HUNTER BIDEN'S LAPTOP PART OF FBI MONEY LAUNDERING PROBE
NOTE: The following report is not Russian disinformation.
In a developing story that will be ignored by most media, FOX NEWS reported late Wednesday that Hunter Biden’s laptop has been in the FBI’s possession since last December and is part of a money laundering investigation.
At this writing, it’s not clear whether or not the probe involves Hunter Biden himself, and we don’t know if it’s still going on. It’s FBI policy not to name names of those under investigation, or even to confirm or deny the existence of an investigation.
John Paul Mac Isaac, the computer store owner who had made copies of the hard drive, received from the FBI a “Receipt for Property” for the laptop last December that had the case file number, which was obtained by FOX NEWS. This number, 272D-BA-3065729, turns out to be a code for the type of investigation it is. The numbers “272” classify this as a money laundering case. With the “D,” it means “unspecified unlawful activity --- White Collar Program." According to one government official who spoke to FOX NEWS, “272D” means “transnational or blanket.” I'm guessing this means "anywhere in the world."
"BA” means the case was opened in their Baltimore Field Office, which would be expected for a subpoena carried out in Wilmington, Delaware.
The FBI isn’t supposed to open a case without predication (unless the target is Donald Trump, but I digress), so they apparently believed there was sufficient evidence to suspect criminal conduct.
Sen. Ron Johnson told Sean Hannity Wednesday night that his committee is working to “validate and verify” the information they have, such as Secret Service travel records, and they've had no problem doing that. One thing he'd like to clear up, though: the records show that Hunter Biden stopped Secret Service protection in July, 2014, but for some reason “they bought a couple of tickets for Secret Service protection” in 2015. The senator complained that FBI Director Chris Wray and CIA Director Gina Haspel are "not responsive” to their requests related to “legitimate congressional oversight.”
"This is 13 days before the election,” he said. “We should have had this information months if not years ago. And that’s the other scandal –- that the deep state [is] slow-walking legitimate congressional oversight requests, keeping important information from the American public before an election.”
Sen. Johnson has “about a hundred” questions to ask Joe Biden, particularly about the period right around the time he went to Ukraine and threatened to withhold $1 billion in aid if they didn’t fire the head prosecutor, who just happened to be investigating Burisma. It seems that five days before he left on that trip as the newly designated “point man” in Ukraine, he met in the White House with Hunter’s business partner Devon Archer, who is now a convicted felon. This was just days before Archer was named to the Burisma board of directors. It’s not clear if Hunter was named to the Burisma board before or after his father’s meeting with Archer, but the whole thing smells like month-old sushi. Johnson wants to ask the former Vice President what they talked about in that meeting.
As shaky as Joe Biden’s cognitive functioning is these days, it wouldn’t surprise me if he suddenly lost his entire memory.
The FBI investigation story broke on Sean Hannity’s TV show, during which Dan Bongino and I appeared as guests. When asked how President Trump should handle this issue during the debate, I suggested that when he brings it up –- the moderator isn’t going to –- he should make sure he focuses on Joe Biden, not Hunter. What was Joe’s involvement? Was he paid? How much? When? For doing what? Was he telling the truth when he said he’d never ("ever, ever, ever, ever!") talked with his son about those foreign business deals?
The issue here is not Hunter or Hunter’s problems. Focusing on Hunter would seem like a petty distraction from the big question: Do we want someone serving as President who is basically a wholly-owned subsidiary of China? That's what Biden would be if this stuff is true.
I reminded Sean’s audience that if Trump doesn’t get re-elected, ALL of this investigation goes away, and there will be no hope of anyone ever being held accountable. Trump’s re-election is the one thing right now that I pray for. I’m confident that he’ll be fantastic in the debate –- I know; I’ve shared the stage with him and know what he can do. The most important part of the night –- and the real turning point in the election –- will be when he talks directly to the American people and reminds them why they should re-elect him.
SOLID WASTE
One thing I truly hate about election season is how some unscrupulous PACs circulate blatantly false information to scare unsuspecting people into voting a certain way. I’m not talking about a little shading of the truth; I mean outrageous, bald-faced lies.
A great example of this was passed along to me by one of my writer/researchers. Her sister is on some Democratic mailing lists, and she got an email listing 28 vital programs that allegedly “disappeared” under Trump. These include:
The Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, the Safe Drinking Water Act, the Antiquities Act, the Migratory Bird Conservation Act, the Solid Waste Disposal Act and nearly two dozen more.
Man, after four years of Trump, there are no laws left! No clean air or safe water or migratory birds or "Antiques Roadshow!" He’s a monster!!! Except for one thing: there is zero truth to any of that.
The fact that all those things have “Act” in their names should tip you off that they’re laws passed by Congress. Trump has no power to get rid of them. Only Congress can rescind them, or the Supreme Court declare them unconstitutional. Remember the “Affordable Care Act” (Obamacare)? Trump’s been fighting in Congress and the courts for four years just trying to get rid of the last shards of that. If he was powerful enough to make the Clean Water Act “disappear,” do you think the last remnants of Obamacare would still be standing?
