After I tweeted a reminder about the movie “Unplanned” opening this weekend, my Twitter feed got the usual barrage of snark from the liberal Peanut Gallery, accusing critics of Planned Parenthood of wanting to slash women’s health services.  That is as ridiculous as the claims by some of them that they were going to unfollow me over that tweet (if they didn’t know I’m pro-life, why were they following me in the first place?)

So I thought this would be a great time for a refresher course on why supporting Planned Parenthood and supporting women’s health services are not in any way the same thing. And I’ll do it using PP’s own numbers.  These figures are from the annual reports that they’re required by law to issue (and if they weren’t, you can bet this would all be top secret.)

With gratitude,

Mike Huckabee

"Huckabee" preview

By Mike Huckabee

Join me tonight on TBN for another inspiring and entertaining new episode of “Huckabee.”  Best-selling author John C. Maxwell, ranked as the #1 leadership and management expert in the world, will tell us about his new book that could change your life.  Dr. Anthony Levatino will share how he went from performing abortions to being a leading pro-life advocate.  You’ll meet a Huck’s Heroine who’s helping rescue women from human trafficking, prostitution and addiction.  On the lighter side, we welcome one of the most amazing and hilarious ventriloquists on the planet, Todd Oliver (and his talking dog, Irving.)  I’ll also have commentary on this wild news week, some goofy news “In Case You Missed It,” and we’ll top it all off with one of the hottest new acts in country music, Thompson Square.

All that and more is coming your way tonight at 8 and 11 EST, 7 and 10 CST, and repeated at the same times on Sunday, only on TBN. To find your local TBN channel and stream previous episodes online, visit

"Unplanned' opens

By Mike Huckabee

The movie “Unplanned” opened this weekend, and I hope you will see it. It’s the true story of Planned Parenthood clinic manager Abby Johnson who became a pro-life activist after assisting in an abortion and seeing, to her horror, what it really is. A lot of people don’t want you to see this film (like the Motion Picture Association of America, which slapped it with an unjustified R rating to keep teenagers from seeing it.)  Seeing it on opening weekend will not only let you be the first to see a terrific film that people will be talking about, but it will send a message to Hollywood and the pro-abortion lobby that they can no longer silence the truth.

As this article notes, the film is getting rave reviews from outlets that aren’t bound by the shackles of liberalism.  It’s been called a “must-see,” “extremely well-made and powerful,” and one writer compared its “emotional wallop” to “Schindler’s List,” “Passion of the Christ,” and “Saving Private Ryan.”

This link will take to you information about “Unplanned,” where and when it’s playing near you, and links to buy tickets online.

Vietnam War Veterans Day

By Mike Huckabee

Friday was Vietnam War Veterans Day, a special day set aside to honor veterans of the Vietnam War that was created by President Obama in a presidential proclamation in 2012.  It was made official by Congress and signed by President Trump in 2017.  It marks the anniversary of the last US troops leaving Vietnam on March 29, 1973.

At the link, some more history and statements from Trump and Vice President Pence, expressing gratitude for the sacrifices of Vietnam veterans.

Trump is ready to see some accountability, and so are we

By Mike Huckabee

Though Democrats refuse to give it up, President Trump is now looking at the Mueller investigation in his rear-view mirror. At a huge rally Thursday night in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he had the enormous pleasure of speaking about it in the past tense. And his audience had the same enormous pleasure of hearing him use the one word we all want to hear:

To those of us who have assumed no one associated with the fictional Russian “dossier” and the sham “Trump/Russia” narrative (hoax) would ever face the music, Trump made it clear that he was tuning up the orchestra. “All the current and former officials who paid for, promoted and perpetuated the single greatest hoax in the history of politics in our country. They have to be, I’m sorry, they have to be accountable.”

At that, the crowd began chanting “Lock then up! Lock them up!”

He gave Democrats a stark choice: to “decide whether they will continue defrauding the public with ridiculous bull**** partisan investigations, or apologize to the American people.”

