Everything you know is wrong.
That’s what I'd say to all compulsive consumers of mainstream media, especially CNN, MSNBC and the New York Times, and also those who use social media to “curate” the news that comes to them. For me, knowing what I know after many months of following all the details of the “Trump/Russia” investigation, this “news” is virtually unwatchable, as even a few minutes’ exposure is enough to make me physically recoil, like a health nut being pressured into trying to smoke his first –- and last –- cigarette. Get me away from this. Never again.
Unfortunately, lots of people get through that first puff and become addicted right away. How do I know so many Americans are “in the bubble,” brainwashed and wildly misinformed? Well, incredibly, a new Rasmussen poll reveals that even now, 57 percent of Democrats believe that President Trump is guilty of treason. TREASON. Only 14 percent think he is not; 29 percent aren’t sure. This is no doubt because the anti-Trump media are still prattling on, nonstop, that Trump “colluded” with good buddy Vladimir Putin. It doesn’t even matter that the special counsel investigated for almost two years with the most viciously anti-Trump team he could possibly assemble and still could not make a case for that.
With gratitude,
Mike Huckabee

Google news
By Mike Huckabee
How ironic is it that Google is one of the big companies protesting proposed legislation in Texas to protect business owners from having to provide services that violate their religious beliefs – and yet, Google seems to think it has a right to pick and choose which news providers will be included in Google News results, based on whether they agree with the site’s politics?
Of course, Google denies this has anything to do with sites being conservative. Perish the thought! There’s just always some issue that causes the blacklisting, even when multiple audits can’t seem to identify what it is. And by a coincidence equivalent to flipping a coin and having it land on the edge 500 times in a row, these “mistakes” or “terms of service violations” or “algorithm issues” somehow always seem to affect conservative sites, but not such reliable, trusted, objective, unbiased sources as CNN, the Huffington Post, Salon, Daily Kos and Media Matters.

Google News can be useful when you’re searching for a story, but always remember: you’re not getting all the news. You’re getting the “Google News.” Bookmark your favorite conservative sites now and make it a habit to check them out regularly. Because if you rely on Google or Twitter or Facebook to give you the complete story, there someday may not be any sites left that give you news from any direction other than the left.
Another Google ban
By Mike Huckabee
And speaking of Google, they’ve now apologized after being called out for blocking ads for the conservative Claremont Institute’s 40th-anniversary gala honoring Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. And the reason this time is…(spins Wheel of Feeble Excuses)…“Mistakenly labeling an essay critical of multiculturalism on their site as being a violation of their policy on ‘race and ethnicity in personalized advertising.’”

Just out of curiosity, I wonder how many leftwing sites that write about race in America in far more provocative terms have ever had their ads “mistakenly” banned for racism? No, I’m just kidding. I don’t wonder about that at all.

Protecting against a "Tyranny of the Majority"
By Mike Huckabee
An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found that 53% of Americans say they favor doing away with the Electoral College and letting the President be chosen by national popular vote. So once again, more proof of how smart the Founders were to give us a representative republic rather than a direct democracy that would result in the “tyranny of the majority” imposing all of its bad decisions on the rest of us.

Kudos to Senator Sinema
By Mike Huckabee
I believe in praising people when they deserve it, even if they are from the opposing political party. So a salute to Arizona freshman Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, who tweeted on Sunday, “I condemn the rocket attacks on innocent civilians and stand in support of Israel and peace.”
It would ordinarily seem unremarkable for a Senator to voice support for our strongest ally in the Middle East when it’s dealing with an enemy that fired 700 rockets at its civilians. But we live in a strange age. Sinema is the only Congressional Democratic I know of who’s publicly voiced support for Israel’s right to defend itself from Hamas (there may be others, but I haven’t heard of any.) Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib even put out tweets condemning Israel (as noted previously, Omar claimed Palestinians in Gaza are suffering under “occupation,” when Israel pulled out of Gaza over a decade ago.)
Sen. Sinema also recently broke ranks with Democrats who wanted to cut funding for Homeland Security, arguing that Arizona needs more funding to secure the border.
So my kudos to her for having the courage and integrity to stand up for what she believes is right, even when the majority of her Party opposes it. And my apologies if my praise for her brings her even more grief from her fellow Democrats than her principled stands on Israel and border security did.
Fewer comedians standing up to the PC Twitter mob
By Mike Huckabee
Comedians once stood on the front lines of the battle to push the limits of free speech. Lenny Bruce was once a hero to comics for daring to say things that were so offensive, they got him arrested. If he were around today, I suspect some of these formerly funny PC scolds would be the first to run for the nightclub telephone and call the cops to report him.
Many comics today seem so terrified of being targeted by PC Twitter mobs that they’ll rush to attack other comedians who dare to say anything remotely “offensive,” possibly in hopes that if they virtue-signal flamboyantly enough, the mob won’t turn on them (or hunt back through every joke they’ve told over the past 20 years, looking for something to get “OUTRAGED” over.)
It’s nice to know that there are at least a few comedians left who understand what the right to free speech is about and still have the guts to say it out loud.

Quotes from our Presidents

From the “Everything Trump Does Is An OUTRAGE!!!” File
By Mike Huckabee
From the “Everything Trump Does Is An OUTRAGE!!!” File: New York Times columnist Paul Krugman was so aghast that President Trump awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Tiger Woods that he tweeted: “I’m old enough to remember when Presidential Medals of Freedom were given for showing courage and making sacrifices on behalf of the nation and the world. Tiger Woods…hits golf balls for money.”
That quickly sparked a flurry of hilarious responses, listing all the sports and showbiz stars who received the Medal of Freedom from Obama, such as Oprah Winfrey, Bruce Springsteen, Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand, Tom Hanks and many more, including black pro golfer Charlie Sifford.
Sad to say, I’m old enough to remember all those. I’m also old enough to remember when Krugman predicted that Trump’s election would result in the economy crashing and never recovering. But then, that was less than three years ago, on Election night 2016. I guess Krugman won’t be getting any Presidential medals for his prognosticating abilities.

Crime Stoppers Lesson for Parkland, Florida, Sheriff’s Office: To stop a school shooting, officers should go inside and confront the shooter instead of sitting around outside, waiting for someone else to show up and handle it.
