MORE STRZOK/PAGE TEXTS SHOW WHITE HOUSE INVOLVEMENT IN FLYNN CASE
More Michael Flynn news? Yes, and I hope I don’t have to tell you how important this ongoing story is. I know it's frustrating to you that the information continues to come to us in dribs and drabs, because it is to me. But this story, from its beginning –- as far back as 2014 –- is emblematic of a law enforcement/intel bureaucracy gone horribly wrong. I hope you’ll bear with me, as we’re finally getting to the most important part of all: discovering how involved President Obama was in this travesty of “justice.” Deductive reasoning tells us he knew all about it; evidence starting to come in now likely will show he was running it.
And John Solomon has done it again. He’s examined more text messages between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, these from January 3, 2017. That date falls just the day before FBI investigators informed Strzok that they were ready to close the case against Flynn, having found precisely nothing, and just two days before the big Oval Office meeting with Obama, Biden, Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Yates and Rice. It was 17 days before President-elect Trump would take office.
LEFT-WING SOCIAL MEDIA BIAS
President Trump was just talking about convening a federal panel to look into regulating social media if the sites didn’t clean up their leftwing bias and censoring of conservative voices. Now, he’s doubling down on that after Twitter, for the first time ever, branded one of his tweets as substantially false and added links to “fact-check” articles debunking it. This is the tweet:
"There is NO WAY (ZERO!) that Mail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent."
Okay…I’m looking for the part that’s “substantially false.” I see the “fact-checking” links go to articles by the Washington Post and CNN, echoing the Democratic Party line that there’s no such thing as mail-in vote fraud. Which there might not be in Never-Never-Land, but here in America, there are known and substantiated examples of it all over the place.
You’d have to be a drooling idiot (or work for CNN…) not to comprehend that mailing out tens of millions of ballots to addresses that might or might not be current -- and to voters who might or might not be mentally competent, interested in voting or even alive – and doing away with voter ID, signature verification, and most other safeguards to determine that the votes that show back up in the mail were actually filled out by the people they’re allegedly from – is anything other than a recipe for “ballot harvesting,” and a substantially fraudulent election process.
I don’t defend all of President Trump’s tweets (for instance, I wish he hadn’t gotten into the recent accusations against Joe Scarborough, which deserved a legitimate fact-check asterisk.) But claiming it’s a falsehood to say that mail-in voting invites vote fraud is like claiming it’s false to say that leaving your front door open when you go on vacation invites robbery because, hey, there’s always an outside chance that nobody will rob you. Whatever happened to TRUST, man?!
Tucker Carlson was also aghast at Twitter’s Twit-like claim that it’s a lie to suggest that mail-in voting invites vote fraud. He brought on the former Attorney General of Nevada to relate some experiences with this particular election-rigging tactic. You can see that interview here:
A BIG DIFFERENCE
If you need ammunition to argue with people who claim the two Parties are all the same, just compare the coronavirus relief proposals put forward by the House Democrats and the Senate Republicans. The House bill adds $3 trillion more to the debt, and some prominent Democrats are still complaining that it’s not nearly enough. It’s also stuffed with leftist wish list items that are unrelated to the virus, like paying off everyone’s college loans, bailing out blue states with hefty debts run up by their crazy leftist policies and a national vote-by-mail scheme that would insure widespread fraud (sorry, Twitter, but it's true) and a permanent Democratic majority.
Meanwhile, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said there will only be another relief bill if it’s really needed because the national debt is already so big that it’s a concern. And any bill will be narrowly focused – for instance, keeping the unemployment insurance fund solvent – because “we can’t keep propping up the economy forever.”
If you still think there’s no difference between the Parties, then imagine that you’ve lost your credit card. Who would you rather have find it: a responsible adult or a thirteen-year-old at the mall?
NEVER LET A GOOD CRISIS GO TO WASTE
Proving it’s truly “blue” Hawaii, the Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women, which is part of the state government, has written a proposal to deal with the coronavirus through a “feminist economic recovery plan.” This mostly involves throwing tax money at favored female identity groups and a lot of blatant, and likely illegal, sex discrimination against men.
Like every other leftist “economic plan” ever devised, it’s virtually guaranteed to backfire in an explosion of unintended consequences and hurt everyone, particularly the people it claims to help. For instance, it includes an extra-high $24.80/hour minimum wage for single mothers. How long will it take employers to figure out that they shouldn’t hire any single mothers because it will cost them so much more to get the same job done than it would if they just hired men?
I used to think that “jumbo shrimp” was the best example of an oxymoron, but now I’m leaning toward “feminist economic recovery plan.” Thanks, Hawaii!
