November 1, 2020

It’s Halloween weekend, but I’m not nearly as frightened by ghosts and goblins as by the possibility that this country could vote our economy toward socialism, our police forces toward defunding, our neighborhoods toward riots and looting supported by elected officials, our gasoline prices toward doubling, abortions toward becoming more common, carried out late-term or at the time of birth, and funded by our tax dollars. Or our policies toward the Middle East moving toward favoring Iran instead of Israel and our policies toward China more to favoring big globalist corporations instead of American workers and businesses.

If voters really think their taxes are too LOW, they can voluntarily send in more. Some of us believe that government should get less and our families should keep more.

Many of us have already voted. My wife and I stood for over an hour in the rain to vote a week ago. That way if a truck ran over me before election day, I could join the other dead people who would be voting that day. I actually spoke to the President last Sunday and told him there was nothing he could say or do now that would cost him my vote.

How you vote is entirely YOUR business, but the impact of your vote will affect MY business and MY life and more importantly, the lives of my grandchildren. But it’s not just the election of the President that matters. Your local school board, your state legislature, your Governor, and your Congressmen and Senator are likely on the line as well. That will impact what textbooks your children will study and whether they are taught that America is an awful, racist country that breeds poverty, or whether it’s the greatest experiment in freedom and the free market in history and that it’s provided an imperfect, but steady climb for women, people of color, and people with disabilities to the highest attainment of any country in history.

If you haven’t voted yet, what will make you vote a certain way? Is it the personality of the candidates? What the media says? Or do you actually try to find out what candidates have done? Not said, but done. If you vote only for the nice smile or nice speech, but you might be voting for a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I’d rather have a sheep in wolf’s clothing!

Please don’t think your vote is worthless or doesn’t matter. It does. And if you don’t vote, you lose your right to complain about how things go in the coming years.

Who controls the Senate matters a lot. If you want to restructure the Supreme Court so more liberal justices can make up law, then vote for Democrats. But remember that liberals on the courts took prayer and Bible reading out of schools, made abortion so easy that it protects the abortion doctor, but not the innocent baby. They said states had to accept same-sex marriage, even when the citizens of states said they wanted to protect Biblical marriage. If your elected representatives want to do these things, that’s one thing, but the judicial branch shouldn’t be making law by legislating in black robes.

So if you haven’t yet voted, please do, but follow the advice we give at My Faith Votes, a national non-partisan group I’m honorary chair of. We remind people to Pray, Think, Vote.

You should genuinely PRAY about your vote. Then THINK about it by doing your homework. And then go and VOTE.

But regardless how the election turns out, God is bigger than any election, any person, any party, any policy, or even the press. Even if Christians get clobbered by politicians and we suffer for our stands, we should remember that “God has not give us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind.” And “greater is He that is in us than he who is in the world.” But let’s still PRAY, THINK, and VOTE!

Remember that great “TRUMP” sign that looked like the “HOLLYWOOD” sign and that mysteriously appeared on a hillside over an L.A. freeway? California authorities took it down, using the ridiculous excuse that it might distract drivers – unlike every other sign alongside the highway. What they meant was it might make liberals’ heads explode while they were at the wheel.

Well, the people behind the sign have released a really cool video showing how it was created in the dead of night. Be sure to watch it. If Biden gets into office, communicating under cover of darkness might be the only free speech left for conservatives.

At this house, the homeowner without a mask is much scarier than the trick-or-treaters.

“The People Are Revolting!” Minnesota’s Democrat Governor used the coronavirus excuse to limit the crowd at President Trump’s rally to only 250 people. Clever trick, huh? But you can't troll Trump. He spoke on the airport tarmac to the 250 people allowed inside the fence…but beforehand, he greeted the hundreds of people who gathered outside the fence, who then stuck around to hear what he had to say.

Also, always worth mentioning: out of Trump and all the people in his staff and family who contracted the virus and whom some leftists were predicting would die horrible deaths and learn the hard way just how deadly it is…every last one of them got over it quickly and is back at work. And now, Trump is hosting 14 rallies in seven states over the next three days while still accomplishing more as President than Obama did in a year.

