The Three Cs That Made America Great: Christianity, Capitalism and the Constitution

Forces on the Left seek to fundamentally change our nation by disregarding the principles upon which it was founded. Members of the media and liberal politicians seek to damage our economic, political, and educational systems for their gain. The Three Cs That Made America Great: Christianity, Capitalism, and the Constitution:

  • exposes the Left's plan to undermine the Christian values on which the nation was built

  • reveals how attacks on Christianity are part of the political agenda of Liberals

  • provides a clear understanding of capitalism and how free markets benefit all people

  • reveals how Liberals undermine capitalism with their socialistic policies

  • shows how the Constitution’s purpose to restrain government and protect individual liberty

  • unmasks the efforts of the liberal Left to subvert the power and relevance of the Constitution

  • exposes the current corruption in government and culture which undermines the principles on which the nation was founded

America faces a war of values that will determine its future and likely decide if it will continue as a great nation on the world stage. Mike Huckabee and Steve Feazel sound a needed alarm to Christians and conservatives to answer the call to action and push back against the forces that desire to move America from its heritage and founding principles. It is time for God's people to take an active role in the political arena, not with violence, but with votes and voices that proclaim and defend the values that made our nation the brightest light of freedom the world has ever known.

So, is DA Bragg dropping his ridiculous case against Trump?

At the time of this writing, early Monday morning, it’s not yet known if Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s “Trump” grand jury will convene today as scheduled, after missing meetings last Wednesday and Thursday. As you know, they’d been listening to “evidence” from a convicted liar, Michael Cohen, that Trump violated campaign law with a $130,000 non-disclosure payment made to porn actress Stormy Daniels seven years ago (!) over a sexual incident that he still denies. President Trump said after a rally this weekend in Waco, Texas, that Bragg had “dropped” the case.

https://nypost.com/2023/03/26/trump-claims-da-bragg-has-dropped-case-against-him/

Maybe Trump knows something we don’t. As far as we can tell, though, the Soros-backed Bragg is still pursuing him. Kim Strassel at the WALL STREET JOURNAL says that as weak as this case is, she’s “very worried” that he will continue it, because of the intense “blowback” he got from the left when he chose not to. The precedent an indictment would set is the most problematic aspect.

Side note: The NEW YORK POST story also refers to a social media post that shows the former President aiming a baseball bat at the DA’s head. Even if Trump meant this in the most figurative way (and we’re sure he did), his adversaries are going to say he meant it literally and accuse him of inciting violence. Much better not to play into that. Please, President Trump, don’t give them the bat to hit YOU over the head with. Stay above this.

But speaking of the Waco rally and incendiary rhetoric, Peter Strzok did his best to stoke the fire and then blame Trump for the flames. As if the city of Waco hadn’t dealt with enough stigma from the Branch Davidian tragedy 30 years ago. Peter Strzok sets the inflammatory “tone” here, not Trump.

https://twitter.com/petestrzok/status/1639366308784472064

What an incredible insult it is to the people of Waco to automatically associate their city with nothing but that Clinton era tragedy. Does Strzok also think of that every time he watches “Fixer Upper” on HGTV?

Harvard Law professor emeritus and civil libertarian Alan Dershowitz, appearing with Maria Bartiromo on this week’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” said that of the four main instances of lawfare we’re seeing against Trump, the most egregious is the one in New York led by Bragg. “America’s legal system is at stake here,” he said, “and District Attorney Bragg should do the right thing and drop this case.”

Dershowitz is so dismayed at the conduct of those in the ‘justice’ system trying to take down Trump that he’s written a book called GET TRUMP. (Full title: “GET TRUMP: The Threat to Civil Liberties, Due Process, and Our Constitutional Rule of Law.”) He’s still no fan of Trump, but his former friends on the left are still going berserk, saying he has lost his mind. Dershowitz is talking about the law, not one candidate, and to us constitutionalists he makes perfect sense.

When asked about the future of this case, Dershowitz said he didn’t see how an indictment can go forward now after the testimony of Bob Costello, who said Bragg’s “star” witness Michael Cohen was so afraid of going to jail that he admitted he’d say anything. “This puts the district attorney in a terrible position,” Dershowitz said. If Bragg uses this witness, he could actually lose his license to practice law. (And he should, we would add.) “It’s unethical,” Dershowitz said, “to put a witness on the stand you know is lying. And he has to know that Cohen would be lying.”

Trying the case without Cohen would be “very difficult,” he said, but Bragg has the choice between doing that and doing “the right thing --- he drops the case.”

