Proof that not every star in Hollywood toes the liberal line: When CBS News hailed Iceland for virtually eliminating Down Syndrome through a combination of prenatal screening and aborting every Down Syndrome baby, actress Patricia Heaton of “The Middle” tweeted back, “Iceland isn’t actually eliminating Down Syndrome. They’re just killing everybody that has it. Big difference.” She’s right, that horrifying “improving the race by eliminating inferior people” idea used to be called eugenics, and abortion rights pioneer Margaret Sanger was quite a fan. I guess some things never change.

Sadly, the people who most need to hear Ms Heaton’s message probably won’t be able to grasp it. They’ve very lucky there isn’t a prenatal test for moral blindness or they might not even be here.

Thanks Patricia Heaton for standing up and calling what it is. So much evil in this world....

I have family with downs and have also taught them in school as a substitute teacher. They are wonderful children with a great attitude. Killing babies for birth control, incl. wrong sex, or Eugenics is always wrong. When is congress going to do something about it. With PP giving money to candidates, and the moral attitude of many Americans, its very sad. Back in the days when most people wore ties at work, I had a tie tack of a replica of a child's feet at 10 weeks old. I didn't flaunt it but I gave my side of the story if someone asked. One time a Morman young man scornfully rebuked me for wearing it. Go figure!
