Some things are eternal: the seasons change, the tide goes in and out, and the Clintons will forever be under some sort of ethics investigation. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley confirmed to Fox News that the State Department has launched a formal inquiry into Hillary Clinton’s email practices while his own committee is looking into allegations that as Secretary of State, she interfered in a Bangladeshi corruption investigation on behalf of a big Clinton Foundation donor.

A Clinton spokesman replied, “Nothing’s been more thoroughly dissected. It’s over. Case closed. Literally.” But while the case may have been shoved into the closet by the previous Administration, it wasn't closed. A spokesman for the watchdog group Judicial Watch pointed to the legal consequences others have faced for far less serious infractions, saying, “This flagrant double standard for the gang that exposed top secret code-word material to the Russians, Chinese and others is both offensive and deeply corrosive to the intelligence community. There is no better evidence that when it comes to Hillary Clinton and her coterie, laws are for the little people.” I’d add that with the ongoing investigation of the current Administration for alleged collusion and obstruction, for which there’s still no evidence whatsoever, laws apply double for billionaires --- but only if they’re Republican office holders.

This story also notes that the State Department investigation could result in Hillary “losing the security clearance that gives her access to important government information.” To which I think we would all respond: “Hillary Clinton still has a SECURITY CLEARANCE?!!!”

We are comforted by consistent behavior patterns.
Enjoy your commentary even more than when you were presiding in the Arkansas Senate chamber and I was focused on preparing the business agenda.

Yours is a voice of reason--and insight and wisdom. You often make me smile with a turn of phrase even as you make a critical point and--as you do consistently--talk me off the edge.

I love that you appear on FOX and have the internet to get your thoughts out. You have much to give our nation, and you glorify God as you do so. You are a blessing to this land, its Christian and constitutional heritage, and the future we all are praying for! I thank God for you!

Concerning sub-standard schools. Let me remind you. Some of our greatest men learned their ABC's and 123's in a one room shack with a wood stove to keep them warm. Some with holes so big you could throw a cat through(remember that old time joke?) If they wanted to learn, they would. Period!

As for Clinton. It seems that they have been ten steps ahead of the repubs all along. The efforts of Mueller seems to continue that thread. Why else hire Hillary's lawyers to carry out the investigation.

One of the reasons the liberal left and liberal left mediais soooooo insistent that Trump just might have done SOMETHING wrong, (somehow, somewhere) may just be to act as a smoke screen for the real problems with Clinton and Obama.

I am a word nerd. I have heard this term before but I never imagined it was spelled like this.

    'Hillary Clinton and her coterie"

    noun (plural coteries)
a small group of people with shared interests or tastes, especially one that is exclusive of other people: a coterie of friends and advisers. Thanks for taking the time to write these news letters, I really enjoy reading them.

I am not very hopeful about this. There are so many politicians in DC that feel that they are better than the rest of America and know they are immune to any laws that govern our country. So many of these politicians are "getting away with murder", including the media. Let's pray that something comes of this.

Being an Arkansan (Texarkana Arkansas High '58) I seem to remember things about Hillary no one else does! Where did White Water go and how about their (or at the very least his) involvement in the problems at the Mena Airport? There is no doubt that she interfered with the problems of many crises while in office. Maybe this time we'll get to the truth. What do you think Mikie?

I have wondered this for a long time, but haven't seen it explored by the investigators. That being that Hillary's email fiascos (note plural) may have provided the Russians and other hackers with an in to the other servers which were breached. Am I the only person who thought this?

Investigate Hillary's corrupt pay-for-play dealings and connections to the Clinton Foundation when she was Secretary of State .
