Laura Ainsworth deconstructs Pete Buttigieg's townhall

About Laura Ainsworth

Laura Ainsworth has won multiple honors as both a writer and a retro jazz singer.  The daughter of late big band musician Billy Ainsworth, she grew up with the Great American Songbook. Her three CDs and best-of vinyl LP “Top Shelf” have garnered worldwide airplay, critical raves and a profile in Downbeat magazine.  Her latest album, “New Vintage,” scored multiple awards, most recently four Artists Music Guild Heritage Awards, including Female Vocalist of the Year.  Her “day job” as a writer has encompassed countless jingle lyrics, hilarious song parodies and corporate videos, the long-running syndicated topical radio service The Comedy Wire with husband Pat Reeder, columns for companion parrot publications, and working with Gov. Huckabee on books, “The Huckabee Report” radio show and “Huckabee” on TBN.  She’s the co-author of “The Sub-Par Adventures of Snakebite and Stonefinger,” an award-winning memoir of life on a US Navy submarine in the ‘70s, and the hilarious “reverse self-help” book, “Nine Hallmarks of Highly Incompetent Losers.”  You can find her on Facebook (www.facebook.com/lauraainsworthsings ) and Twitter (@LauraAinsworth1) and see videos and all her albums and books at www.lauraainsworth.com
