Here’s some more information about the historic and almost mind-boggling meeting between the leaders of North and South Korea and their announcement that after decades of armed standoff, all hostile acts will cease and “there will be no more war on the Korean peninsula and a new age of peace has begun.” If this holds, and let’s all pray it does, then we can finally rest easy knowing that the only explosions over Korea will be liberal reporters’ heads exploding over the South Korean Foreign Minister’s statement giving credit for this startling turn of events to President Donald Trump.

Very nice article about the President’s Press Secretary, revealing what she does and what she reads before going out to deal with the hostile press every day. Sounds like someone must’ve raised her right.

Broward County, Florida, Sheriff Scott Israel refused to accept any blame for the Parkland school mass shooting, despite repeatedly missing the danger signals and his deputies cowering outside while it went on. He joined the chorus blaming the gun or the NRA. But as they say, it’s those closest to you who know you best, and those closest to the Sheriff are not impressed.

Israel’s own deputies are petitioning the Governor to replace him. This follows a vote by the 628 union members of the Broward Sheriff’s Office Deputies Association in which they voted “no confidence” in Israel by an 80% margin. The union president said Sheriff Israel “fails to listen to the people. He fails to listen to the membership, and he wants to blame everybody else for his problems.”

In response, the Sheriff refused to listen to the union members, dismissed their no-confidence vote as “inconsequential” and blamed it on negotiating tactics for a raise. Who could have seen that coming?

A Manhattan judge ruled this week in favor of a bar that refused service to a Trump supporter wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap and threw him out. The man said the staff of the ironically-named “The Happiest Hour” bar told him, “Anyone who supports Trump — or believes in what you believe — is not welcome here!” The man sued, but the judge ruled that supporting Trump is not a religion or some other group covered by New York’s anti-discrimination law, which doesn’t protect political beliefs from denial of service by businesses.

So I guess the message here is that if Christian bakers and florists don’t want to work on same-sex weddings, they shouldn’t say the redefinition of Biblical marriage offends them. They should just say the couple’s liberal political views offend them, and then they can withhold their services with no legal consequences.

Huck’s Criminal Mastermind APB: Police in New York City are looking for a woman who was caught on surveillance video at a Popeye’s Fried Chicken, shouting and using a chair to smash a window. The window wasn’t the only thing that was smashed: an employee said the woman was “extremely drunk.” She destroyed a window with a poster on it for the “$4 Wicked Good Deal,” not because she was wicked but because she was furious that the deal didn’t include a soda.

On the bright side, it’s a nice surprise to hear she’s that eager to drink a soda.
