Last night, President Trump gave Fox News’ Sean Hannity his first interview since being cleared of “collusion” with Russia by the Mueller report.  At this link, you’ll find a recap of the major points and video of the interview if you missed it.

Trump made it clear that now that the investigation is over, he is going on the offensive to get to the bottom of how it was launched and why partisan investigators were allowed to use known unverified evidence to get FISA courts to grant warrants to spy on American citizens.  Mincing no words, Trump called it “treasonous” for “dirty cops” in the FBI to abuse their power to try to undermine and overthrow a legitimately-elected President from within.  He made the point that if Republicans had tried to overthrow Obama like that, they’d be in jail for life.

He said, “This can never, ever happen to a President again. That was a disgrace and an embarrassment to our country...Hopefully, they won't get away with it.”  He said he would order the declassification and release of the full and unredacted Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants and related documents used by the FBI to investigate his campaign to help explain how the “Russian collusion” claim got started.

Well, I think we all know how it got started: Hillary Clinton and her supporters couldn’t accept that she lost because their policies don’t work and she was a lousy candidate.  So they concocted this phony conspiracy between Trump and Russia to blame it on.  Also, insiders who had already been abusing the powers of their federal agencies to harm Trump’s campaign panicked when he won because they were afraid they were be exposed instead of rewarded, so they ramped up the effort to undermine and besmirch him to save themselves.

The media gleefully parroted the collusion narrative because that’s what they wanted to believe.  It hamstrung Trump’s agenda, harmed America in the eyes of the world, and encouraged hostile powers such as China, Iran and North Korea to avoid dealing with Trump because they figured he was weakened and might be impeached soon. That harmed every American in multiple ways and made the world a more dangerous place.

I’m sure Trump will be depicted by the media as petty or vengeful for saying he wants to get to the bottom of this and make sure the people behind it are punished.  But those people richly deserve punishment for violating the public trust in the most illegal, unconstitutional and unconscionable ways.  If they want forgiveness, they can always ask it of Jesus while they’re praying in their prison cells.

In the “Hannity” interview, President Trump also called on his loudest Congressional critic, Rep. Adam Schiff, to resign, following up on a tweet in which he accused Schiff of “knowingly and illegally lying and leaking.”  He called Schiff, now, ironically, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, a “criminal.”

But since that doesn’t disqualify you from Congress, he probably won’t resign.  As Mark Twain wrote, “There is no distinctly native American criminal class except Congress."  He wrote that in 1897, and I think some of the criminals who were in Congress at the time might still be there.

"....might still be there." LOL! Without doubt. There are so many rejects from some nursing home 'still there,' they are no longer simple imbeciles, they are 'senile imbeciles.'

I don't do donations to any government agencies or individuals. My tax money is already being flushed in either Peolosick's, Scrumer's, or GOP's toilet adding GOOD money to follow bad just doesn't comport with anything my parents tried to teach me! I was enticed, however, by one comment made by Mr. Tom Fitton, of Judicial Watch: "We're Suing Everybody!" He was referring to the people/agencies that attempted a Coup d'état upon a sitting President of The United States of America. I for one am praying for JUSTICE, God Speed Ahead!

Man! we have criminals and traitors EVERYwhere. We need massive punishment for treason to send a message to dems that this kind of behavior will NOT be tolerated by the American people. Schiff is a criminal at the least. I am sure he has taken actions that make him worse. Clean house? you betcha! make about 2/3 of the dem seats in congress empty. Show them on TV empty, Have roll call for all those who are indicted and on trial. Tell their constituents about it, tell them to elect people who really represent THEM and not the deep state. Yes, the deep state has been exposed for all to see. Only someone who refuses to see can't. the presidential candidates but Gillibrand are implicated, her? maybe she is too. Add to this the criminals in the media. We have them on tape, this is now a "Gotcha" moment. We have video, audio and documents. Oh! and add to that sworn testimony with or without perjury. There is no place to run. It's over. We won, they lost.

Where is honor & respect for Our President. It is so difficult to understand why the news media and the Left are totally out to destroy this nation and our President. They are such examples of untruth and criticism and disrespect. I have always said that it would be the news media that would be the main factor in destroying America. Our President continues to work so hard and do what is right in honoring America and what is good for this world. No President should ever have to go through what President Trump has endured these two and half years. I thank God for giving us President Trump & First Lady to do what is right in protecting America, our Flag, Saving our Babies, honoring the Bible, and working to get prayer back in the schools and so many other things. We need to respect the Office whether you like whom God has placed in Office or not.

As always Governor I loved your assessment of President Trump talking to Hannity. And I hope he goes after each and every individual who not only committed crimes against him, our government and America in total, and have them pay for the crimes they committed .......... and I believe prison should be their due dessert!

What was done to the President WAS disgraceful. However, he has hurt himself mightily by his historonic tweets. If Mr. Trump had acted the gentlemsn through this, protesting yes, but without name calling, he would now be considered a victim of DNC vegeance. My lib friends still say, and will keep saying, that anyone with his public mouth is unfit to represent this country. It is frustrating for those of us who suppprt his policies to see all of the good things he has done covered up by remarks. For example, whatever possessed the man to continue criticism of a dead hero. I did not care for some of Senator McCain’s actions, but if he wasn’t a hero, who is? What is wrong with our President that he cannot treat some of this deranged trump syndrome with humor. It worked for Reagan. Govenor, can you not have a chat with him, or persuade Sean to do so. He. Igbo listen to Sean. Now is the time for President Trump to start acting like a dignified gentleman. Otherwise, he is going down on 2020. There are so many promise of goodies and such fear being implanted about the deficit, that the younger people are going to come out in droves. They buy into it hook, line and sinker. Plus those states that are throwing their electoral votes to the popular vote winner will skew the whole thing to some screamong progressive. I have already talked to my financial advisor about how to protect my retirement income because the value of my assets on which I depend for a living will take a nose dive. As to the deficit, there is no way the ?Dems can do what they want and support all of those who will be pit of work without increasing the deficit many fold. It is simple household economics.

    Governor Huckabee,
Corruption is still deep and I thank God that our president is trying to put an end to it.
It was apparent from the end of the election that the opposition and the media wanted to reverse the outcome of the election and actually put Hillary Clinton into the office.
This is appalling. I agree with what President Trump said on Hannity last evening. I am grateful that President Trump has a thick skin.
He has had to endure allot because of jealousy, envy and covetedness and a lust for power and money.
Sins all of them. Repentance is a solution. True ‘change’.

I watched Hannity and his phone call from President Trump and was impressed in so many ways. I envy his energy and ability to communicate effectively without electronic gadgets and the time he gave to us listeners via FOX. You have helped many of us to become a news junkie and can 'hear' both sides of politics because of the montages of hate who seem to have limited vocabularies. Living in Michigan has been interesting with Trump's visit to Grand Rapids today, Thursday. I was invited by phone with promise of free tickets but declined regretfully. Trump won big time in his venture but since has been dominated by Democrats or Liberals I should say in 2018. News stories this morning interviewed a man who came 800 miles from another state to hear Trump and the line-up began before dawn for 10,000 or more who came from all over to be a part of this visit. Unfortunately, there were those who were setting up protests, promising non-violence. I didn't hear of any conservative protests when 2 liberal potential candidates came to Michigan. I will be listening and expecting the numbers to rise above 10,000 MAGA visitors to hear our President. Thank you for your 2 X daily informative, humorous newsletters. I do enjoy the read comments as well. Prayers to all who seek the truth and love of this great country.