Also, note that one of the acts he supposedly got rid of is the Native American Religious Freedom Act. Do you really think Trump would repeal that? The people who sent this email probably hate Trump because he protects religious freedom from THEM! I bet they’re also in favor of wind power turbines that slaughter millions of migratory birds.
Verdict: This entire email should be illegal under the Solid Waste Disposal Act.
THE MEDIA SHUTS DOWN WHAT IT DOESN'T AGREE WITH
The novel and film “The Name of the Rose” is set in the time of the Spanish Inquisition, and part of the plot involves burning a “dangerous” book about comedy by Aristotle because laughter undermines fear and respect of authority. Why was I reminded of that when reading all of the stories that hit yesterday about our modern media Inquisitors’ attempts to shut down comedy that mocks today’s untouchable demigods of the left?
The most ridiculous example yet comes from Facebook, which demanded that the Christian satire site The Babylon Bee take down a post that allegedly “incited violence.” It was a mock story about Sen. Mazie Hirono demanding that Judge Amy Coney Barrett be weighed to see if she weighed the same as a duck so she could be burned as a witch. The Bee appealed, but Facebook refused to budge and demonetized their page. They were told to keep this private, but to his everlasting credit, CEO Seth Dillon immediately went public with it, pointing out that it’s not an incitement to violence, that anyone with half a brain knows it’s “literally a regurgitated joke” from “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.”
But it’s a joke making fun of a liberal, which is heresy! BUUUUURN THEM!!
In other “We can dish out the mockery but we can’t take it” news, we learned from the latest Project Veritas undercover video that the Silicon Valley censors at Google (which owns YouTube) think of themselves as gods, manipulating what Americans see so that only negative Trump stories appear in searches and anything critical of Democrats is buried or banned. That appears to be what’s happening to conservative comedian Nick Di Paolo, who’s built a loyal following in comedy clubs through his YouTube show.
He’s often had to fight YouTube bans. Recently, he dared to say that the prolonged lockdowns are meant to drive Trump out of office and that the coronavirus isn’t a death sentence, most people who catch it get over it, and most who die had other preexisting conditions. All of that is perfectly defensible (and it’s a fact that the death rate is plummeting even as cases are rising,)
Nevertheless, YouTube banned and demonetized Di Paolo for “disinformation” because he told jokes that contradicted the WHO, which as we know, has NEVER been wrong about anything and must NEVER be mocked!! You can learn more and see his show at this link and subscribe/donate to support him. In fact, conservatives should support anyone in show business who's brave enough to risk career suicide by not publicly kowtowing to the leftist line.
Di Paolo needs our support because he’s certainly not likely to get booked on today’s late night “comedy” shows, which are now just one big anti-Trump screed, the only difference being whether the host smugly lectures us with DNC talking points like John Oliver and Trevor Noah or screeches them in our faces like Samantha Bee. Some masochistic researchers at George Mason University watched an entire month of Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon shows and discovered they told 455 jokes aimed at Trump and 14 aimed at Biden. That’s a ratio of 97% to 3%. That doesn’t even count 64 more jokes mocking Trump’s family and Administration.
I assume they skipped over Jimmy Kimmel since I hear he doesn’t do jokes at all any more, he just lectures, cries and apologizes.
This study has been going on since 1992, and it’s not your imagination: it’s only gotten worse until the political bias is nearly as bad as it’s possible to get. George Bush was mocked a bit more than Bill Clinton in 1992, but by 2016, the jokes were running 78% against Trump to 22% against Hillary, and now, it’s nearly all anti-Trump. The story also ponders what they’ll do if Biden wins. I assume the same thing they did when Obama was in: keep mocking Republicans and never do any jokes about the bad President.
The writer offers a few premises for bits about Biden they could try. One is “What are the seven words about Joe Biden you can never say on television?”
Oh, I know this one! “He will restore honor, integrity and honesty!” If you say that on TV, you can get sued for false advertising.
UNHINGED
In today’s installment of “How Unhinged Has The Left Become,” we take you to Milford, New Hampshire, where people who have pro-Trump signs in their yards have received letters threatening to burn down their homes if Trump refuses to concede the election. FYI, making terroristic threats is a felony, and using the US Post Office to do so elevates the crime to the federal level.
I assume that identifying, arresting and prosecuting the perpetrators is a top priority of both local and federal law enforcement, as much as stopping fellow terrorist the Unibomber was. These thugs need to learn that if they play with fire, they’re going to get burned.
SHOCKING MESSAGE
Brace yourself for what might be the most shocking political ad of 2020! It features both candidates for Governor of Utah together, saying they agree on some things, that they can “debate issues without degrading each other’s character” and “disagree without hating each other” and “win or lose, in Utah, we work together.” Why, it’s…unprecedented!