Hillary Clinton has gotten herself made an elector in New York State so she can cast an electoral vote for Joe Biden for President.

Okay, New York Republicans: maybe you were thinking your vote was futile so why bother? But a lot of liberals have fled New York City, and others may finally be rethinking the wisdom of mindlessly voting for the party of riots and endless shutdowns. If ever Republicans had a shot at winning New York, this is it. And now, you have one more terrific incentive: if Trump wins New York, Hillary Clinton will have to cast an electoral vote for him!

If that doesn’t make you New Yorkers run to the polls and vote, I don’t know what will.

I've been getting texts from several people in the Democrats
volunteers for a wrong number for several weeks now. Normally I ignore, but today, election day 11/3/2020 at11:23 am I received the following text:

Matt Gaetz: An organized group is planning "mass sustained, disruptive movements all over the country if the Dems don't win the election. I can't say too much on text, here are the details:

I am appalled that they really are sending out texts like this! Is there anyway to stop this temper tantrum the dems are planning if they don't get their way? I wish I knew what to do with texts like this that would actually make a difference.

The most important thing that we can do is pray for President Trump to be re-elected. If it is God’s Will then he will be re-elected.
Hope and trust that all Christians are doing just that!!
    God Bless

I have a question. If Joe Biden is elected (shudder), and the investigations against him move forward, can he be impeached before he takes office? I imagine he could be arrested on criminal charges, if warranted. If he does not in fact take office, what happens to Kamala Harris? She is technically not the vice president if he was never sworn in as president. So, besides being a total mess, what would happen? (And PLEASE don't tell me Nancy Pelosi would assume the top spot! She is worse than Biden).

Like you, nothing will prevent me from casting my vote for Donald Trump. My prediction is he will lose this election because there are too many forces aligned against him. I will spend election night on my knees in prayer. It is in God's hands. Prayer is the one thing they cannot take. Everything else is going, going, gone as far as freedoms are concerned.

Looks like your Halloween link has been taken down. Probably noticed by the internet political police. I do presume that you are going to continue to insist that they pay taxes at least on the political contributions being made by the internet control freaks. And definitely do not get to continue to get special protection from liability.

When I get discouraged or depressed about this election or my failing health--I remember one thing--God is in control. Without Him in my life, I would be truly alone and lost. But my belief in Him gives me hope for myself and the future of our country. God bless us all.

i failed to remember to tell you that the steroids that had to be given suppress immunity. we will keep praying for our wonderful president, giving thanks for his recovery from the virus. also that his immunity will rebuild so that he does not catch the virus again in a few months. we desperately need for him to win this election & to lead our country for another 4 years. so many of us were terribly anxious, praying every possible minute for President Trump to recover and he did. i have continually prayed that God grant him the blessings of wisdom and good health. in my 75 years i have never cared so much for and appreciated a president like i do President Trump. we lost our money investing badly, so i pray extra to make up for not having money to give. i did send what cash i could spare in the last thank you note; do not use credit cards.
bless you and your daughter for all your help and support for our president.
i forward your daily verses to friends who so appreciate them.
may the Lord bless you and yours.

I still feel like President Trump will win. I think their will be lot of cheating attempted. And I am concerned about the Senate and the House. I am praying for a new governor. We are of Antifa and BLM Inc. We have a cop running to the next gov of Wa state.
We want law as order. Enough of Seattle and Portland riots. Recently BLM stormed in to a Trader Joes store in Seattle, demanding they be given %15. Where are the police. Well Carmen Best resigned. Now in my town there was a shooting of young black man involved in selling drugs, who was killed. And recently BLM/Antifa crossed over the I-5 Bridge, linking Vancouver to Portland, and started beating up people by a bar and a pawn shop. I don't know if any arrests were made, but we are all tired of this. There are citizens preparing to defend themselves. Vancouver police I think will do a better job than Portland. Our mayor, so far, seems sensible. We will have to wait and see.

