Today's Edition

News about Trump and the attempts to undermine him is blasting like water from a fire hose. But we won’t let you drown; here are the highlights for today:

First, for those of you who (like me) have always suspected Rod Rosenstein was doing much more behind the scenes to facilitate the Mueller investigation, there’s new evidence that our suspicions were on target. Judicial Watch has obtained Justice Department documents that include an email from Rosenstein to Robert Mueller advising him that “the boss and his staff do not know about our communications.” On May 16, 2017, the day before Mueller’s appointment, he emailed former deputy Attorney General Mark Filip to say, “I am with Mueller. He shares my views. Duty calls. Sometimes the moment chooses us.” He also kept in touch with a number of strongly anti-Trump media contacts. There’s much more...this press release from Judicial Watch is a must-read:

Next, Trump’s former special envoy to Ukraine, Kurt Volker, was supposed to be the Democrats’ star witness in the “impeachment inquiry” –- I use quotation marks because, without a floor vote, it isn’t official –- of President Trump, shedding all kinds of light on the alleged efforts of Trump and Rudy Giuliani to go after Joe and Hunter Biden.

Dems on Impeachment: It's to make sure "the proper party remains in power"

By Mike Huckabee

“I’m concerned that if we don’t impeach this President, he will get re-elected. If we don’t impeach him, he will say he has been vindicated.”

Texas Democrat Rep. Al Green let this slip on MSNBC last May, revealing that the relentless effort to impeach Trump is all just politics. Of course, if Democrats are able to remove Trump from office, that means Vice President Mike Pence gets a big-time promotion, but don’t think Democrats haven’t thought of that. A “President Pence” is absolutely unacceptable to them. In fact, I wrote just a few days ago that some in the Democrat Party are likely strategizing to take down both President Trump and Vice President Pence, leaving Nancy Pelosi next in the line of succession. Pelosi might stay in office for awhile or resign right away and leave the Presidency to her second-in-command.

Sure enough, former Watergate prosecutor Jill Wine-Banks mused about it on MSNBC:

“You could impeach Pence first. The problem is that Donald Trump then has to name his replacement. But I think that maybe a deal could be struck where he was told if you don’t make a replacement, then Nancy Pelosi does become President. And so you are going to be impeached and convicted; you need to make this replacement so that the proper party remains in power.”

"Impeach Pelosi"

By Mike Huckabee

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is so used to being in DC and San Francisco, surrounded by sycophantic liberals, she needed a wake-up call that not everyone says amen to her Trump-bashing, pro-impeachment rhetoric, and many of us are fed up with her pious, hushed-tone, melodramatic claims to be protecting the Constitution when she’s actually shredding it in the name of raw politics.  Well, she got a reminder of that Friday in Greenville, South Carolina, when she arrived at a Democratic fundraiser and was greeted by hundreds of Trump supporters in MAGA caps, chanting, “Impeach Pelosi!”

Another whiff of Schiff: We KNOW he lied about the "whistleblower"

By Mike Huckabee

“Adam Schiff is basically the Jussie Smollett of Congress, on steroids.”

So said Donald Trump, Jr., on Wednesday’s HANNITY, and he nailed it. Overall, Wednesday was an especially contentious day in the news. Admittedly, it can sometimes be hard to take, but keep in mind, this is because a few (not enough) brave Republicans --- most notably the President himself --- are refusing to roll over. Obviously, the gloves are off.

First of all, we now know that California Rep. Adam Schiff, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and also head of the impeachment inquiry, has lied repeatedly about the so-called “whistleblower” complaint against the President. Even The New York Times had a story on it, written in NYT style, but you can still tell from this that Schiff lied…

I wanted to make sure you also read this commentary:

Rudy Giuliani may rant, but once again he’s right concerning the actions of President Trump. At a time when almost the entire media are conducting an exercise in groupthink, Rudy can devastate their argument in just a few sentences...

“The fact is, the President of the United States has every right to ask countries to help us in a criminal investigation that should be undertaken...suppose the political opponent committed murder; what are we gonna do? He’s a political opponent, so you don’t investigate him? The fact is, this is not a political opponent; it didn’t start that way...I started this investigation long before he was a candidate...solely for one single purpose: because I’m his defense lawyer, and it exonerates him. It shows there was a lot more collusion in Ukraine than in Russia and that Joe Biden materially assisted in getting some of that covered up.”

And the alleged corruption goes back way before that --- to the ‘80s and ‘90s, he said over the weekend to Howard Kurtz on FOX News’ MEDIA BUZZ. And when Kurtz pointed out, accurately, that many people are uncomfortable with the idea of the President’s personal lawyer doing this investigation instead of the government, Giuliani agreed that the government should be doing it --- but that they’re not. And he knew how corrupt some of our own FBI officials were, he said, citing Andrew Weissmann.

“I didn’t go after Joe Biden,” he said. “They [the Ukrainians] handed it to me.” In fact, they were the ones who showed him the video we’ve all seen of Biden’s “confession” on stage during that 2018 meeting of the Council on Foreign Relations. (So that’s where that came from.) Giuliani also rightly pointed out that if a Republican had bragged about withholding foreign aid to get someone fired who just happened to be investigating his son, the media would have gone INSANE --- I assume that means more insane than they are now.

Still no charges or arrests of the lying treasonous socialist democrats. Why? What is Barr doing? The evidence is already in the public square and still nothing.
Why isn't the FCC suspending CNN and NBC broadcast license for refusing to run GOP adds?
Why is the GOP and RNC so pitiful in getting their messages out? Maybe they should hire some democrat marketing people to teach them how.