In fact, none of the four cases against Trump has any basis in law, Dershowitz said. “All four of them are politically motivated.” He thinks “the worst and the weakest” is Bragg’s case, which is based on “a sworn, admitted perjurer who lied to his own lawyers, who’ve essentially broken the [attorney-client] privilege and said that he lied to us, he told us he was the only one involved in this payment...How is he going to explain on the witness stand? ‘Did you lie now, did you lie then?’ Nobody’s going to believe him.” (FYI: Costello says he has a waiver of attorney-client privilege signed by Cohen.)

If Bragg doesn’t drop the case, Dershowitz hopes the grand jurors will finally wake up and stand up for the law, which says, “No, you don’t indict under these circumstances.”

If you didn’t catch the interview Sunday morning, here’s the link. Former assistant Attorney General Matt Whitaker also appears in the segment, talking about the danger of using the ‘justice’ system to target individuals instead of serious corruption cases that should take priority. So it’s well worth your time.

https://www.foxnews.com/video/6323387909112

“We have a two-tiered system of justice,” Dershowitz said. “There’s no doubt at all that if his name was not ‘Donald Trump,’ there’d be no investigation of him.” The title of his book, GET TRUMP, came from the campaign pledge made by New York Attorney General Letitia James and echoed by Manhattan AG Bragg to --- quote --- “GET TRUMP.” I would think they’d be disbarred just for acting on that promise.

That’s because, as Dershowitz said, “they first targeted the individual...[as in] ‘get Trump.’ Then they said, ‘Let’s rummage through the statute books and see what we can find.’” When they couldn’t find anything, they “made one up,” he said. It was beyond the statute of limitations, so they combined a misdemeanor with a federal (or maybe state) felony, “which is the worst example of prosecutorial abuse of discretion I have seen in my 60 years of practicing criminal law.” And if it can be done to Trump, it can be done to anyone.

“This is one of the most dangerous precedents that any prosecutor has ever tried to establish in the United States,” he said. If the grand jurors won’t stop him, the politicians --- both Republican and Democrat --- need to tell him “NO --- you can’t bring this case.”

But don’t they need a willing ‘Justice’ Department to make him stop? Whitaker said the House committees have subpoenaed Bragg out of a “legitimate interest” and that “this is going to put an interesting contrast in what we’ve seen previously.” Pelosi’s January 6 Kangaroo Kommittee was given unfettered power to subpoena anything they wanted, but the GOP House committees can apparently just go whistle up a rope, though they’re asking important questions about the spending of federal money, the use of federal resources, and much more. So if Bragg doesn’t honor the subpoena and is held in contempt by Congress, failure of the DOJ to enforce it will show their partisan hackery.

The J6 committee is complicit in this, Dershowitz said. “They actually doctored the tape of President Trump’s speech on January 6...DELIBERATELY OMITTING the words ‘peacefully and patriotically.’ If a lawyer did that, that lawyer would be subject to disbarment…”

By initially deciding not to pursue the case but then moving towards indictment upon his entrance into the ‘24 presidential race, Bragg is interfering with that election, trying to keep him off the ballot. In a must-see interview with Chris Cuomo, Trump spokesperson Liz Harrington confronted him about that, even daring to bring up January 6 and Trump’s belief that the election wasn’t above board. “If we don’t have free and fair elections,” she said, “we don’t have a country.” Her message is just the best. At the same time, you can see by Cuomo’s response how the left automatically tamps down any discussion of election interference.

You know from last week’s reports that Bragg’s case is in trouble because of the testimony of Bob Costello, who said Cohen had lied “hundreds” of times and had told him he’d say anything to stay out of prison. Bob Costello, we have found, turns up in some interesting places and must have quite a comprehensive picture of what’s been done to “get Trump.” We encountered his name in the book AMERICAN INJUSTICE, John Paul Mac Isaac’s account of his experiences with the laptop.

As it happens, in August 2020 Costello was Rudy Giuliani’s attorney when Mac Isaac delivered to Giuliani’s office a copy of Hunter’s hard drive, out of frustration that the FBI had done zilch. In fact, Costello was apparently the first non-FBI person to respond to Mac Isaac and perhaps the first to see the shocking contents of the laptop.

Very interesting reading. Costello makes his entrance on page 127.