Governor, you are such a good commentator that I have no additional words to add! My husband, George, and I have set our DVR to record your show each week, but we usually can’t wait to hear you and your guests, so we watch the show with the ads.
My mother, who will turn 94 this week, moved in with us in March and cannot be left alone, so I got absentee ballots for all three of us, and I hand delivered our ballots to the town clerk last week, since it is difficult to go in person now. I am so pleased our POTUS and FLOTUS! I want to thank you for all that you have done to promote American patriotism and exposure to all of the great guests you have interviewed! You, Sir, are a great American! May God bless you and yours as we enter the holiday season with thankful hearts and the Christmas spirit, and may God bless America and turn our hearts back to HIS once again!

Our pastor’s sermon this morning was on Christians, cast your vote according to the word of God. We, the “Silent Majority” cannot afford to be silent! If we read, study and believe the Bible, we know who to vote for!

It distresses me greatly that people say their vote does not count !
A great many people do not know the definition of Socialism!!
I am amazed daily by the lack of knowledge and complacency of our US citizens! May God forgive them and guide our country.

I turned on FOX this evening to a video of “ peaceful” demonstrations. Well, I guess you could call them, peaceful as no one was firing anything, or breaking any thing. Unless you count my breaking heart as I watched a young woman shout as loud as she could “I hope (police) your children all get raped. Behind her was a sign that said “the only good cop is a dead cop”. These people screaming looked and sounded deranged. The teachers and college professors have a lot to answer for. I certainly don’t mean all teachers as I know some that are very frustrated by what they are required to teach. Furthermore those talking robots on CNN and MSNB and ‘news” shows are sinning against God and the people of this country. This includes PBS which is supported by tax dollars.
On the good side I just looked up to see Kirsti Alley calling out CNN and others. Today as I was driving down a road connecting two WV towns there was a whole line of card and trucks, flags flying, horns honking, with big Trump signs.
So if Biden wins, if they can’t get him to go peacefully for health reasons, they will probably Impeach him for corruption. If the
Senate holds, they should vote against conviction and make the Dels live with what they wrought. I think this has been the plan all along as to how they could get in a rabid socialist. Pray the Senate holds, or this country is toast.
I doubt the GOP will start the kind of campaign to try to overturn a Biden win as the Dems did with Trump. But, just like with Obama, the Media will support everything he does, or says. My only satisfaction is that the .dems will have to live with what they have done. Well, not the politicians and rich folks, but I repeat myself, as they will skirt the rules.

Thank you for every single item you post Governor Huckabee. You truly are the Mark Twain of our generation. You are inspiring, sagacious, and humorous. My husband and I voted early as well for Donald Trump. We are praying that he wins because he stands for everything that is America and against abortion. My husband and son are Pastors and just can't believe why any Christian would vote for Biden. We print your articles everyday, and thank you for keeping us informed and for your sense of humor. I also, try to watch your program on TBN as often as I can. By the way, I voted for you in the Primary election 2 different times.

It doesn't matter who the person is....NEVER EVER vote for a democrat. They ALWAYS support their party platform, which is murdering babies, now, right up to the time of birth. They refuse help to babies that survive an abortion. #VOTERED

Even if Christians get clobbered by politicians and we suffer for our stands, we should remember that “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind.” And “greater is He that is in us than he who is in the world.’” Thank you, Mike Huckabee, for your wisdom, insight and inspiration.

This morning on Fox and Friends Sunday edition, during a session with Jedidiah Bila, one of the women (a doctor, democrat) said she was in favor of birth control. I'm quite sure that she meant "abortion", but saying it that way confirmed for me what they really think abortion is; it's prevention. (well, that and selling baby body parts).
We truly want Trump to win this election, if for no other reason than our relatives in Minnesota tell us that if Trump doesn't win, they are all moving to South Dakota.

"And now, you have one more terrific incentive: if Trump wins New York, Hillary Clinton will have to cast an electoral vote for him!" No, if Trump wins then a completely different slate of Republican electors will cast votes for Trump.
