It would be easier to take liberals seriously when they accuse Trump and Republicans of incendiary rhetoric if some of the most high-profile liberals would stop doing it themselves.  And no, I’m not just talking about Maxine Waters. I mean people at the most mainstream levels of show business, the kind of folks whose job is to appeal to Middle Americans but who just can’t stop themselves from threatening us and telling us how much they hate us and want us to die.

For instance, there’s respected actor James Cromwell, who played the kindly farmer in the “Babe” talking pig children’s movies.  He recently gave an interview to Variety ranting that President Trump is a “totalitarian” and a “nascent fascist” and vowing that if Democrats don’t win back Congress and “stop Trump,” then “there will be blood in the streets.”  Gee, sounds kinda fascistic to me. Later that night, in accepting an award, he said Democrats need to win so “we won’t have to do what comes next, which is either a non-violent revolution or a violent one, because this has got to end.”

May I just say, “That’ll do, pig.”

Meanwhile, one of the most successful sitcom creators of all time (and the moral leader who gave us Charlie Sheen’s “Two And A Half Men”), Chuck Lorre, snuck a title card into the closing credits of last week’s “Big Bang Theory.” It was a faux prayer, imploring God not only to intervene in the election to stop the “fascist, hate-filled, fear-mongering, demagogic, truth-shattering, autocratic golf-cheater” in the White House, but to whip out “a little Old Testament wrath” against those who collaborate with him.  In other words, he asked God to smite you if you voted for Trump.  I don’t think he understands how prayers work anymore than he understands how government works. But he did make it abundantly clear what he thinks of the millions of Republicans who watch “Big Bang Theory” for a little escapist entertainment: he wants you all to die.

This is what the leftist celebrities whose livelihoods depend on Americans liking them are saying about Americans.  Imagine what the leftist nobodies who don’t care about being liked are saying. On second thought, you don’t have to: just go look on Twitter.

I can’t believe these Hollywood people ! Do they think we’re stupid or what? I used to be fans but now I find myself hating them and not wanting to watch any of their movies or tv shows. Same goes for music artists. Some of my fav bands are making me hate them. I loved Bruce Springsteen , now I won’t pay to see him. It’s crazy!!

If my memory serves me, James Cromwell's father was accused of being a member of the communist part back in the Joe McCarthy hearings of the fifties and was blacklisted. He was a member and he was denounced. Don't know what he did after that.

Mr. Cromwell may consider stocking up on band aides. If he is correct about that "blood" thing then he and his cronies are going to need them. Semper Fi

    Governor Mike;

I'm a 76 year old Army retiree - probably a bit past my prime for brawling, but I almost look forward to some of these tough-talking sissy-boys starting something where I am. By the way, if Martin Sheen or Alex Baldass want to start something, I'll be at the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington DC on Veterans day. Come on by and run your over-paid mouth.

this made me remember the Walls of Jericho . I was always taught that if you don't except Jesus as your Lord and Savior, dyin g on the cross so you would be washed cleaned of your sins So to me God won't hear him anyway. God is watching all this in saddness and He already knows the outcome. Correct me if I am wrong on the hearin g of prayer part please

As soon as I found out that the main actor in "big bang theory" was GAY... I stopped watching.

I am not supporting anything that goes against my values, period.. 1 more note, I pray that this country gets back on track before it comes to violence, we do need a cleansing though.

    Mr. Huckabee
I am a 65 year old woman who grew up during the riots of the 60's and protests of Vietnam War.
These actors and so called Hollywood celebrities are sealing their fate. I have never and will never vote or believe that what they say is credible.
They all seemed to like Donald Trump when he produced television shows like the appentice . Also they liked to as the saying goes rub shoulders when he wasn't the President.
Please, we need to look to the Lord and then find new celebrities to look up too.
Make America great again and may God bless us.

I am a Christian and I keep telling myself that GOD is in control and that all that is happening is in His plan. Reading Jeremiah and wondering if we will be taken into over by a Babylon type situation?

Thank you for reporting, and for the links (or "links!"). It seems we shouldn't be surprised. Perhaps we should be thankful. The heat is up because the game didn't go as scripted. Now the dross is rising to the top. It's not pretty, but at least it can't be missed. Now the question is: will people that still have a conscience that's in working order do something about it? Pray, vote, listen, speak, and demonstrate a better way -- and don't tune-in to their television programs, or view their films. Most people in the entertainment industry live for accolades, fame, popularity, and money. As long as the viewership and money are being sent their way, they will continue using it for their ends.
