Have you been so busy with last minute work before the Christmas break, holiday shopping, putting up the tree and decorating the house, and all the other end-of-year activities that you missed the latest hair-on-fire OUTRAGE by the anti-Trump left? If so, then thank God: it means you have a life.

The link will fill you in on all the pointless hysteria you missed. It seems that a rumor ripped through the social media accounts of the perpetually-aggrieved Trump Resistance that he was planning to fire special counsel Robert Mueller, which at this point appears incredibly well-deserved. It was only a rumor, but that was enough to spark, celebrities such as Rob Reiner and George Takei, and lesser-known leftwing alarmists to begin stocking up provisions to “take to the streets” in massive, coordinated nationwide protests, with grandiose plans to stay there, shivering in the cold but warmed by their righteous rage, until their hero Sir Robert was restored to his white horse to slay the dragon Donald!

Prayers today for Senator John McCain

By Mike Huckabee

Prayers today for Sen. John McCain, who has been released from the hospital where he was being treated for side effects from chemotherapy for brain cancer.  He’s going home to Arizona to spend Christmas with his family, which doctors say should be taken as a positive sign that he’s well enough to travel.

ating every allegation as fact now that it’s destroying the careers and reputations of Democratic women?

Mueller's team acquires transition emails

By Mike Huckabee

In the latest eyebrow-elevating move by Robert Mueller’s team, it was discovered that his investigators seized tens of thousands of emails from President Trump’s White House transition team without a warrant.  Mueller simply wrote a letter requesting them, and the GSA sent them without informing Trump’s people, even though they covered a range of issues that have nothing to do with the purported focus of the investigation (“Russian collusion,” remember that?)  Trump’s attorneys and some Congress members and legal experts say the emails were unlawfully obtained, which will taint anything that comes out of the investigation.  Mueller’s team claims it was legal and they got permission from the holders of all the accounts, which remains to be seen.  Trump’s attorneys are demanding that the emails be returned, while Mueller is fighting it.

Whatever the outcome, it once again offers a stark illustration of the difference between the way Trump and Hillary Clinton were treated by the same agency.  In Trump’s case, tens of thousands of emails were allegedly obtained without informing his attorneys, even emails that have nothing to do with the investigation and may be protected by attorney-client privilege.  His attorneys were given no opportunity to vet them, and they were used to question witnesses without their knowledge that the investigators had them.  In Clinton’s case, her lawyers were allowed to vet all her emails personally and destroy 33,000 of them, scrub her server with BleachBit, smash her and her staffers’ cell phones with hammers, and then she was cleared before she was even questioned.

But bias, influencing the investigations?  Perish the thought!

Doug Jones' honeymoon

By Mike Huckabee

Last week, Democrats were dancing with glee and hailing Doug Jones for beating Roy Moore in Alabama.  Well, Doug, brace yourself: you’re about to discover you had the shortest political honeymoon in history.  The good news: the people who want more partisan rancor and revenge instead of common sense and compromise probably don’t live in Alabama.  That might not have stopped some of them from voting for you, but I don’t think they represent the majority.

ISIS still a threat

By Mike Huckabee

Sunday in Quetta, Pakistan, at least nine Christians were killed and 50 injured when one radical blew himself up at the gate of a Methodist Church during pre-Christmas services, and another was killed while shooting at worshipers.  At least two others were able to escape, and a search is underway.  ISIS took “credit” for the attack.  In one of the saddest comments you’ll hear today, authorities said churches are on alert because of the heightened threat of attacks during Christmas season.  If it hadn’t been for the extra precautions, the attackers might have gotten inside the church and killed even more people.   It’s a tragic lesson that just because ISIS no longer holds its vast swath of territory, that doesn’t mean it isn’t still a threat.  The danger will remain as long as their brand of toxic hatred still lives inside their twisted heads.

UN considering proposal to rescind Jerusalem decision

By Mike Huckabee

Some members of the UN are circulating a proposal to “rescind” President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.  Lotsa luck!  First, the US has absolute veto power, so even if they could get it passed, we’d just kill it.  Secondly, even if we didn’t have veto power, the UN has no power to tell us what capital we can recognize.  For instance, we can look at the UN and recognize it as the world capital of useless, impotent anti-Semites, and there’s not a thing they can do about it.  Well, I guess they could stop being useless, impotent anti-Semites, but I’m not going to hold my breath.
