought in” was responsible for making sure the gun was safe.

One L.A. attorney predicted that the shooting would lead to a wrongful death lawsuit and possibly criminal charges, but it’s not yet clear who was the negligent party responsible. If this topic interests you, at this link, an attorney does a deep dive into assessing criminal negligence and whether Alec Baldwin might face charges, either because he fired the gun (which he had reportedly been told was a safe prop) or because he was a co-producer of the movie which would make him responsible for on-set safety.

You are involved

By Mike Huckabee

We don’t elect kings to lead us. We are not a monarchy, and in fact we are not a democracy, but a Constitutional Republic. A true democracy is rule by simple majority and every one votes on every issue. A Constitutional Republic is where we democratically elect representatives who serve on our behalf to make laws that are in line with our framing document, the Constitution. Each citizen has one vote and each individual is considered equal to every other citizen. We are considered individuals with personal liberty and personal responsibility. But our form of government has been under attack by those who want to replace it with an entirely different kind of government. A Marxist, socialist government would trade our being individuals to our being a part of a collective in which the government is to be served by its people rather than its people being served by the government. Instead of us having equal opportunity that is up to us to create prosperity, a Marxist approach diminishes the individual in deference to the state. We only matter as we bring value to the government. If we actually keep moving in that direction, it will be the end of our storied nation that empowered people from all nations, languages, religions, and economic circumstances to live freely and self-determine our future. Those who have worked hard and prospered will be penalized by the state and will have their property and their wealth confiscated. It will be redistributed to those who chose not to work, learn a valuable trade, get an education, or act as responsible stewards of their resources. And when you unfairly tear down the top and artificially raise up the bottom, the result is across the board mediocrity. It’s the equivalent of A students having points shaved off their grades and given to F students so that everyone in the class gets a C, whether one studied hard or partied hard. The incentive to work hard is destroyed, and the motivation to rise up and do better is marginalized. At that point, we become like so many nations before us who tried socialism only to see it destroy an economy, jobs, the value of capital, and creativity. Even art and architecture become bland and lifeless. Surely Americans don’t want that and will rise up against it! When I hear the left tell us that we have 10 years before climate change will turn us into greasy spots on the pavement, I want to scream to forget about climate change—we won’t last 10 years under socialism with inflationary high prices, empty shelves, lack of labor, and meaningless elections, and the only people left with a high standard of living will be those in the ruling class of government. Look around—we are rapidly becoming that. And the tone-deaf princes of power running our government have the audacity to insult us by saying that the problems of high prices for gas and groceries are only problems of the high class. It seems that the academics and people in the high perches of politics and power think you struggling to heat your home, fuel your car, put food on your table or clothes on your kids’ backs are nothing but symbols of wealth. Just when you think politicians can’t get dumber, one of them says “Hold my beer, and watch this!”

You may think you don’t want to be involved in politics, but friend, you ARE involved. You can sit back and let it happen or you stand up and take the power away from the people who hate America, but not caring really is no longer an option. If you like the direction our country is going, you don’t have to do anything but nothing. But some of us won’t give up on America without a fight. And I hope you are one of us!

Oh I won't "give up in America." But I'm not seeing very many options, and I'm not seeing any scenario where the Marxist-Globalists lose - you have a Marxist cabal in power at the head of every institution in society, who believe that they have a "Manifest Destiny" to recreate a Marxist "utopia" in America, and feel that engaging in violence, coercion and noble lies is perfectly justifiable in the pursuit of this goal...and a group of "good people" who eschew violence and, ultimately, who do nothing but compromise our rights away. Your "truth" doesn't matter if you're forbidden from speaking and subject to bodily harm and loss if employment if you do. Your "vote" doesn't matter, it's whose counting it, and your "rights" don't matter when the end goal is the dissolution of the system ensuring them. There are three options: capitulation to the Orwellian collective, war, or secession. "Good, peaceful people" will, as always, do nothing.

Is there no law in this country to prosecute people like Fauci for cruelty to animals? How long can someone like him walk free and continue to commit crimes? Where is justice for the victims? Why are my tax dollars paying a criminal big bucks to cause pain and death in the name of science. Have they no compassion. Why doesn't someone do to Fauci the same thing he did to those poor animals? Fauci should be in jail.

Just wanted to comment on a couple of items on your newsletter:
If Biden can call a 2008 drive-by a trip to the border, then I must have been there a million times because FOX shows it all day long. (At least we have one channel that will show it.) I also wanted to thank you for the Civics lesson on how our government works. Everyone really needs to read that. You made it simple enough that I could understand it. It's been a long time since I had that class in school.

Biden is allowing and promoting an invasion of
people that could be members of a foreign military. Killing gang members people of this country should forget about piling gifts under the tree and concentrate on what’s coming to their community more drugs and dealers more school students and more language barriers states are allowing driver’s license to people that cannot afford insurance and cannot read English printed on traffic signs people better concentrate on the grocery store heating bills and what is on their sidewalks new set of predators remember Biden is in favor of sex trafficking as the invasion intensified on the southern continues

    Dear sir:
Thank you for your article of October 24th, "You Are Involved". My husband and I are 94 and in good enough health that we have some years ahead of us, and we want to be able to live out those years in the freedom of the Constitutional Republic we have known all these years. You have convinced me that we had better get Involved. Thank you for being a dependable source of information and inspiration.

Thank you for telling it like it is. It seems to me that people defying the non existent mandate for the vaccine in private business are in rebellion. For most it is obviously not about the vaccine, it is about have the government dictating health care issues. Let’s put this in perspective. Anybody remember polio? I do. Our parents panicked when we got a headache in the summer time or even a sore throat. The devastation was far worse than the Covid. People clamored for the vaccine. No one mandated anything as I recall. The discoverers Salk and .Sabin were lauded as heroes. Let people alone and most will do the sensible thing. Force something and suspicion raises it’s ugly head. If only the wider media would start telling the truth. I do not think Trump can win another term. There are too many people who simply don’t want to listen to him for another four years. Even if they think the Dems are mucking it up, they would stay home rather than vote for Trump. We have other good candidates. I have a conservative friend who would not, and will not, vote for Trump. She wrote in another Republican. He was a good President when it came to policies and foreign relations. He just cannot temper a certain meanness against those with whom he disagrees.

Not really sure why we the tax payers are putting a fence around Biden beach house. The taxpayers do have many pieces of fencing in TX so that could be moved to Delaware. Also will the fence come down when Biden is out of office in the next few months? If he did not need it before he should not need it now. Now if Biden wants to pay for the fence that is ok.

"A warning of the many problems with relying on solar". Here in upstate New York, I think solar might work well July and August. We have a lot of big tall oak trees that would have to come down for sunlight to hit the solar panels....would that still be " going green " ??
