Welcome to Bizarro World, where non-US citizens in foreign countries file lawsuits against the President of the United States for allegedly violating their Constitutional rights by keeping them from coming across our border illegally. They accuse him of “abusing the law” and the Constitution by trying to deter Central Americans from exercising their right to enter our country without following our procedures.
Oh wait, it’s not Bizarro World! It’s the United States legal system, as it exists after a few decades of judges “interpreting” what the Constitution means.
Well, same thing.
Media covers for Beto
I already told you about the latest Project Veritas undercover video, allegedly showing campaign workers for Texas Senate candidate and liberal matinee idol Robert “Beto” O’Rourke discussing how they were misusing campaign funds to buy supplies and transportation for migrants in the caravan coming from Honduras to try to swarm the US border. They talk about how to hide it by claiming the expense as food for a campaign event, with one saying, “Nobody needs to know. For me, I can just ignore the rules and I’m like (BLEEP) it.”
Apparently, Hillary Clinton’s attitude about laws and campaign regulations has filtered down to state-level Democratic campaign workers.
If you read this newsletter, then you already knew about the story. But I’ve heard from a friend in Texas that it’s getting very little media coverage there, where it’s most important that voters know about it. As they say at the Instapundit blog, “Think of ‘journalists’ as ‘Democratic operatives’ with by-lines,” and it all becomes clear.
Anyway, I’m repeating it here with a link to a story with more info. You might want to share it with all your friends and relatives in Texas.
I assume you won’t hear this on CNN, since they don’t believe that liberals can be angry and violent, but Alec Baldwin was just arrested for assault – again. This time, the actor beloved of Trump haters everywhere for his one-dimensional cartoon of Trump on “SNL” is facing assault and harassment charges for allegedly punching someone in a dispute over a parking space. This happened in New York City, so I guess that’s fairly common.
Although one witness said he believed the man Baldwin punched didn’t know who the actor was, so maybe that was the real reason.
Tip for Inoculating Your Children Against Bad Ideas
If they still have a big bag of candy from trick-or-treating, it’s not too late to teach them about socialism by threatening to give half of it to a kid who stayed home watching TV.
Before you cast a vote for a Democrat, note that it might be the last vote you ever cast that’s not under an already-ruled-unconstitutional system in which Washington dictates state voting laws.
Ben & Jerry’s latest ice cream flavor, “Pecan Resist,” may be the company’s most openly pro-leftist product yet. But it turns out that one ingredient has been declared not only “racist” and "white supremacist," but it’s also in all their other products. In fact, they couldn’t be made without it, and I’m not talking about sanctimoniousness.
I love it when angry, leftist, PC identity groups eat their own. At least in this case, eating their own will be tasty. I should also point out that since "Pecan Resist" is chock full of nuts, some leftists might consider eating it to be cannibalism.
