DAILY BIBLE VERSE

3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

Jeremiah 33:3

Danchenko walks, of course --- but FBI and 'Justice' Dept. are guilty

In today’s news that shouldn’t be news to anyone, “dossier” source Igor Danchenko was acquitted Tuesday on all four counts of lying to the FBI by a jury in Alexandria, Virginia. (The fifth count had already been dropped by the judge over a ridiculous technicality.) The media are gleeful, of course, and are spinning this verdict hard to say Durham’s entire investigation is a flop. On the contrary, his work is proving invaluable beyond measure by showing us precisely what is wrong with our so-called system of justice. His loss yesterday just brings that home.

As we said yesterday, Durham was likely to lose this one, in part because prospective witness Sergei Millian, out of this country and beyond reach of a subpoena, wouldn't testify. When defense attorneys said Durham couldn’t prove with just phone records that a call between Danchenko and Millian hadn’t taken place because it could have been made through a phone app, Millian would have been the one to say on the stand what he’d already told the special counsel --- that there was no phone call. Danchenko had told the FBI there WAS a phone call. In other words, he lied. But he walked, just as fellow liar Michael Sussmann walked.

We’ve been looking for details on why such a key witness did not testify, and finally found in a piece by Margot Cleveland that Millian had chosen not to come to the United States out of “fear for his family’s safety.” (He might have had something there.) In case you missed her detailed summary of the case in advance of the attorneys’ closing statements, here it is.

https://thefederalist.com/2022/10/17/did-danchenko-lie-to-the-fbi-as-jury-decides-his-fate-heres-what-you-need-to-know/

It seems likely to us that when Durham filed his charges, he was thinking he’d have Millian as a witness, and judging from what Millian told investigative reporter Paul Sperry, he would have made this case. Durham needed him. Sperry wrote almost a year ago that he’d spoken with Millian in 2017, when reports of his being a dossier source first surfaced, and that he’d called those reports a “vicious lie.” News outlets were still reporting he was the source for the most explosive parts of the dossier, apparently taking the word of Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS over his, he said.

Millian is, ironically, a huge Trump supporter, exasperated that his own name would be used in this way, so one would think he’d WANT to testify, to set things straight. He told Sperry he hoped the Clinton operatives, especially Glenn Simpson, would be held accountable for the lies that turned his life upside down. “It was a very painful experience,” he told Sperry. “They derailed my career and destroyed my businesses.”

“Clearly I got nothing to do with any of this crazy dossier,” Millian said. “I denied it from the very beginning. It’s all fake from beginning to end.” He said that, in effect, Clinton operatives were trying to “frame” him in order to tar Trump as being compromised by Moscow. And that frame-up is sure what it looks like. Glenn Simpson, along with Bruce Ohr at the DOJ and wife Nellie Ohr at Fusion GPS, pushed the speculation that Millian was a Russian spy.

Read Sperry’s report, and you’ll have a much better understanding of how the Danchenko-Millian story fits into the overall Russia Hoax and why Durham might have focused on it. Very highly recommended.

Tuesday, Kash Patel, former chief of staff to Trump’s last acting secretary of defense, tweeted, “the two tier justice system is here to stay.” Well, it’s here until we do something about it, and now Durham has shown us what we’re dealing with. The NEW YORK POST has a good write-up on the verdict and what the case did reveal about the FBI and its use of a “dossier” that was a total sham.

https://nypost.com/2022/10/18/steele-dossier-source-igor-danchenko-acquitted-of-lying-to-fbi/

The charge that was dropped last Friday had to do with Danchenko’s contact with Clinton operative Charles Dolan, who admitted to the FBI that he had lied to Danchenko, passing along what he had seen on cable news about Paul Manafort’s dismissal as rumors from a “GOP friend” –- this was a made-up person –- heard over drinks. (Note: that is the quality of information that ended up in the infamous “dossier,” the purported “Crown material.”)

Of course, you know this charge was dropped because Danchenko had told the FBI he didn’t “talk” to Dolan, which the judge agreed was technically true because their communication was through EMAIL. Good grief.

