There’s another shake-up at the White House, with news that President Trump’s national security adviser, Gen. H.R. McMaster, will be replaced next month by James Bolton.

With all the gleefully obsessive media focus on whether or not President Trump will fire special counsel Robert Mueller (he won’t) and spark a Watergate-style Constitutional crisis (not gonna happen), some interesting developments got shoved to the wayside.

Tuesday morning’s school shooting at Great Mills High School in Southern Maryland is over.
A few days back, I steered you to a piece by Mark Tapscott, a writer with quite a talent for breaking out of the “herd” mentality that characterizes today’s so-called journalists, who typically just parrot what others in their illustrious profession are saying.

This story is so clueless, it could only come from the intellectuals at NPR. It’s a shocking report that illegal immigration activists who speak out at public rallies about being in the US illegally are being “retaliated” against by ICE and deported.
I’ve been watching in amazement all the fuss and fury over the firing of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, simply because career investigators and ethics officials in his own agency recommended it due to alleged offenses that other people have faced indictment over.
You’d think there would be enough in the news these days that really is shocking without seeing the stock market roiled by a giant wave of pretend shock over the “news” that details about users of social media platforms such as Facebook are mined and sold to companies that hope to persuade said users to do, buy or like certain things (for those who truly did just arrive here from the planet Antares, that’s known as “advertising.”)
Hillary Clinton’s claim that women who didn’t vote for her were told not to by their husbands elicited plenty of heated reactions online, including some from powerful women who didn’t need a man to tell them to be royally ticked off.
As more and more Republicans are concluding that there’s no alternative to a second special counsel to investigate bias and abuses of power by the FBI and Justice Department, more attention is being paid to the role played by Deputy Attorney Gen. Rod Rosenstein, and it’s about time, because he's the one who gave us Robert Mueller.
Maybe there’s hope for the movie industry after all: the new faith-based film, “I Can Only Imagine,” opened in third place last weekend, trailing only the giant blockbusters “Black Panther” and “Tomb Raider” that were on twice as many screens.

The mainstream media will paint the firing of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe as a politically-motivated hit job, but it isn’t one.

There’s a saying going around the Internet: “Progressives ruin everything.”
Today's Commentary: It's time to GET MAD about deep-state corruption -- Bipartisan school violence bill passes the House -- Police and FBI not up to the task again in Florida -- Larry Kudlow joins Trump team -- "Clock Boy" is back in the news again -- Additional Mike Huckabee commentaries
It’s hard to believe that 15 minutes of fame can stretch out to three years, but “Clock Boy” is back in the news again – let’s hope, for the last time.
Wednesday, just one month after the tragic school shooting in Parkland, Florida, the House passed a bipartisan bill called the STOP (Students, Teachers, Officers Prevention) School Violence Act.
This is not a rerun: A teenage male whom authorities knew to be a potential threat has attacked a group of people in Florida. But it’s not getting as much media attention as you might expect, maybe because it doesn’t fit the current preferred media narrative.
When I used to do my radio show, the announcer would come back from a commercial break with the slogan: “He’s conservative...but he’s not mad at anybody.”

In recent commentaries, I’ve made flip remarks about Andrew McCabe leaving the FBI to collect his pension, just as Lois Lerner of the IRS is collecting hers. Well, Lerner gets to keep hers, but it turns out that McCabe’s pension is very much in play.