By the time you read this, we’ll probably know whether Bragg has indeed dropped the case. If he has, and the left is called to give up its dream, ---at least for now --- of arresting and perp-walking Trump, they’ll still have AI (artificial intelligence) to create realistic “deepfake” video of this, to engage their TDS-fueled fantasies. The technology is so good now, they can watch Trump go to prison after all!

Cuomo condemns DA pursuing Trump indictment

Just two days ago, I wrote about how I have always defended the due process rights of the accused, regardless of their politics, and I cited former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s sexual harassment accusations as an example. Now, by a strange coincidence, Cuomo is in the news for defending someone’s due process rights, and you’ll never guess whose. Brace yourself: Cuomo is condemning New York DA Alvin Bragg for trying to press a bogus, politicized indictment against Donald Trump!

https://www.westernjournal.com/andrew-cuomo-surprising-take-manhattan-das-looming-indictment-donald-trump/

During an interview on WABC radio, Cuomo pointed out the glaring holes in Bragg’s case and how he’s stretching the law to try to turn a bookkeeping dispute into a felony to get Trump, adding, “I think it’s all politics and that’s what I think the people of this country are saying.”

Cuomo went on to say that the warping of the legal system to target political opponents feeds the anger, partisanship and cynicism “that’s the cancer in our body politic right now.”

I couldn’t agree more. As I’ve been arguing since the first hints of politicizing law enforcement began, this kind of thing erodes the public’s confidence in the fairness of our court system that’s the glue that holds our society together. It’s as corrosive as the hints of election fraud that undermine confidence in the fairness of our elections and the legitimacy of our government.

You know the abuse of power and the public trust has become blatant when Andrew Cuomo is starting to sound like Mike Huckabee in denouncing it!

“Misinformation” Alert!

A photo is going around the Internet of Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman in which he looks so unlike other photos, it’s sparked rumors that he’s been replaced by a body double while he’s been in the hospital with severe depression. In fact, that photo is over a year old and shows Fetterman before he had his stroke.

https://www.westernjournal.com/hospital-photo-john-fetterman-goes-viral-just-1-problem-insane/

I’m sure the angle the media will take on this story will be to scold people for believing conspiracy theories, but I would humbly suggest that such theories only arise when the public is given official stories that are impossible to believe. One is that Fetterman was capable of being a Senator when he’d had a stroke, with this photo being even more evidence of its severity when he's unrecognizable afterward.

Another is that he’s doing great, handling his Senate duties from inside the hospital and will be back at work any day now. Meanwhile, nobody but his top staffers have seen him for weeks, there’s still no word on when he might be released, and that cheery prognosis defies everything we know about the treatment of severe depression and the recovery times of stroke victims.

As the linked article makes clear, rumors and conspiracy theories arise when people suspect that official sources are covering up and lying to them. Want to stop the rumors? Stop covering up and lying.

By the way, the latest story is that Fetterman was hospitalized for another two weeks to “balance his medications.” But other than that, he’ll be out any minute now and is perfectly fine to be in the US Senate! Trust them on this!

Something to consider

Former President Trump had a big rally and speech in Waco Saturday. If you missed it, you can watch it online here:

https://www.youtube.com/live/AtB5jM8bnYo?feature=share

As you can see elsewhere in the newsletter, I reaffirmed my support for Trump on my TBN show monologue on Saturday. But I also mentioned that I occasionally cringe at some of the things he says or the way he says them. And I think Joe Cunningham at Redstate.com makes a point here that Trump should consider, that he won in 2016 because he was the candidate who seemed to really care about America and working Americans. But that message is getting lost.

https://redstate.com/joesquire/2023/03/26/the-trump-of-waco-texas-is-very-different-from-the-trump-who-came-down-the-escalator-in-2015-n721633

Cunningham argues that Trump needs to pull back on past glories, unfair attacks (admittedly, there are plenty of those) and swipes at other Republicans and start talking about the future, telling Americans what he plans to do to fix the many Biden disasters and reminding them of why they voted for him the first time: because unlike his opponents, he was not from Washington, and he really was there to help them.

Stop helping us

Remember how the Democrats were going to ban gas stoves; then when it became news, they denied it and claimed it was crazy MAGA Republican propaganda; and then once the outrage blew over, they went right back to banning gas stoves? Well, now they’re coming for your air conditioning. This could be the final straw that makes Texas declare itself an independent republic again.

https://www.westernjournal.com/not-just-gas-stoves-biden-administration-announces-crackdown-another-appliance/

They claim they’re not banning AC units, they are just going to “help us” by requiring that they be more energy efficient. In reality, that means meddling bureaucrats who know zip about manufacturing A/C units will tell people who do make them that they must achieve impossible energy goals (shades of government auto mileage standards.) That will drive up costs and force many less expensive units out of production, making it harder for anyone other than rich people to afford air conditioning. Oh, but don’t worry: if you can still afford an air conditioner, it might save you as much as 15 dollars a year on your energy bills.