Apparently, Alexandria, Virginia, is just as blue as Washington DC, where Sussmann was acquitted. Durham knew all along that the deck was stacked against him, which leads us to believe that his real goal was to get the evidence out and “try” the FBI in an official record. To obtain deserved convictions in politically-charged trials, changes of venue are going to have to take place. As this bluntly-worded essay from ACE OF SPADES says, “First order of business in ‘24: the power of removal of politically-affected cases away from Washington DC to non-biased jurisdictions to get fair trials. Both prosecutors and defendants should be permitted to move trials this way. No more Home Court Advantage for Democrat Criminals.”

His rant includes an excerpt from Kim Strassel’s op-ed from last week in the WALL STREET JOURNAL. The WSJ is subscription-only, but you can see her full piece at this next link, well worth your while. She made the point that whatever the outcome, the prosecution of Sussmann and Danchenko “has by now yielded a scandalous portrait of an FBI willing to take nearly any step --- and cut any corner --- to harm Donald Trump.” The case he’s making, she said, “is as ugly as they come.”

https://archive.ph/C8DzH

Margot Cleveland wrote similarly on Tuesday, while the jury was still deliberating. “No matter the eventual verdict,” she said, “...like Durham’s prosecution of former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, the criminal case against Danchenko revealed extensive evidence of malfeasance by the Crossfire Hurricane team.” We still assume that was Durham’s goal all along --- to show it was really all just dirty politics at the DOJ, with very different treatment for the Trump-connected and the Hillary-connected.

Danchenko Case Confirms Politics Prompted Crossfire Hurricane

Finally, to anyone who thinks this is over now, it's not.  The most important part of Durham's investigation is yet to come:  his final report, which MUST lead to massive changes at the 'Justice' Department and FBI.

"Significant, impactful and voluminous evidence" of Biden family crime

So much FBI whistleblowing is going on all of a sudden –- particularly concerning the Biden Family Business and the efforts to cover it up –- that we might be risking permanent tinnitus. But their whistle is actually a pleasing sound after Special Counsel John Durham’s revelations of dreadful FBI “Trump-Russia” malfeasance, showing that the FBI has at least some principled agents.

According to whistleblowers, the FBI is in possession of “significant, impactful and voluminous evidence” of “potential criminal conduct” by Hunter and Jim Biden, son and brother, respectively, of President Joe Biden, relating to family business dealings with China and Ukraine. These reports stem from a letter from Sen. Chuck Grassley to Attorney General Merrick Garland (who may or may not have paid it any attention), FBI Director Chris Wray (who may or may not have been en route to somewhere via private jet), and Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss (who may or may not be seriously investigating Hunter Biden).

Jerry Dunleavy at the WASHINGTON EXAMINER has a good summary.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/justice/hunter-biden-criminal-fbi-investigation-whistleblower-ukraine-china

Matt Margolis at PJ MEDIA has a take on this as well. According to a whistleblower at the FBI, he reports, the Bureau makes a “pattern and practice of political decisions.” You think?

Grassley says in his letter that some of the documents the FBI has involve the head of corrupt Ukrainian energy company Burisma, Mykola Zlochevsky, and his business and financial involvements with Hunter, who was being paid lavishly to sit on their corporate board. These documents “include specific details with respect to conversations by non-government individuals relevant to potential criminal conduct by Hunter Biden.” Of course, one of those is presumably former Biden business associate Tony Bobulinski.

The letter goes on to say, “These documents also indicate that Joe Biden was aware of Hunter Biden’s business arrangements and may have been involved in some of them.”

https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/matt-margolis/2022/10/18/whistleblower-fbi-has-voluminous-evidence-against-biden-and-his-family-n1637975

FOX NEWS reports this as well. In the letter, Grassley says it’s “unclear whether the FBI followed normal investigative procedure or shut down investigative activity based on improper disinformation claims in advance of the 2020 election.” This is what is known as 'election interference.'

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/joe-biden-aware-potentially-involved-hunters-crony-business-dealings-whistleblower

Grassley added this: “It is also unclear whether U.S. Attorney Weiss has performed his own due diligence on these and related allegations.”

