Apple backs down

Apple has backed off its threat to block the Parler.com app from its app store if the site didn’t ban “offensive content.”  Parler’s CEO took that to mean “conservative content” and refused – properly, since Parler was launched as a free speech alternative to the ever-more-censorious limousine leftists at Twitter.

Click the link to find out how an upstart social media site made one of the world’s richest corporations back down with a combination of firm principles, bad publicity and a well-aimed tweet by Donald Trump Jr.  Let this be a lesson and inspiration to all conservatives being silenced on social media that there are tens of millions of people who agree with them, and they can take their business elsewhere if the Silicon Valley socialists get too big for their britches. 

Parler may not be a small upstart for long: they’re already up to 500,000 members.  Let’s see if we can’t multiply that times ten by going to Parler.com, signing up for free, and then following me there (@MikeHuckabee), where I post all my Twitter content, just in case Twitter ever decides my beliefs are “offensive.”

    I love the Parler app !no censors and real news ! It’s growing so fast they have growing pains but it is a great site ! I dumped twitter !

    I don't twitter--don't think I could keep up with all that activity--I don't even get through my fb and newsletters via email. Most of my fb friends don't do any political posts. Have one that posts anti-Trump things ("news" {cough cough} from whatever sites) a few times a week, one that posts pro-Trump things (not all correct) a LOT, and a few that post now and again. So, so far, my fb hasn't been censored. I also get a lot of posts from you, from Prager, Dennis Miller, etc.
    Thanks to your newsletter--I have an honest assessment of news that really matters, including parts that show when the left and msm (as you say, I repeat myself!) have put out outrageous statements. There's a lot of "news" I don't pay attention to--most are just attention-getters--because I know that I will see the real news that matters in your posts and newsletters!!
