At last, Nancy Pelosi has a reason to chant, “We’re Number One!” The number one place in America for “out-migration,” with the biggest negative gap between people moving in and moving out, is her congressional district, the San Francisco Bay area. One driving factor for the mass exodus is stratospheric housing costs due to all the Silicon Valley tech money. But many people moving out also cite the increasingly loony leftist government policies.

Between the high taxes, rising crime, PC insanity, the sanctuary city policy welcoming criminal illegal aliens, and homeless people using the sidewalks as public toilets, many longtime San Francisco residents say they’ve had enough of seeing their once-idyllic city degenerate into Detroit-By-The-Bay thanks to its far-left leaders.

U-Haul is so desperate to get anybody to drive their moving trucks back to San Francisco that a week’s rental of a 20-foot truck that costs $3200 from San Francisco to Dallas is only $1128 if you’re willing to drive it in the opposite direction.

For the record, the cities with the highest inflow of people moving to them are Phoenix, Las Vegas, Atlanta and Nashville. Let's see, what do they all have in common? Well, they're all anywhere from 570 to 2135 miles away from anyplace that would elect Nancy Pelosi to Congress. They’re also filled with patriotic, hard-working, hospitable people who welcome everyone, but are still fervently praying that the newcomers don’t ruin their new homes by voting for the same failed leftist twaddle that made them flee to the red states. If you want to leave San Francisco and still enjoy the same governing philosophy, I'm sure there are plenty of affordable houses for sale in Venezuela.

I've heard you mention the outflow of citizens from California a few times: but it really hit hard when I talked to my niece in Fresno last weekend. Her & her husband have a relative living because he can't find any work. She said that about 6 in 10 workers in Fresno are out of jobs right now. Compare that to far Southeast Wisconsin, where I live: we are becoming very concerned about being able to fill the jobs now: and especially in the future, with so many companies locating, or relocating here.

You are absolutely correct! We're moving out by the end of the year. Thankfully with Trump's booming economy we have been able to cash out stocks and have a nice savings. Even though we're currently stuck in "Tax-to-Death" California, we can afford to live on one income but it'll be nice to do that comfortably in another state with sane people.

I'm looking to leave Florida for either TN, GA, or NC. Most likely where the three state lines meet. We need to get back to the basics with our faith. If you find faith offensive, then re-setting our moral compass.

My brother-in-law’s Sister just moved to Atlanta from San Francisco. Why? Because she sees S.F. going to heck in a hand basket from liberal policies, increased drug use and the city is starting to look declined!

"[One Bay-area resident] cites crowding, crime, and politics as reasons for her own exodus. 'We don’t like it here anymore. You know, we don’t like this sanctuary state status and just the politics here.' She plans to sell her home for ~$1M, buy a much larger place near Nashville for less than half that, and retire closer to family & friends." <--Can't blame her; hope she gets the $ she's asking for her home, but many are citing the high housing costs as reasons they're leaving. I'm in (high-taxed, soon-to-be sanctuary state) NJ -- where Murphy is #NotMyGovernor -- but hope to move to a red state soon, possibly TX. Hard finding jobs for 2 over-40 ppl tho, plus a new abode (esp. in another state) at the same time, while also trying to fix up and sell your current home. But I HAVE to try...

First of all, John Parker,(if that's really your name) what did Sarah ever do to you personally to bring out so much hate? If you can't say anything worthwhile, keep your mouth shut and let people think you're stupid instead of opening your mouth and proving it. Enough is enough. Haven't we all had enough of the spite, stupidity and hate coming from people who don't know what they're talking about? And second, I can't tell Ms. Behar how greatly I pity her. She obviously has never felt the quiet Voice of peace, compassion, and the love that passes all understanding within her hate-filled soul. Such a sad and terrible affliction chosen of her own free will! You cannot buy your way out if this one with your claims of monetary support for Christian churches. God wants your love not your dirty money! And third, a word of warning from a French philosopher to all of us who follow the loudest voice blindly: "Follow your friends into hell and your reward will be a place with them!" Remember that God did not speak to Elijah in the noise of the storm or the rending rock, but in the tiny whisper within his soul. Be at peace!

Conservatives are staying and standing out grounds in Southern California. We are attending city hall and letting them know what we want happening in our towns. I don't want to move to any of those areas mentioned not without a fight. California is too beautiful to give up on and we need the help of our federal government to stop our governor and the take over of our voting populace. -Something smells rotten in Sacramento and we're fighting it.

The problem I see with this mass migration from California, is that it brings the people here that are responsible for what happened in that state in the first place. Nancy Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstein and their ilk didn't just get elected one or two terms ago. They have been re-elected time and again for up to thirty years! The liberal voting habits that allowed what happened in California, will soon spread like it has in Colorado, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico. Instead of acting like a bunch of Syrian refugees and thronging to leave the state. They should stay and fight to get their state back. I'm sure there are many conservatives still in these areas that could be successful, but it takes getting off of your butts to do it.

I have fond memories of my year (1969-70) in San Francisco when I worked as a nurse at the medical center. I only left because I was offered a job which took me around the world (in four months).