Considering he hasn’t even interviewed Tony Bobulinski, I’d say it’s quite clear. Grassley’s observation about Weiss brings to mind another U.S. Attorney, Cindy K. Chung in the Western District of Pennsylvania, who is overseeing a different investigation, this one of the President’s brother James and his association with a healthcare company called Americorp. Talk about a conflict of interest: Chung was not only appointed by President Biden, but has been nominated by him to fill a vacancy on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. That’s just scratching the surface of the conflicts, detailed here by Margot Cleveland, who calls them “scandalous.”

https://thefederalist.com/2022/10/11/is-a-joe-biden-appointed-prosecutor-letting-james-biden-skate-in-federal-criminal-probe/

As Cleveland writes, “Attorney General Merrick Garland has ignored these blatant conflicts of interest just as he has spurned demand that he appoint a special counsel for the Delaware criminal investigation into the Biden family business dealings that implicate not just Hunter and James Biden, but the President of the United States.”

From our “Is there anything the Democrats haven’t ruined?” desk comes this story

The Heritage Foundation issued a frightening new report that, for the first time ever, rates the “Index of US Military Strength” as “weak.”

https://redstate.com/bobhoge/2022/10/18/heritage-foundation-us-military-is-weak-and-unprepared-for-two-regional-conflicts-at-once-n645336

Only the Marine Corps was rated “strong,” while the Army was “marginal,” the Space Force and Navy were dubbed “weak,” and the Air Force “very weak.” The study found that the US military is underfunded, has “poorly defined” priorities, and would struggle to handle more than one regional conflict at a time. They found that Biden’s proposed budget for next year falls far short of what our military needs to regain its strength and replace aged equipment, with the proposed 5% increase being barely half the rate of inflation.

As Bob Hoge writes at the link, Democrats will likely dismiss the report since it comes from a conservative think tank. I guess they don’t appreciate that diversity is our strength, so having a military that focuses obsessively on diversity, inclusion and trans rights automatically makes it the strongest military in the world, right?

Phony Bravado

Despite their phony bravado, it’s becoming clear that top Democrats know that for them, the upcoming elections will make Custer’s Last Stand look like a custard stand. They’re already going through some of the five stages of grief over the impending death of their brief, disastrous reign of power.

For instance, Nancy Pelosi is still in stage one: denial. When MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell asked her about polls that are bad for Democrats and trending worse, and that show Republicans have a clear advantage on the issues most important to voters (the economy and inflation), Pelosi replied, “I don’t agree.”

https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2022/10/18/americans-might-just-vote-every-dem-out-after-nancy-pelosis-latest-remarks-n645319

When Mitchell pointed out that even the New York Times poll showed this, Pelosi said, “I dismiss that.” She called that poll "an outlier,” even though the Real Clear Politics Average of Polls shows the same thing with Republicans ahead across the board. But hey, maybe all the polls are outliers!

To give you an idea of how Nancy’s deep denial is, she claims that “women’s concerns about their freedom” is still a big issue. If she means freedom to kill their babies up until the moment of birth, that issue has been dropping in the polls. Women should be more concerned with their Second Amendment freedoms if they want to be safe from all the criminals Democrats keep letting back onto the streets.

And maybe they are more concerned about that, since Pelosi will also have to deny another New York Times poll showing an eye-popping 32-point swing from Democrats to Republicans among Independent women voters.

https://saraacarter.com/new-york-times-poll-32-point-swing-among-independent-women-voters-to-gop/

But then, we shouldn’t expect any connections with reality from someone who claims we have inflation because Joe Biden has created millions of jobs.

Speaking of Biden, he seems to have entered the bargaining stage of grief, but deal-making is yet another way in which he falls far short of Donald Trump. The Saudis refused his attempts to get them to increase oil production or to delay cutting it until after the election. It’s also been revealed that the Administration tried to get the Democratic leaders of El Paso not to declare the overwhelming numbers of illegal immigrants as an emergency until after the election (say, wasn’t that called “election interference” under Trump and treated as an impeachable offense?)

https://nypost.com/2022/10/17/white-house-urged-texas-officials-not-to-declare-migrant-emergency-sources/

(Side note: Did you know that the Democrat leaders of El Paso have been busing illegal immigrants elsewhere for months, and have just signed a contract to keep doing it? The same media that attacks Republicans for doing that hasn’t made a peep about the Democrats doing it.)

