Should the military have to worry about the public's feelings about the ways they need to get their jobs done? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Our military, the leaders especially, have studied warfare, past and present, the average American has not. They have studied military strategies, they have studied statistics, they KNOW what they are doing. The best thing we, the public can do, is stay out of their way and let them do their jobs without having to say, "Mother, may I?" They are keeping us safe. Who knows how many times terrorists may have triumphed, but our military and intelligence people stepped up and took care of the problem and we never knew there was a problem. A friend in the military once told me, "That's why we do what we do. We want American citizens to just go about living their lives without fear. We don't want the American people to worry about their well-being; not on our watch." Lee Greenwood's song "The Great Defenders" says it all...find it, play it, appreciate the personnel who carry it out.

Y'all gotta remember... Obama fired over 80 Generals in one fell swoop. What do you think the odds would be that they were the conservatives of the services.... leaving a bunch of towel-head supporters. Those morons subsequently prosecuted every soldier that would actually kill dune-riders.
