Thanks Paul Harvey. We need more farmers. They are often forgotten for what they give, share and do every day with no days off, no vacations and get up at 4am and go all day. Thanks to the Farmers. God Bless !

I recognize that voice I didn’t even have to know it was Paul Harvey. Very very cool I wish I could save it thank you for repeating it my dad was a farmer. I was also raised on a farm. We are certainly people of dignity respect Hardwork understand capitalism. We are very patriotic we know how to work we are self-sufficient we believe that our government doesn’t owe us anything we owe our government. Yes we could’ve used welfare but my dad believe that if you didn’t work you didn’t eat I think that’s in the Bible too. God save the USA bring back the Bible bring back God and through all these lazy bombs I want everything for free. I work for every last thing I have. I got nothing free from anybody

Our grocery store shelves are full when we are hungry we just go to the store but who planted the fields figured out the complex marketing systems and how to buy the expensive seed and machinery and use the computer based mechanisms on their implements care for their livestock and provide meat and food for the world? Take the farmer away and where would you be ?

Paul Harvey had such wisdom. I remember listening to him at lunch when I was home from elementary school. We had many farmers in the town I grew up in which included my grandfather when my dad was in high school. Imagine how thrilled I was when I met Jayne, Becky, on my dorm floor and their boyfriends - all farmers. We went to Jayne’s home and really saw how a farm worked and helped walk the beans. One of my best friends, Mary, lived on a farm and my husband and I visited here often. I marveled at their love for the land and the hard work they put in and how helpful they were to one another. This still is Central Illinois, a land of the most incredible people we have met on the planet. While my husband and I have visited 45 countries, this is our favorite place.