Biden is also trying to bribe gullible voters with just-until-the-election’s-over lower gas prices by draining another 10-15 million barrels of oil from our depleted Strategic Petroleum Reserve, in hopes we’ll be too dumb to realize that (A.) it’s just a temporary fix for a massive problem he created himself, and (B.) our tax money will have to pay to refill the SPR at vastly inflated prices.

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/10/18/joe-biden-oil-reserves-22370018/

But the surest sign of the Democrats’ desperation came with Biden’s announcement yesterday that voters have to turn out to increase Democrat majorities in Congress so he can pass a bill to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-vows-codify-abortion-rights-democrats-maintain-control-we-can-do-this

He even made a speech about it that was such a train wreck, someone should’ve dialed 911. He actually ended it with, “Thank you, I’m sorry,” which is how he should end all his speeches.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/biden-stumbles-through-abortion-speech-closes-with-thank-you-sorry

To help you laugh through your tears, here’s a write-up of that “festival of senility and bad politics” by Bonchie at Redstate.com:

https://redstate.com/bonchie/2022/10/18/joe-bidens-big-abortion-speech-was-a-festival-of-senility-and-bad-politics-n645105

There are all sorts of things wrong with Biden’s Hail Mary pass (forgive me for using a Catholic term for this abomination), many of which I’ve already written about. For instance, the SCOTUS ruled that abortion is a state concern. The Democrats’ bill doesn’t codify Roe; it would greatly expand it (Roe allowed for laws protecting viable fetuses; the Dems’ bill would allow taxpayer-funded abortion on demand right up through birth.) And they already tried this bill and even with the majorities they had that aren’t going to get larger, it still died in Congress (you’d think they’d be happy it was snuffed out before it was born.)

But the really interesting question is, “Why is Biden pushing a radical abortion bill to try to gin up support at the polls?” This is the point in elections when parties have usually nailed down their base and are trying to appeal to centrist swing voters, yet Biden’s promoting a radical abortion position backed by less than one-fifth of voters. And they’re the kind of voters who could be mugged by an illegal immigrant criminal just let out of jail by a Soros-funded D.A. and still crawl on bloody knees past miles of homeless camps just to get to the polls and vote Democrat again. Why does Biden think he needs to bribe them to turn out and vote?

As bad as the public polls are, I have to assume this means the Party’s internal polls look worse than Marie Antoinette’s horoscope.

GenXers heavily favor Republicans

Veeeery Interesting… (There’s a reference for Baby Boomers!) According to an analysis of recent New York Times polling, can you guess which age group is most supportive of Republicans? No, not seniors: they’re evenly split, 48-48%.

https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/chris-queen/2022/10/18/which-age-group-is-most-likely-to-vote-gop-in-2022-gen-xers-of-course-n1638119

The most heavily-Republican demographic is Generation Xers, age 45-64, who support the GOP over the Democrats by 59-38%. It’s a bit worrying to see the Democrat slant of the 18-44-year-old set, but one hopes that after life beats them over the head with reality long enough to knock out the socialist nonsense that was planted in their skulls in college, they’ll eventually come around.

Democrats have always "defunded" the military each time they get in control of the Federal Government. This, of course, is a dereliction of duty in support of the Constitution.

Of course he walked. It would not have mattered if there had been a video of him talking face to face with the FBI saying this is all a hoax but go for it anyway. On the other hand if Trump is tried for Jan 6 in a DC. court and there is not one shred of evidence against him, he would be convicted with a max sentence. That’s just the way it is.

Let’s not not get too smug about the polls. There will be a lot of cheating on the part of the Dems. Why, not, they know they can get away with it. A surprising number of dead will rise from the ground and there will be huge amounts of mail in ballots from 90 year olds in the dementia section of the nursing homes. You cannot believe the stuff that comes out of the mouth of my friends as they believe the Dem press without question. Remember it was considered a shoe-in for Hilary.

Oh, qjust what we need in our military, a bunch of people who need a safe room and a teddy bear. That sergeant yelled at me and I was offended. I’m a tenth Native American and I’m in a protected class.

Not to worry, Biden won't be refilling the SPR. He drained it on purpose as part of he Green New Deal so he can eliminate fossil fuels.