If this sounds familiar, maybe it’s because just last month, they proposed similar rules to save the Earth from climate change by making washing machines worse.

https://news.yahoo.com/biden-washing-machine-rule-americans-214054133.html

We’ll probably end up paying more for “energy efficient” washing machines that defeat the whole purpose because we’ll have to wash our clothes twice to get them clean. Much like they’re “saving water” by forcing people to buy low-flow toilets that have to be flushed two or three times.

And this is why Ronald Reagan said that the most terrifying words in the English language are “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help you.”

Why I'm Endorsing Donald Trump for President

We’re almost 2 years away from the next Presidential election, but it’s already in full swing.  Candidates are announcing in both parties, and the media has already started their worthless, meaningless, and clueless speculating and pontificating on who’s up, who’s down, and who won’t make it to town!

Donald Trump was my 2nd choice for President in 2016.  My first choice was ME!  When I didn’t make it, I endorsed, supported, and campaigned for Donald Trump.  As President, he exceeded my expectations in implementing the America First policies that were long overdue to truly Make America Great Again.  I surprised most of my friends and some of my enemies in supporting Trump.  He often said things that were cringe-worthy, and some of the labels he affixed to political opponents and the media were harsh, if not accurate and incredibly funny.  I didn’t like all his Tweets or his comments from the podium.  And when people asked how I could support him I said it was like choosing a doctor to do surgery on a member of my family.  If my choice was between a kind, loving, praying surgeon who had the bedside manner of a pastor but who had never successfully done that particular surgery or a surgeon who was gruff, bombastic, and impatient, and who had the bedside manner of a schoolyard bully but had successfully done that surgery hundreds of times, I’d pick the guy with the questionable personality but the experienced and skillful surgical hands.

Voting for a President is not like being on a church pulpit committee and hiring a pastor.  Ideally, I’d love to have people in office who share my political views as well as my personal views and my personality.  But in the same way I choose someone to work on my car, fly the plane I’m on, repair my home air conditioner, or dry-clean my suits, I select people to work for me who are the best at what they are hired to do.  There was a reason that people were lined up on the sidewalk to get soup from “Soup Man” that we all saw on Jerry Seinfeld.  The soup was good, even if “Soup Man” was an insufferable grouch.

There are going to be some very fine people running for President in 2024 and some who could prove to be as worthless as a milk bucket under a bull, but I will again personally support President Trump so he can finish what he started during his first term.  He accomplished more to make America Great Again than any President in my lifetime—and that goes back to Eisenhower.  There were Presidents who were more articulate and had a more engaging sense of humor, such as Kennedy and Reagan.  There were some who had great legislative savvy, such as Lyndon Johnson.  Some were truly decent and kind human beings, such as Jimmy Carter and George Herbert Walker Bush.  But no President helped the country get steered away from the insanity of socialist economics and insane polices on energy, the military, and the proper role of the courts as did Donald Trump.

His tax and regulatory reforms put more than $4000 in the pockets of working-class families.  His energy policies provided us with affordable energy for our cars and homes and made us energy independent over Middle Eastern countries who hated us for the first time in 75 years.  His “tough love” to European nations who were derelict in paying their agreed-to dues for NATO actually saved NATO.  He was the first President since Reagan to NOT get us into a war, yet he advanced the pay and benefits of our military and focused on our armed forces being lethal instead of being woke.  In 2016, I introduced him in New York to 1000 pastors and said I wasn’t sure he could find John 3:16 in a marked New Testament, but NO President ever did more for religious liberty than Donald Trump.  NO President was ever as pro-life as he was, not just in what he said, but what he actually DID.  And he had the guts to move our embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, recognize it as the rightful capital of the Jewish state, and enact the ground-breaking Abraham Accords.

Maybe there are other conservative candidates for President who would do well, but who else could take and endure the relentless hate he faced and the never-ending persecutions and prosecutions of the demonic deep state?

Donald Trump is far from perfect, but then so am I.  And so are you.  But I love my country and I don’t want it to be in second place or third.  I want it to be FIRST.  And I’ll put up with a personality that can be at times vain and vulgar in order to make America Great Again and that’s why I will support him again for President.
