I wrote earlier this week about recent victories for the radical abortion movement, like the court victory for those seeking to silence, punish and destroy the undercover reporters who exposed Planned Parenthood’s barbaric practices (that story is far from over; the appeal is already underway and it needed to get away from that shockingly biased judge.)
But there are more headlines that should give pause to anyone who cares about protecting life.
Pennsylvania’s Democrat Gov. Tom Wolf vetoed a bill barring the abortion of babies just because they have Down syndrome, or as that used to be called eugenics.
California’s Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal from a Catholic missionary organization of a state law forcing them to provide coverage for elective abortions under their health insurance. The law defines elective abortions as “medically necessary,” even though actual doctors agree that abortion is almost never “medically necessary,” and certainly not elective abortions.
With gratitude,
Mike Huckabee

FEATURED STORY
Impeachment turning off voters
Just as I predicted, Adam Schiff’s expensive, pointless, lawless and transparently political impeachment show has done nothing but turn more Americans, particularly Independent voters, against impeachment. The polls showing a majority of Americans wanting Trump to be impeached were always nothing but slanted push polls based on propaganda, but now that people have seen the weakness of the case with their own eyes, the tide is turning.
In fact, a new Emerson poll found that getting a good close look at how the Democrats operate has managed to lift Trump’s approval rating into positive territory, 48-47%. In a fair world, with his economy and no wars, it should be in the 60s, but this is probably as high as anyone could get with a relentlessly negative media and about half the voters convinced he’s Satan.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is far too shrewd politically not to realize what a disaster this is (I suspect she knew that long ago but was forced to go along with it to hold her tantrum-throwing kiddie caucus together.) Trying to put a good face on it, Pelosi said that now that we’ve seen the evidence, the Democrats have no choice but to act.
And she’s right: now that Americans have seen the pitiful pile of partisan grudges, groundless presumptions, hurt feelings and third-hand hearsay that are all they’ve got, the Democrats have no choice but to put on a big, phony act about how they’re protecting the Constitution while they’re actually using it as toilet paper.

I wanted to make sure you also read these comments:
For those who were shocked at the sudden betrayal of Christian charities by Chick-fil-A, Daniel Greenfield at Frontpage magazine demonstrates that this is not actually a sudden change. You might be shocked at what they’ve been quietly funding to a far greater extent than they ever helped the Salvation Army.

If you missed my appearance on Fox News to talk about the debate with Laura Ingraham, here’s the video.

But I’d like to point out that the write-up of it gets what I said wrong. This is how it describes one of my comments:
“Huckabee agreed, responding that Democrats appear to hate constitutional principles more than they hold disdain for Trump.”
If you watch the video, you’ll see that I actually said that Democrats appear to hate Trump more than they love the Constitution. That’s not the same thing.
Bible Verse of the Day (KJV)
"But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed."
