Yet another reader comment, this one unnecessarily huffy

Been watching C-Span, carrying the House Judiciary Committee workings on the Barr statements --- this is unbelievable! I watch BOTH Dems and Republicans act like children having their candy stolen from them –-- even a 5-year-old would not shoot the barbs these worthless wastes of skin are shooting. The chairman (please notice the LOWER CASE) , is a stupid individual; he cannot adhere to parliamentary procedure rules and restricts debate --- there appears to be NO oversight to this restrictive behavior. You want obstruction, this is it.


As soon as I say stupid, this post will not be published. This is my opinion –-- I have the right. [If] You don't publish this, you are no better than the jerks you decry.

Since we did publish this, Gary, and even chose to highlight it in the newsletter, thanks for implying, perhaps inadvertently, that we are better than jerks. We’ll try not to stoop to the level you did, as this is the Governor’s forum and he is much nicer than we are.

 

Sure, you have the right to express your opinion, but you don’t have the right to have it published by anyone. The irony here is that you really didn’t have to be so defensive, as we tend to agree with what you said. The House Judiciary Committee hearings ARE an embarrassment. One thing we’d disagree with, however, is your characterization of both parties as equally juvenile and “stupid.” We see Republicans, for the most part, trying to behave like sensible adults –-- under extraordinary circumstances –-- while Nadler and the other Democrats are acting like manipulative children.

 

We also agree that there is obstruction. We’re seeing it from the very people who accuse TRUMP of obstruction. Prime example: As William Barr looks into into the fishy origins of the Trump/Russia “collusion” investigation by the FBI, Democrats are doing their utmost to discredit and even get rid of him. THERE’S your obstruction. It’s not by Trump --- it’s by THEM.

 

Thanks for writing, Gary. Next time, you don’t have to get all huffy. That’s what jerks do.

    I have. noticed that often the morning and evening come at the same time. Sometimes with old news. Have had to sign up at least twice in 3 months. Is this site secure? I like the articles I see as they are more accurate but this is starting to annoy.. Also you sometimes run articles frim the past. I can always cal up the earlier editions. Will it ever stop or do do most other conservatives have a short attention span like the millenials and Marxists in the House?

    I'll have to defend Gary because things have gotten so bad and for so long just plain ignored. People have committed crimes and just ignored. It's just gotten hard to swallow that and be civil about it anymore. We've *had it!*

    Democrats have become completely unhinged!! Nadler trying to hold AG Barr in contempt because AG Barr refused to break the law .. however that was just a diversion!! The true goal of putting AG Barr in contempt was to obstruct justice as investigations turn on Hillary, Obama, Comey, Clapper, etc!! Nadler hopes to "head him off at the pass" as the old saying goes.

    Gary, oh Gary, you overlooked the obvious. The majority of Republicans in DC have been afraid to fight back these past few decades. They've been far to gracious, or respectful to speak up for truth! They have caved and quite frankly been railroaded for too long. I am thrilled to actually see the long over due gloves come off. The Dems would never have grown to the depravity, nor strength that they have if so many Republicans had not sat back and allowed the take over. This is exactly the spell that Trump broke! Politeness apparently wasn't keeping our country from sinking into the swamp of immorality, or global takeover.

    I love your response to Gary! I agree with you guys. My opinion, the Democrats are acting like the jerks and It doesn’t matter how the Republicans respond they are made to look like the bad guys. I believe the Republicans have the right and should get right in the Democrats faces and make them look like a fools that they are. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it! (Hope I didn’t come across sounding too huffy myself!)

    Hilary, oh Hilary, they pushed to the front
    Right past a Sanders, who had been in the hunt
    The media goshed, graveled and spooned
    A landslide they said, a party fine tuned
    Then out of nowhere, a man for the people
    Candidate Republican, minus the steeple
    Trump called them by name, his roadkill was scary
    A Bush, a Graham, a Cruz, and a Perry
    The battle came down, to a Trump and a Clinton
    One was established, the other was smitten
    One was the swamp, the other foretold it
    To drain the swamp, watch and behold it
    But what should transpire, before 'lection eve
    Media lies, the likes to deceive
    With Clinton projected to win with thunder
    Ex Obama supporters, would put Trumpy under
    The casters were stunned, and sat in despair
    Ol Hilary the Clinton, campaign losing air
    The east and west states, went into her column
    But Trumpy broke through, in the states she forgotten
    Wisconsin, Michigan, to Trump they did go
    Florida, Pennsylvania, and even Ohio
    Refusing defeat, Hilary the Clinton
    Made every excuse, the media had written
    Conspiracy, with Russia, WikiLeaks and a Comey
    A Clinton was writing, a book of baloney
    The Trumpster had won, with supporters in deep
    He promised changes, most he did keep
    Two years and counting, Dems still protest
    The people demand now, just give it a rest
    A Mueller report, cost millions to write
    Said "no collusion", it was a good night
    ...except for Hilary, and Comey, and Pelosi, and Schumer, and Nader, and.....

    Love your reply to "huffy Gary"! I see how the left spews so much hatred without corroborating facts while the right just simply states the facts as they know them to be true. Keep up the good work and may God bless all of you and our country.