Schiff: bereft of humor and intelligence

By Mike Huckabee

This week, all the Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee called on chairman Adam Schiff to step down, saying they had no faith in his leadership and he had discredited the committee by continuing to promote a “demonstrably false narrative” that President Trump colluded with Russia in the 2016 election.  That includes claiming on numerous media outlets that he has evidence to back those accusations, yet never providing any.

After the revolt, Schiff went on a rant and doubled-down, listing all the ways in which Trump or his associates allegedly engaged in illegal or suspicious behavior.  But once again, he provided no evidence, and the things he mentioned that are now in the public sphere he got wrong in easily-refuted ways, as you can read at this link.

One that I’m particularly tired of is the worn-out hooey that Trump, as Schiff put it, “called on Russia to hack his opponent’s emails if they were listening.”  As I noted at the time and have reminded people ever since, Trump was making a joke, and a pretty funny one at that.

Trump didn’t call on Russia to hack his opponent, he suggested sarcastically that if the FBI, as it claimed, couldn’t “find” or recover over 30,000 of Hillary Clinton’s emails after she’d erased her unsecured email server, scrubbed it with Bleach Bit software and had it pounded with a hammer, they should ask Russia for them. Does Schiff seriously believe Trump was calling on the Russians to hack her off-line, scrubbed, smashed server? How?!

Since Rep. Schiff is as bereft of humor as he is intelligence (he should never be allowed on either an intelligence committee or a humor committee), I’ll try to explain the joke to him: it was funny because everyone assumed at the time that Russia had long ago obtained all of Hillary’s emails due to her cavalier (and illegal) lack of concern for keeping her classified communications secure.

Trump could just as easily have made the same joke about China or North Korea.  It would've been just as funny and made the same point. But then, we would’ve had to listen to Adam Schiff yammering on for two years about Chinese collusion or North Korean collusion.  Maybe I’d better stop before I give him any more stupid ideas.

Revealing fossils found

By Mike Huckabee

Paleontologists digging in North Dakota have found what’s being hailed as the most important discovery of the new century: a “time capsule of the end of the world.”

It’s the perfectly-preserved fossilized remains of a group of fish, insects, mammals and one dinosaur, all jumbled together, that apparently all died at the same moment 66 million years ago, when a tsunami-like wave and a shower of rocks, sand and molten glass buried them alive.  It's believed to have happened just minutes after a huge asteroid smashed into the Earth near Mexico, ending the era of the dinosaurs.  They even found charred trees and dinosaur footprints from just before the blast.

Aside from the scientific value, there are two other aspects of this story that should be of interest to us today:

1.  It shows the importance of continuing NASA’s research on diverting asteroids away from Earth.

2.   We can see that the fossilized faces of the creatures who suddenly realized their world was ending have identical expressions to those of Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews when the Mueller report findings were announced.

“This Is Not How You Oppose Racism” Dept:

By Mike Huckabee

First, the “woke” progressive left demanded “safe spaces” for black college students where they could be segregated from white students for their own comfort.  Now comes word that organizers of a meeting at a church in Savannah to unite black voters around one mayoral candidate barred white reporters from the event and posted “Black press only” signs.  Ironically, one of the candidates at the meeting said that his vision was “an inclusive Savannah, a progressive Savannah.”

Looks as if they’re going to have to choose: one or the other.

A wrap-up of all the news you might have missed yesterday!

Daily Verse (KJV)

"Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price."

– 1 Peter 3:3-4

Mike and whomever is reading this...I don't think I made my "security clearance status information" totally clear. ANY member of the committees, Congress, military, and/or any federal employee (DOD, CIA, FBI, DOJ, etc), ALL perform their duties at the need of the Commander In Chief/President...AND he/she/it can PULL, REDUCE, or bar that or segmented security clearances from anyone for NO reason based upon his/her/it judgement and/authority!! Every person who holds a security clearance based upon the need for the job/committee swears under oath with (severe penalties for breaching or jeopardizing those laws), to up hold and protect the laws (UCMJ/and civilian laws), of the nation by those appointed over that person up to and including the Commander In Chief/President!!!!!!
