Today's Edition: 6 minute read

With former special counsel Robert Mueller scheduled to testify Wednesday (I’ll believe it when I see it), Steve Hilton on FOX News Sunday night brought up something that SOMEBODY on either the House Judiciary Committee or the Intelligence Committee ought to ask about, even though Mueller would surely wiggle out of answering. Here’s the background:

Almost a year ago, Hilton first reported on an intriguing past financial connection between Mueller and former FBI Director James Comey. Comey, then a former deputy attorney general, was hired by defense behemoth Lockheed Martin to be its general counsel (top attorney) and senior VP at the same time Mueller was serving as FBI director. Soon after Comey was hired at Lockheed Martin, Mueller’s FBI gave them a $300 million contract to develop a program called “Sentinel.” Then, in April of 2008, Mueller’s FBI gave Lockheed Martin a $1 billion contract to develop a sophisticated biometric surveillance program called “Next Generation Identification System.”

Comey smears and insults Trump voters

By Mike Huckabee

Not that any level of sanctimonious hypocrisy from this man would surprise me, but James Comey somehow just managed to reach a new low on Twitter.  He tweeted:

“We have long had ugly margins in this country, but we are a fundamentally decent people, with shared values. We treasure our identity as a nation of immigrants. With our voices and our 2020 votes, we must send Donald Trump and his mob back to their dark corner.”

So Comey, who helped corrupt the FBI into a political hit squad, has the temerity to describe Trump supporters as a “mob.” (I assume he’s referring not just to his Administration, since most of this media firestorm has been aimed at Trump rally attendees).  Sixty-three million American voters is an awfully large “mob.”  It's also very telling that he can speak of "American values," and in the next breath, suggest banishing people he disagrees with to a dark corner where they can no longer have a voice in politics. What "American value" does that kind of tyranny represent?

Funny, when I think of ugly, intolerant mobs who lurk in the shadows and attack those they disagree with, I think of masked Antifa thugs, setting fires and punching faces and swinging bike chains at people who dare to wear MAGA caps or use their First Amendment rights to express an opinion in public that our moral superiors on the left disagree with.  I also think of a certain “mob” inside the FBI and DOJ who decided that the American people didn’t have the right to choose their own President if the mob didn’t approve of their choice.

Let us hope and pray that voters do see through the smears and insults, the angry eliminationist rhetoric and smug intolerance.  And that they do show up at the polls in 2020 to insure that the investigation of what the FBI did under this known liar, leaker and abuser of government power is not derailed and buried, that the whole truth is at last uncovered and aired, and that it results in these mobsters sitting in dark corners of some federal facilities for a long time.

From the “Blame Trump for Everything” desk

By Mike Huckabee

From the “Blame Trump for Everything” desk comes this story: this weekend’s heat wave in the Northeast didn’t happen because it’s mid-July.  No, it’s Trump’s fault.  It’s the “Trump heat wave!”

Okay, all together, sing out:

“We’ve having a heat wave…A Trumpian heat wave!  The temperature’s risin’, it isn’t surprisin’, they certainly can…blame Trump!”

Does anyone else find it odd that if a conservative jokes about a global warming conference being canceled by a blizzard (which happens so often, it’s become a running joke), the left sneers that we’re too stupid to know the difference between “weather” (isolated events) and “climate.”  Yet, they point to every summer heat wave, hurricane or tornado as proof of climate change.

Say, you know what else happened this past week?  We marked the 117th birthday of modern air conditioning, introduced on July 17, 1902, by Willis Haviland Carrier.

The Carrier company refers to this as a breakthrough that would “fundamentally improve the way we live, work and play.”  I guess they haven’t gotten the word that air conditioning is a “sexist” creation of a toxic white male that’s destroying the planet and that we must get rid of.  As always when environmentalist fanatics demand that we give up something fundamental to a life worth living (meat, air conditioning, having children, etc.), I offer this response.

“You first.”

##Appellation##, I wanted to make sure you also read this comment

Elizabeth Warren and Julian Castro are among the Democratic Presidential candidates who have helpfully posted their preferred pronouns on their official Twitter bios.  For the record, Elizabeth Warren wants to be referred to by “she/her,” and Julian Castro by “he/him/El” (it’s okay to be bilingual but not gender binary, apparently.)

This should be fairly easy to remember, since that’s how most of us referred to them anyway.  However, if they’re going to insist on choosing their preferred pronouns, I say we should get to pick their nicknames.

Mike according to comey and the left wing coup, the conservative Americans are too dumb to make decisions for ourselves. its hard to imagine that we have this type of corruption in the FBI and various sectors of our government.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING shortage is a problem in many cities in California. How much would it increase if all the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS were kicked out?

IMMIGRANTS - Dems can't seem to distinguish between legal and ILLEGAL immigrants in their many statements condemning Trump et. al
