Daily Bible Verse

14 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

HEALTH AND HEALING, IN MEMORIAM, PRAYERS ANSWERED

Christopher

Maria, who is in need of a new heart.

I don’t like asking for prayers for myself but the pain is so debilitating I can barely function. Going on just over 3 weeks having shingles on my face and head. Rash and scars are gone, but my face and head are numb, very painful and itching. Meds do not help. I’m afraid I’m going to have this forever. Only God can help. Please pray for me.

Prayers for supernatural healing for Lisa S.

Melissa, my niece who had major beast surgery yesterday, needs more healing prayers she is in a lot of pain??

Joyce, 83 sweet sister in Christ has had a stroke 2 days ago being treated in the hospital. Has facial paralysis, has been responsive but combative so she’s sedated. Her husband of sixty years, Ralph, is very distraught. She is my DILs grandmother, their whole family is very close. Please pray for healing and peace/ comfort for Ralph and all family members.

"Gratitude in advance for your prayers for my Mother Marilyn, afflicted and diagnosed with Dementia one year ago after she and I went through the storm that leads up to the disaster... First Encephalopathy due to chronic UTI which I learned is absolutely common in the elderly no matter how we try to prevent...then Sundowning which caused her so much confusion and emotional pain and caused me to fall apart bit by bit and pull myself together repeatedly as her sole 24/7 caregiver. She is 89 years old and was my best friend for 55 years until she was no longer in touch with her memory of me and became angry and hostile. I've read many testimonies about this happening when Dementia takes hold. Not only is the afflicted going through Hell. The ones closest, and some others, depending on their level of understanding, are deeply emotionally affected. Please pray for my Mother Marilyn. P.S. I've pretty much always capitalized Mom and Mother in recent years out of respect."

HYMNAL: Standing on the Promises

Listen: https://youtu.be/hPjkmM3F1kw?si=J1TiFyaBPpyXt6rZ

Author: Russell Kelso Carter

----

1 Standing on the promises of Christ, my King,

Through eternal ages let his praises ring;

Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,

Standing on the promises of God.

---

Refrain:

Standing, standing,

Standing on the promises of God, my Savior;

Standing, standing,

I'm standing on the promises of God.

---

2 Standing on the promises that cannot fail.

When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail,

By the living Word of God I shall prevail,

Standing on the promises of God. [Refrain]

---

3 Standing on the promises of Christ, the Lord,

Bound to him eternally by love's strong cord,

Overcoming daily with the Spirit's sword,

Standing on the promises of God. [Refrain]

---

4 Standing on the promises I cannot fall,

List'ning ev'ry moment to the Spirit's call,

Resting in my Savior as my all in all,

Standing on the promises of God. [Refrain]
