Evening Edition - July 2

4 minute read

July 2, 2019

While my staffers and I are enjoying a Fourth of July break from the headlines, I still want to share major news that I think is important for you to know…

President Trump made some history in his meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un, and let’s hope and pray more comes from it.  This is the type of thing that career diplomats sniff at because it “simply isn’t done,” but that a businessman approaches by saying, “Well, if what’s always been done never has worked, why don’t we try what hasn’t been done before?”

https://www.westernjournal.com/trump-makes-history-by-venturing-into-north-korea-big-moment-big-progress/

 ----------------------

President Trump also gave an exclusive interview to Tucker Carlson, which you can watch here:

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-tucker-exclusive-interview-homelessness

 ----------------------

Trump also signed the bipartisan “Taxpayer First Act” which will help modernize the IRS, protect whistle blowers, stop taxpayer identity theft and prevent the IRS from seizing Americans’ assets without due process of law.

So when you’re voting in 2020, just remember: Trump is the person who cut and reformed taxes.  Whoever is running against him is the person who wants to raise your taxes.

And if you think the Democrats will only raise taxes on the rich, congratulations: you’re rich now.

 ----------------------------

The ultra-“progressive” leaders of Portland, Oregon, are apparently okay with letting fascist thugs physically assault a gay minority member on the street, as long as he’s a conservative.  But there are a growing number of people in Washington who are finally waking up to this officially-sanctioned assault on the First Amendment and discussing actions that might have to be taken to force leftist-run cities to obey the law and the Constitution.

https://www.westernjournal.com/ct/ted-cruz-blasts-portland-mayor-for-enabling-domestic-terrorists-calls-for-investigation/

Here’s a legal expert’s opinion on this organized leftist violence and governments that turn a partisan blind eye to it, and what can be done about it.  Or as I’d put it, “what should have been done a long time ago.”

https://www.statesman.com/news/20190628/camping-comes-to-austin-public-spaces---but-not-at-city-hall

It’s absolutely appalling to see so many leftist media members trying to spin or excuse the Portland government’s (lack of) actions, or even justify violence in the name of promoting their special brand of “love and tolerance.”  But here, from the victim’s attorney, is a message to Antifa that needs to be the attitude of all local legal authorities in America; and if it’s not, then the feds may have to step in again to protect civil rights.

 ------------------------

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez gave an example of how feminists support other women only if they agree with them politically by denigrating Ivanka Trump’s qualifications for being at the G-20 Summit.  My daughter Sarah no longer works at the White House, but she couldn’t let an easy slowball like that go unswatted.

https://www.westernjournal.com/sarah-sanders-hits-out-at-ocasio-cortez-over-ivanka-trump-attack/

Piers Morgan also weighed in, outlining Ivanka Trump’s outstanding record of accomplishments compared to AOC’s two-line resume (“Bartender…Congress member.”)

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7201137/PIERS-MORGAN-Ivankas-smarter-classier-way-qualified-run-America-AOC.html

 --------------------------

Speaking of AOC, she finally went to the border to see a detainee camp, and that went about as well as you’d expect.  FYI: Institutional plumbing fixtures that combine a sink on top with a toilet on the bottom do not mean you are “drinking out of a toilet.” Warning: Graphic content.  I wish people would remember that when you have the facts and the law on your side, it’s best to stay with that and not descend to your opponents’ level of nasty fake memes and ugly personal attacks.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/alexandria-ocasio-cortez-border-agents-southern-border

Fortunately, we do have some Congress members who see the crisis at the border for what it is, rather than as a backdrop for histrionic political theater.

https://www.westernjournal.com/ct/cruz-puts-congress-on-blast-after-border-visit-stop-the-political-posturing-and-solve-the-problem/

I’ve asked this before, but to those who keep screaming about children being separated from their parents (or people who claim to be their parents) when they’re apprehended trying to enter the US illegally: Have there ever been any American citizens who were allowed to bring their kids to jail with them?  And these camps aren’t even jails: the detainees came voluntarily and can go home.  Since the Democrats are now insisting that this issue should be solved by making illegal entry legal, why not solve the problem of apprehended bank robbers being separated from their kids by making bank robbery legal?  Considering all the other crimes “progressive” D.A.’s are making legal, that’s probably next.

Incidentally, here’s the latest brilliant legal reform from the People’s Republic of Austin. Note that the liberal pols don’t allow this behavior where they work, but it’s fine for it to go on where you live and work:

How did Nike choose to celebrate the Fourth of July?  By prioritizing Colin Kaepernick’s triggered feelings over the flag made by Betsy Ross that was carried by the Revolutionaries who created this great nation where a whining, unpatriotic ingrate can become a millionaire.  And a salute to Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey for taking a stand, and for pointing out what a show of disrespect this is to the contributions of one of the most important women in American history.

Republicans should be pointing out at every opportunity they get that the Dems are shedding crocodile tears about illegal children at the border and their plight BUT they are unwilling to vote money to ease their situation
The outstanding thing in all of this is that they have no concern or feelings for the legal children of America

I do not see that AOC has any interest in helping the citizens of THIS country. Her handlers use her for show. And she shows well, ALL the NETWORKS cover her ever sniffling grunts.

Also, ni-kee can take their shoes and everything else and shove it. I did not know CK was the CEO and board of ni-kee.

What a waste of time money buildings that AOC and the Congress liberal Governors and staff add it all up and the amount is unbelievable. Imagine what that taxpayer money could do if we could get rid of that expense the money wasted on the Iran deal as I look at the waste It is enough to become overwhelmed with shame. AOC is a mental midget unfit to be in congress along with most of the members they are beyond disgraceful Benedict Arnold looks like a true patriot compared to these imbeciles. Their time is up we must rid ourselves of this disease I just can't take them. Our border patrol and police force should be getting the pay this congress is getting and congress should take a 88% pay cut.

Dear Gov. Huckabee, First let me thank you for the wonderful patriotic music. All very enjoyable. Simple solution for these sanctuary cities...STOP FUNDING THEM some of these cities are in such disgusting conditions already, I don't think it would take too long for them to start to clean up their own act. Also, I think people need to boycott Nike, wouldn't take them long to find a spokesman who actually loves this country. Unless of course they were actually dumb enough to sign him into a long contract. Last but certainly not lest, I think your Sarah is an amazing young woman. So happy she took swing at the AOC. That one is really a dim witted twit with an extremely big mouth who really needs to go back to bar tending.

I'm intrigued that those who favor removing symbols of oppression such as statues of Confederate leaders also tend to vote for the party that defended slavery before and during the Civil War, then fought all attempts at Reconstruction following that war, preferring instead to demean and defeat black citizens through economic means. Don't these people realize that the Democratic Party was the chief defender of the KKK?

I was recommending a book to you and my message sent before I told you the title! It’s called “I, Jetebais” by Robert Martin Bishop. (That’s a pen name of my cousin that he invented from his dads name, and he was a Lutheran Bishop. My dad, his brother, was a Lutheran pastor too). It’s a great read and is full of great quotes and humor. I hope you read and enjoy it!

This for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez --this person(and I absolutely refuse to refer to this person as "ms"(as that designation implies a title of respect{which is a quality that must be "earned" with consistency, moral character, truth, humanity, dedication to a higher standard}). This person possesses non of these qualities, and thus must be referred to as her job description--that being Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, period. She does not deserve an accronym(aoc) -which might serve to elevate her standing(as the media) is wont to do, with less than human individuals.

    Governor
In the south" pick of the litter" was a common practice among hunters, especially bird and coon hunters. The man with male dog would get his choice of the litter at weaning age.The choice would be made, not necessarily on size, color,or gender, but intelligence and other characteristics.
There is a salve called spitherinktum that the hunter would rub on a pups nose to keep him from chasing trash and barking up the wrong tree.
The Democrats have a big litter to choose from ,all sizes, colors, and genders but not one with intelligence, but one will be picked.
My question,do you think you could find one of those old coon hunters in Arkansas that the Dems could get a little Spitherinktum from?
Second thought, maybe 5 pounds to send to DC!

I can only hope that other states see NIKE for what is is. If they allow this un-American "Kaepernick" to dictate what they can sell then they will never get another red cent from me. I hope other states follow Arizona's lead and kick Nike out of their stat too.

I feel like I'm shouting into a Well and only get the Eco of my voice coming back. I need to quit reading your 'News Letter' ... 'Evening Edition', because the more I read the more I know there are 'Positive Solutions' to many of the issues you report on. I had Joseph Farrow's attention over at WND until he had a Stroke. His 'Sidekick', David K., doesn't have time or desire to pursue our 'Project', like Joseph once did because he is too busy uncovering and exposing the 'Bad Guys" (Whistle Blower) rather than pursue aggressive, positive fixes to the many issues at hand.

    Our "Global Quarry Projects" will:
    • Unite the masses in a 'Common Cause and Effect', Non-Partisan, Rescue, Rehabilitation and Restoration of "At-Risk Humanity and Endangered Environments" back to productive functionality.
    • Cure many a disease, Naturally, using Education and Aquaponics to produce a common-sense approach to Wellness and Longevity (Mike ... you are absolutely right, 'Big Med & Big Pharm' will not support that initiative). However, I am Living Proof It Works. In tonights News Letter you mentioned that "If something that has always been done a certain way doesn't work ... try something new that does".
    • Envolve the masses in the '3Rs ... Mission', World Wide, as Earth's populations, which has tripled in my lifetime (78 years), shares the same humanitarian and environmental issues and challenges. Unity of the Races in such a cause is a worthwhile endeavor in itself. The fact that it is 'Christ-Inspired' gives rise for concern to many, however, what better way to show 'Christ in Action' than using Him as our Model. A young friend recently commented ... " I'd rather see a 'Sermon' than hear one".

'Global Quarry Projects' ... "Christ in Action". II Chron. 16:9

Surly 'Islam' has a similar Global Initiative. Tell me about it.

There is a specific Site in Texas I would like to use to 'Demonstrate the Awesome Power of God' at work using His 'Global Quarry Projects Vision'. President Trump can Win Big using this one Project. It will 'Spawn' many more World Wide. We need to visit

colin needs a belt up the side of the head. Too many people are listening to him and he is nothing and nobody. I don't care what he thinks, he is an ingrate and ...I won't say it. Worthless? yes, he has done nothing positive in the last 3 years. He needs to be taken down about 4 notches. He thinks he is important, and he is nothing.
